Leorio jumps at the front door slamming open and closed. Loudly his roommate stumbles inside. Leorio sighs but keeps his eyes on the tv, Gordon Ramsey having his full attention. 

“You’re back pretty late Peeks. Did you have fun?”

A giggle makes Leorio mute the tv and whip his head over with worry. Kurapika almost trips, doesn't, and then giggles again. His face is flushed with a blushing pink and his eyes are kind of out of it. A mix between a hiccup and a cough leaves him, making Kurapika cringe slightly.

Leorio watches in horror as his roommate, and long term crush of three years, stumbles over to their common room couch. In all of his years knowing the blond, he's never once seen him smile so freely. He's also never heard him laugh this genuinely. 

Kurapika barely even talks to Leorio. He just locks himself up in his room and studies. On rare occasions he will come out and watch a movie with Leorio or make himself food instead of doordashing. But for the most part, he stays locked up.

Kurapika fumbles on the couch and then slides off of it. He sits on the floor, his back being supported by the couch.

“Kurapika . . . here, let me get you some water.” 

Leorio quickly gets up and gets a cool glass of water for the blond. While in the kitchen, he starts cursing himself. He needs to pull it together and get his head out of the gutter. His friend is drunk off his ass and he needs to help him. Especially as his roommate.

Leorio takes a deep breath, grabs the water, and heads back to the common room. Kurapika is still sitting on the floor, but now his shoes and shirt are off. The blond drinks a few sips before pulling away, making Leorio struggle to not spill the water on him. Leorio puts the cup on the side table and tries his damned best to ignore the growing bulge in his pants.
