Magic Ramblings (Arcana Headcanons)

Headcanons/scenarios of varying lengths by me! Requesting rules are in the first chapter.
Request Status: Indefinite hiatus until my writer's block is gone

Notes:

A couple things to note before we start:
- These all take place post-Upright ending, unless otherwise specified.
- Lucio is technically the Count, but it's an honorary title. Nadia and Valerius pretty much do all the ruling. Lucio just plans parties. I got this idea from IAmTheHero, who got it from Flowyen.
- The Apprentice (that's you!) is the court magician. You get paid to read old books and experiment! Technically, you still own (and live in, depending on your LI) the shop, but your relationship with it is complicated now.

Hello, and welcome to the fever dream that is my imagination! Let's get right into the request rules, shall we?

I generally only write for the main six plus Valerius. You can request different characters if you want, but I might turn you down.

I don't do citrus. Fluff, angst, platonic, whump, sure, but no smut. I will not budge on this.

I reserve the right to deny any requests if it makes me uncomfortable. If I deny you, I'll let you make a different request.

If I may, may I request something with Valerius? Just some headcanons on how he tried to court Reader-chan. If you're not up to writing him, than the main sis is fine, darling.

Okay, so I got a bit of a weird one here.
So, imagine this. It's a lovely day. The sun is shining, birds a'flying, and then there's a shriek that reverberates through the entire castle, a shriek that turns into a hee-haw.
Yes. Reader-chan accidentally turned into a donkey. Why a donkey? I like donkeys. Now what?
(This is weird. I swear I'm not on drugs. But I am on allergy shots, so I'll blame that.)

  This would make the, what, third magic mishap chapter? Fourth, if you count the accidents in teaching Lucio and Val magic. These sorts of chapters are always fun to write.
  I'll take this one too, but I might switch up the animal reader gets turned into for some of them. I've already come up with at least one pun for the donkey, though.
  By the way, I am still trying not to laugh at this prompt. It's bizarre and I love it

    So long as Valerius ends up with the donkey MC (because such an uncouth creature can NOT be the love of his life), that's fine with me. And magic is fun to mess up with.

      He and Lucio will definitely end up with the donkey. Lucio was going to anyway because he actually seems to like wordplay (at the very least, there are like, ZERO puns in any of the other routes).
      Magic is very fun to mess up with. As long as it's not permanently harmful anyway...looking at the noble boys

        Lucio has a lot more of a sense of humor, it feels. Or at least he's a ton more open about it.
        Valerius, on the other hand, is too sophisticated for a sense of humor. That's why it is my life's goal to get him to laugh for once.

heyo! im sorry to request, but perhaps you could do like main 6 + valerius with a short mc? like i know people are like "ooo 5'2, short" and most people assume that short still means taller than portia, but, in my case, i am 4 feet, 11.5 inches (yes, i will hold onto that .5 for the rest of my life) and how they would react to that. (i imagine muriel and portia's reactions would be really funny lmao)

Hi! Not sure if this would be an odd request but I’ll name it! Would I be able to request a magical mishap where reader accidentally shrinks themself? They’d be kind of embarrassed about it though their s/o thinks it’s cute that mc now fits in the palm of their hand. It’d be the main 6 + valerius. Thanks!

Your writing is so fun to read! I just got into this fandom like a week ago and already I’m shoveling fics into my brain like I need it to survive. If it’s cool can I request a main 6 where mc is a cat? Had a dream I was trying to use a spell to talk to pepi but it went wrong and I turned into a kitten then got chased by Lucio’s dogs ._. It was still a fun dream though! So I guess MC accidentally turns themself into a cat trying to talk to their partner’s pets but it works out anyway because they still succeed in the end. Well, kinda anyway since Faust can kinda talk?

    my apologies for the very late reply- perhaps the main 6 + valerius with a music enthusiast mc? they love listening to music, they may play an instrument, etc. you could also do headcanons for which instruments the main 6 would be interested in learning to play!
