Day 1- The games
On July 7th the tributes rose up from their tubes into our areana. The pedastels are in a clearing aranged in a circle around the golden conrnucopia. The areana itself is a huge jungle. The trees are covered in moss and tower over the cornucopia. Distantly the tributes can hear birds chirping. A female voice rings out counting down from ten. At 3, Jack Mason (district 7) got to excited- he jumped off early and his pedastol blew up. He is the first death of the hunger games.
When the gong sounded most people ran for the cornucopia. Kate bishop, Peter Parker (district 3), riri Williams (district 11) , Cassie Lang(district 5), and Phyla Vell (district 2) all ran away from the cornucopia into the forest.
Both tributes from District 3 got a backpack that was further away
Riri Williams made away with a long knife.
Cassie Lang got a backpack.
Phyla Vell did not get anything from the cornocopia.
After a minute it is clear that the people that ran from the cornucopia were the smart ones. In total 9 people died in the bloodbath alone. After getting what they needed most people ran. A group of mainly younger tributes however stayed by the cornucopia. They drove off anyone else that tried to stay. Everyone spent most of the day walking away.
Ian Rogers and Lylac Patlor were the only survivors out of districts 8,9 and 10, they stuck together and found shelter by a nearby tree. Lylac made a fire while Ian gathered nuts and Fruit.
“They never clarified if we were a team or not.” Said Lylac
“What do you mean?” Ian asked her confusedly
“Well, we are in the same district. So if we are the last left- what happens?”
“One sole Victor remains. That’s what they said. Maybe if we are from the swim district they will let us- don’t count on it though.”
Viewers are reminded that Ian Rogers is correct. Only 1 victor can remain, even if the final 2 are from the same home district.
Peter Parker remained on his quest alone. After walking for 2 hours he found a tall tree. Sitting at the base of it he inspected the contents of his backpack. Inside were the items as followed
1 standard serrated knife
2 plain loaves of white bread
½ pound of cheese
1 black hoodie
1 tub of burn healing ointment
1 roll of duct tape
1 roll of clear plastic
5 meter length of rope
He put on the hoodie and packed everything back in the bag. He wore the backpack and grabbed a hanging vine. Ever so slowly he climed the tree just barley managing to find his grip. When he got to a big enough branch he took the rope and tied himself and his bag to the tree.
Kamala khan, Cassie lang, and Riri Williams also climbed trees. Riri however , had a companion. She seemed to have immediately grabbed T'challa jnr and dragged him away.
“Listen here. Me, your auntie and your mom are all really good friends. If I go home and you don’t, they won’t forgive me. If I have any say in this you’ll get out of here. You won’t risk your neck with any alliances.”
T’challa nodded, he looked rather scared of the girl.
America Chaves found a cave and hid. She had 2 backpacks, a knife and a chainmail armor chest piece.
Billy, Cooper and Tristan had claimed the cornucopia as night fell they created a roaring fire. As they were settling down and deciding who would take watch, the horn of Panem shook the land. It rang out almost deafening. The capitol seal appeared and underneath was written ‘the fallen tributes’
This slideshow is the first of many exciting twists the capitol has implemented! Every night at dusk a projection will show in the sky. A picture of whoever died and their district underneath. This helps inform the tributes of who’s eliminated and gives the audience a good recap incase they missed the last episode!
The earliest district to appear is district 5. Their female tribute was eliminated. Both district 6 tributes were eliminated. Both district 7 tributes were eliminated. Both district 9 tributes were eliminated. The female district 10 tribute was eliminated. The male district 12 tribute was eliminated. The oldest tribute to be eliminated so far is jack mason (14 years, 2 months ) the youngest is love odinson (12 years, 13 days)
