Reuniting Love with a Howling Embrace

"He's jacked. Who would've guesse." Senku said, still in shock.

"Kohaku… Did you know this old man is so fucking muscular like that?" Inuyasha asked with his eyes widened and bottom jaw down in shock.

"I know that Old Man Kaseki always gets worked up whenever something gets him excited to make something, at least according to Sango." Kohaku answered, never really knew about the whole muscle thing.

"Give me that! I'm about to show you how to make a proper see-through vessel you idiots were trying to show us." Sango snatched the iron straw from Inuyasha.

"Grandpa, you'll be my supporter." Sango looked back at her grandpa who nods.

Sango started putting the iron straw into the heated blubbery material and spinning the straw, she takes it out and blows the right amount of air through the iron straw to give the shape on the inside, Sango grabs the pair of iron tongs to flatten the bottom of the glass and heat it up.

"Water, please." Sango said to her grandpa.

"Right!" Kaseki nodded, pouring just the small and right amount of water at one end when she used the other iron straw to hold the flat end.

Sango uses the iron tongs to make the other end on the inside to not only widen the see-through vessel, but also to make it longer like a really wide neck.

"Ah, man! That's nuts! You've never seen it before and you're like a glass-making master!" Chrome was shocked to see how well Sango is doing with making the glass.

"Not just her, but this old man too!" Inuyasha pointed at Kaseki who has already begun making another glass.

"No way! That's so bad!" Chrome was shocked even more.

"The old man, I can understand because he's got all those years of crafting experience. The girl, on the other hand, is someone who was born a prodigy who is able to heritage the skills and learn from the old man to truly bring out more of that crafting potential like she had more years than him." Senku chuckled, seeing the kind of people those two are.

"Before I started taking up crafting, my grandpa was the big deal with the skill and being going at it for 50 years even today. So, he's a really big deal." Sango smirked.

"Oh, you're making me blush, sweetie. Don't forget that you're a big deal too." Kaseki smiled.

"You know, this somehow reminds me of a girl I knew who was really good at one thing though she didn't like to brag about it much even though she was already well-known." Inuyasha mentioned.

"There are people like them in every single era. People with true talents who've spent their whole lives with their heads down and completely dedicated to their work." Senku remembered hearing about those kinds of people back in his old era.

"Man, if those glass-making people from our old era were to see this then they would definitely be impressed." Inuyasha said.

"Would you mind explaining yourself about what the Hell you're talking about? You're making it sound like you and Senku aren't from this time period of our world." Sango had a feeling there was something about these two that are different from the rest.

(Dinnertime)

Sango and Kaseki are having dinner together with the others, getting the first taste of ramen that they heard about though never gone down to try it until now, and the taste is more thrilling to them.

"I still can't believe you made these out of foxtail millet." Inuyasha whispered to Senku.

"Had to think of something to get those villagers to come over to do some of the work for us, but now that you're here, we don't have to worry about putting them on death's doorstep after eating a bowl." Senku shrugged.

"You're making it sound like you want to make Inuyasha a slave." Kohaku narrowed her eyes at Senku.

"I'm still wrapping my head around it. Everything you just told me, that you two were once the statues like the ones we see around on the cliffside, how the world used to look like, all the wonderful things humanity made only for all of that to be gone when you were all petrified." Sango said before slurping on her green noodles again.

"I'll be honest, I would call you both crazy as shit for making up such a thing, but I don't think of you two like that at all." Sango looked over at Inuyasha.

"Despite how you both may seem on the inside, there is truth in your words and from your eyes that I can't ignore." Sango stated.

"If Sango believes you then I believe you too." Kaseki said.

"Really? Just like that?" Inuyasha asked in surprise.

"Believe it or not Sango has a very keen instinct that tells her whether that person is lying or telling the truth, you could say she has the power to see through lies." Kaseki explained.

"Her instincts helped out this village a lot besides crafting, like this one time a murder was committed from inside the village, and she was able to find out it was one of our own." Kohaku mentioned.

"Oh yeah, I remember. It was seriously bad." Chrome remembered how scared he was.

"To be honest, that man almost had me fooled, but I was able to do some digging around and expose his true colors." Sango said.

"Wow, so you're like an advance detective above Suika. Actually, like a living lie detector." Senku complimented.

"Now that I think about it, I think I started being a little observant from how Sango is." Suika said.

"So, have you train that instinct of yours to be prepare for anything like that?" Inuyasha asked curiously.

"Not exactly, I mostly focus my skills and my instincts into the crafting art. But there are times when I would do some combat training with Kohaku whenever she comes visit me." Sango explained.

"She's a good training partner; our skills are about even though she is above me in terms of physical strength." Kohaku stated.

"Which is something we'll definitely need in our goal in saving humanity, all 7 billion people who were turned to stone." Senku was determined.

"To think there used to be so many people from so long ago, it must've made the world look smaller with how advance it was with the science." Sango looked up at the sky.

"I bet that strange bright light I saw days ago was your doing, wasn't it, Senku?" Sango asked.

"Yep, just one of the big things sciences can do." Senku nodded.

"In that case, you can count on my help to make whatever you need in the coming future against this Tsukasa man." Sango decided to join the Kingdom of Science.

"The way he thinks the world is about only nature and it's his right to keep it less human as possible, that the strong and young deserves more. Just hearing all of that makes my stomach twist." Sango glared at the fire.

"Bastard really think of himself as a god, but he's not so high and mighty when he got a taste of the White Demon Dog Fighter's strength!" Inuyasha smirked, cracking his fingers.

"The White Demon Dog Fighter? What the heck is that supposed to mean, a nickname?" Chrome asked.

"I've been calling myself that whenever I fight against anyone who wants to challenge me, guess you could say the name has a meaning that says about me like being a demon dog who refuses to take orders from anyone." Inuyasha explained.

"Definitely felt like I was fighting a demon when we first met. I still get goosebumps." Kohaku recalled that moment.

"Not only that, but you're also a little bit of a superhero. I seem to remember seeing the news about you stopping criminal thugs." Senku said.

"What can I say, I was raised right." Inuyasha shrugged.

Sango does some thinking while eating her ramen, now hearing that the statues of people being found almost everywhere are indeed people trapped inside from Senku and Inuyasha.

Which means That thing in her hut is also connected to their past, from their old era believing they need to know about this.

"Say, there is something I wanna show you guys at my hut. In the morning, after breakfast." Sango said.

"Huh, what is it?" Inuyasha asked.

"It's better that I show you." Sango said.

"(Now, what could my granddaughter be up to?)" Kaseki thought wondered.

(The Next Day)

The Kingdom of Science group are following Sango who has come to escort them to her home with Kaseki as he wanted to visit her since it's been a while, she really wants to show them something.

"Here it is, my hut." Sango gestured over to the hut, which is about three and a half times bigger than the other huts at the village.

"Wow! You really like to live the big life!" Inuyasha commented.

"I needed the extra room for my own crafting projects. The one I lived with my grandpa wasn't cutting it anymore." Sango explained.

"It was saddened for me to have let her go off on her own, but I knew she needed to grow up all by herself and let her crafting skills grow as much as she wants." Kaseki smiled.

"I would visit her once and a while to see the things she makes, and let me tell ya, they're going to scare the clothes off from ya!" Kaseki chuckled.

Most of the group were confused about what he means by that, but once they get inside, everything started to become clear on what kind of crafting skills Sango has that not only surpass Kaseki, but a very different style than the usual harmless crafting.

"Shit…" Senku exclaimed in shock.

On the walls of her hut are tools that most would expect from a primitive group of people except these ones are more of weapons such as the blades and hammers and spears, but there are even more like the blades that are made from the shiny rocks are longer like real swords and the hammers are also made from those materials as well.

There are also things like shields, little claws for climbing, pads for protection, the clothes just like the one Sango is wearing, and other kinds of weapons such as a bow and arrow and sickles with ropes attach to it. Some of these looks like they were made from other materials like coal and crystal.

"Whoa, so bad!" Chrome exclaimed in both excitement and fear at the same time.

"I had no idea you were making things like this." Suika said. Her body is shaking with fear.

"Yeah, I kinda had the same expression when I first came in here." Kohaku said.

"Sango, were you preparing yourself for war because there is one coming." Inuyasha asked in shock as he looks around.

"You could it involves one of the stories we heard from the village priestess, one of them talk about how people were warriors that fight with their bodies and the weapons they created that can be use for either good or evil depending on the wielder themselves." Sango remembered that.

"Hearing about how the people could fight back against certain things that were consider impossible, they really inspired to make these the best I could, but I fear these weapons might not be good enough compared to our ancestors." Sango explained.

"Man, you made these with just your bare hands and without any of the stuff we have, and you even got your own furnace!" Senku was shocked to see the weapons like they were made from their modern era.

"Don't tell me… Have you been training yourself on how to wield different types of weapons? Inuyasha asked.

"Yep, some of them were a little easy while the rest were very hard, but I've been managing just fine and gained quite the experience of a trained warrior." Sango smirked.

Inuyasha spotted something in the far back at a corner of the hut, it appears to be hidden from a big red cloth and judging from the size it must be a really big weapon.

"Hey Sango, what's that?" Inuyasha asked, pointing at the big object hidden inside the cloth.

"Oh, that's something I just finished making not too long ago though it did take me a really long time when gathering the materials and such." Sango answered.

"But that's not what I wanted to show you and Senku." Sango said as she moves over to the other end.

"This here, this is what I really wanted to show you." Sango gestured to the thing she wanted to show them.

When Inuyasha laid his eyes on what appeared to be a statue, he thought it would just be a random person that he doesn't know about and wants to get back to helping Senku with the glass, but this statue is more than just a random person as he got a good look at it.

It couldn't be her, could it? There was just no way that she just happened to be here all this time in the short time Inuyasha has been with Seku, never knowing that she was this close to him.

He walks up to the statue to get a closer look to see if this really her.

"Kagome." Inuyasha uttered the name as he raises his hand touching the stony cheek of Kagome, the girl he loves.

"It looks like I was right to believe that one of you would know this girl." Sango said.

"So, this is the girl you wanted to confess your feelings to. I may not know her; I can already tell she means a lot to you." Senku figured.

"Well, go ahead and use that Revival Fluid to free you. Get your girl back so we can get back to our important science project." Senku pushed him forward.

"How insensitive can you be? He's having a moment!" Kohaku scolded.

Inuyasha can definitely tell that this really is Kagome, the same girl from 3700 years ago, here in one piece.

"Right, time to bring you back." Inuyasha took out the two jars, using the one that is almost empty.

"It's still amazing that you were revive without the entire jar worth, but you should use some of more from the other jar just to be extra sure." Senku advised.

Inuyasha did just that with pouring the remaining Revival Fluid from one jar onto Kagome and then poured a little bit from the other jar, he's not sure how long it took for him to get out when Tsukasa poured this stuff on him, but he figured it wouldn't be long.

It only took a few seconds for the stone to start cracking from one spot and then the entire thing cracks almost all at once.

"H-Hey, the statue is cracking?!" Suika gasped.

"Is that supposed to happen? What will happen to the girl?" Kohaku worried.

"Don't worry, it's the process that happened with me and my friends, this is how I intend on saving all of humanity!" Senku smirked.

And the entire stone skin crumbled away freeing Kagome from her stony prison as she fell into Inuyasha's arms.

"Wha… Am I out?" Kagome asked, seeing her hands.

"Kagome." Inuyasha said, getting her to look at his face.

"Inuyasha?" Kagome was surprised to him as the first thing she sees in thousands of years.

"Inuyasha, is that really you? Please tell me this isn't a stupid joke from Eri?" Kagome hoped this is real.

"Are you kidding me? I thought you would still be smart enough to know me despite having one of the worse grades in school." Inuyasha smirked.

Kagome's eyes widen with realization from those slightly hurtful words knowing only one guy who would be trustful with harsh words and caring about her more than he cares to admit out loud. Tears came down from the eyes with her heart going crazy as she goes in for a full embrace.

"Inuyasha! I'm so happy to see you!" Kagome cried.

"Yeah, you have no fucking idea how much I wanted to find out. Guess I was lucky on pulling the sooner straw." Inuyasha smiled as he returns the embrace. Then let's out a loud and proud howl.

"Whoa, this is so crazy! She came out of the statue! Fully alive and hugging Inuyasha!" Chrome gasped.

"This is even more than what we were told!" Kohaku said while the others minus Senku are freaking out.

"Glad to see you're reunited with your girlfriend. Now, we just need to get back with our glass making." Senku reminded him of the road to making the medicine for Ruri.

"Fuck you. I'm having my moment with Kagome and that's what we're... AAAAAAAHHHH?!" Inuyasha screamed when he finally saw that Kagome is butt naked.

"K-K-Kagome!" Inuyasha stuttered.

"Inuyasha, what's wrong?" Kagome asked.

"You're… naked…" Inuyasha revealed.

Kagome blinks twice and then look down at herself to see her body is in fact naked, and her face turns very red that she is hugging her longtime crush into a naked embrace.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH?!" Kagome screamed that can be heard from outside the hut.
