Chapter Text
It echoed throughout Musutafu in the tone a tuning fork would have if it could talk. A sorta wobbly liquid scream that passed through solid objects and the air alike. Off like a shot he ran towards the source of the noise and took in the sight of devastation. The entire block was covered in flames and devastation. Multiple buildings were set on fire and numerous pros were on the ground nursing wounds. The thing that knocked Izuku for six (fuck it I'm using this) was the giant slime creature and the girl embedded in its core. From her expression it seemed she was trying to fire off blasts from inside, but her quirk was being used by the villain as it absorbed her sweat and pushed it outward. His eyes fixed on her and his body froze.
Then suddenly he was within spitting distance of the villain clawing at it trying to get her out.
"Deku!" she cried out ""Get the hell out of here you damn nerd."
The nearby crowd was shocked to say the least.
"That kids crazy!" one voice said.
"Maybe he has a death wish?" suggested somebody else.
"What if he's an underground pro who's quirk makes it easier for him to go undercover?"
"Whoever he is they've got guts!" murmured the crowd in agreement.
By the will of some unknown god he manage to pull her out of the mass and runs with her on his back.
Then from the heavens came a mighty crash and the famous noise of "Texas Smash!" as a punch was thrown and the air pressure turned the slime into a pancake granting other pro heroes time to move in and find a way to incapacitate it. Next on the scene was man with burn scars on his face and arms who lashed at it with blue fire. The rapid change in temperature caused much of the villain to evaporate and leave it at a volume of 2 liters. This allowed the heroes to quickly pack it into a soda bottle and get it to the police.
Meanwhile the heroes who stood twiddling their thumbs were now lambasting a boy who was doing his best to stop somebody else from going into shock from trauma and guilt. He was busy squeezing her hand to assure him he was there and that he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. The pro heroes were happy to oblige until All Might stepped in.
"Hey cut the kid some slack. He did more than you did Death Arms!"
"But that's because the thing just absorbed my blows!"
"Yet he was able to dig out this lady and dash back with nary a problem before I showed up. Young ummm..."
"Izuku Midoriya."
"Young Midoriya you are to be commended and have you thought about applying to U.A.?"
"Yes it's my dream school."
"What course?"
"General studies or support."
"Fuck that Deku. You should be in the hero course!" Katsumi protested.
"Are you sure about those choices young Midoriya?"
"I am."
"Well we could always use more gearheads at U.A. I will obtain letters of recommendation for you. Where should I mail them to?"
"Apartment 2, Dagobah complex, Shili Avenue."
All might nodded and jumped off unimpeded as he had no stowaways as the heroes went back to lambasting Izuku.
---------Three Days Later---------
It was a crisp April morning and Inko went to check the mail and squealed with joy after seeing a letter of acceptance from U.A.
"Izzzzzzzzzzzuuuuuuuuuuukkkkkkkkkkkkkuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she shouted waking her permanently bed headed son who groggily stumbled in. After seeing the letter the exhaustion faded quickly.
"Hello Izuku Midoriya after reviewing your previous accolades and displays of courage we have decided to make an exception here at U.A. for the second time. You will be allowed into U.A. on the recommendations of Present Mic, Vlad King, Power Loader, Midnight, and All Might. You have the spirit of a hero and we would be glad to have you at out school in our support course.
Congratulations Midoriya, you made it into the prestigious U.A. hero school as one of three recommended students. You can live in campus starting tomorrow."- Principal Nezu.
Izuku and Inko looked at each other with tears in their eyes before embracing.
