This is fantastic! I'm loving this AU so much, and while I am super excited for more seriously there's no pressure for it, I understand that life can be super overwhelming sometimes and you have a lot going on. Tbh your stories are always fantastic and I feel like you could totally show this to a publisher or an agent and get on track for writing an original work. There is so much representation here and I love it. It makes me so happy to see it in fanfic and even happier to know that you will be incorporating it into original work in the future because those outside of the realm of fanfic could seriously use some works like this.

I read the newest chapter, and it is FANTASTIC. I love the format, it mixes things up fantastically, and I love the fact that we're seeing not just their interactions with each other, but also the press. I'm excited for a chapter in this style by Kovarian (which if you're not already planning on doing you really should, cuz I think that would be great. And I understand the need to write what you want to write, so really just write what you feel you can do best at rn. Also I love all of your Whovian fics (I'm not in the other fandoms you write for unfortunately), so whatever it is you update next I'll be excited. Also I think I've mentioned before how much I love your representation, so I'm glad it will keep being in here. :)
btw I used to comment a lot on your FFN stuff until I realized that you are also on here, and I like this commenting style better, so I'll just read your stuff on Ao3 now. I expected you might not remember fully, since you get thousands of reviews, but I left a few of them, so I'm glad you remember me at least a little bit! I actually found you because when I first started watching Class I realized I needed more Charlie/Matteusz in my life and I stumbled upon the space hospital oneshot and then quickly fell in love with Kalei Jacobs, who I think is my favorite OC ever and quite possibly one of my favorite characters in anything I've ever read. She's just so upfront and interesting in the best way. Also the Hijab Incident is one of my favorite fics ever, and I just wish I could have had a maths teacher that awesome when I was in secondary school and maybe I would've succeeded in being a physicist like I wanted to as a kid. I mean, I'm doing just fine as a lit major and I've also always wanted to be a writer, but I was super into science as a kid, and sometimes i wonder. Anyway, Kalei is awesome, and so are you! :)
Note: I just realized that that comment has nothing to do with this fic, but it occurred to me that what /is/ related to this fic is that if you could sneak in a class reference, like if Kalei makes a cameo as Bill's friend/cousin I would so love it. I mean, you don't have to, but they are both the queer biracial role models I needed as a kid and not everyone is related to everyone, but if you could even just make them friends or something I feel like they would really get along.

Also, trust me, I really really really do want to work Quill and Kalei into the story somehow (though Bill and Kalei would not be related, I don't think) but I haven't quite worked out how yet, so I can't quite promise anything even though there's a good chance of it happening somewhere.

Okay so maybe a thousand was an exaggeration lol. Still, you get like 3-5 times more hits and reviews than me and I get overwhelmed by how many people look at my fics so idk, maybe it's just me. Also you're right that I enjoyed chapter 3 and when I got to Tanya I had to stop myself from squealing because I'm in public haha, she's honestly my second favorite after Kalei, with Charlie as a close third. For now I'll hold out hope for Kalei in this story and regarding Bill in the Quillei verse I am so ready for it. Speaking of Charlie, I know that obviously this is a totally different story, but you should totes make her cameo as like a niece or something like that. Honestly when I first read the scene where Missy was talking on the phone my first thought was "Saxon?" but I quickly deleted that idea and then I thought "Martha?" because while I have never read that pair it just popped into my head. But my third assumption was totally "secret kid" and I thought it might be Charlie, but then I switched back to Martha b/c I don't think that Theo could be kept out of the loop for her to give birth, and then I thought "It's Missy, if anyone could keep a secret kid out of his notice it's her, and now I'm conflicted so idk really and I'm excited for what comes next whatever it is. Tbh I've been so overwhelmed with finals and work that this fic is a super welcome distraction. I hope that you are having as much fun writing it as I am reading it, which seems to be the case :)
it totally depends on what pairings/fandom I'm writing for, tbh. often, the smaller fandoms and ships will do more comments bc they're more grateful for content/less entitled lmao, like, my Thirteen/River oneshot has LOADS of hits but if you compare the ratio of hits to comments on that to like, one of my class fics or to this fic, it's kind of wild how few people comment, relatively speaking. Still, I'm very appreciative of all the attention I DO get, in any form.

as for who Missy is on the phone with, you'll have to see haha the secret kid idea is certainly interesting but yeah how plausible that would be with the whole fame issue is definitely pretty up in the air

That's fair. I suppose it does depend on the intended and then actual audience and how things are received. And /of course/ Kalei is my favorite, she's honestly so fleshed out and well done. Tbh I feel like I got to know the characters better from your fics because the show was so small, it had so much potential, I'm really sad that they cancelled it. :/
I figured the secret kid thing wasn't exactly plausible, but I can dream lol. I'm glad you're having fun with this fic! I think that's the most important thing when writing tbh. I feel like when it's no longer enjoyable it's no longer worth it. That said I really am having a load of fun reading it, so I hope that your writing experience continues to be great for you too!
