Chapter Text

The Story of my family is a complicated one to say the least. It starts with my mother Kristin, a young witch who started off using darker forms of magic to bring light and happiness to the village she lived in. But that didn't last long because soon she had to leave due to witch hunts.
Her village would never give her up but she didn't want to risk others' safety so she left and went to the enchanted fae woods. Her mother, my grandmother, had made her a nice cabin out there ages ago for her but she never had to use it. Until then at least.
For the first few months she kept to herself and her craft but it got lonely so soon she started speaking to those who inhabit the woods. She met a creature older than the woods themselves and a fae guard.
Then she met a fae with golden hair and giant crow wings. It was at the river that she would collect from. He's actually my dad, but she didn't know that yet. He was called Crow until she learned his true name.

"In all my years, I've never seen someone quite as lovely as you, may I have your name? Or must I wallow in agony of not being able to know you?" He had startled her.
"Oh! You startled me. And no, you may not have it. But you may call me K. What may I call you?" She turned and smiled at him.
"Well I cannot simply give my name to just anyone. So you'll have to just call me something you decide, darling." He says as he takes a seat next to her at the river side.
"Hmm. I think I'll call you Crow. And just so you're aware, I don't appreciate being called darling." She stood and wiped off her dress and started to walk away.
"Will you grant me the pleasure of seeing you, K?" He turned to ask.
"We'll see, Crow." And like that she was gone, leaving the fae to his thoughts as she went to her cabin.

My mom and him got to know each other over the next few months. Soon word got out to the others in the woods. They started to treat her differently, some trying to trick her more, others just avoiding her.
"Crow why do you keep around? We have no deal but others treat me like we do."
He froze for a moment, "Well, it is because I'm a royal fae. The next king of all the courts. I'm expected to force you to be my wife in an unfair deal. But I always wanted something true, not just magic."
"Then let's make a deal. That way you've made a deal with me but can prove that if we fall in love it's true and not just magic." Kristin smiled at him.
"Well all I ask for is you tell me about humans and the village your from, L'manburg and I'll bring magical fae only items for you and tell you about the fae kingdom Essempi. Though I will need your name." He reached out his hand for hers.
She smiles and grasps his hand, "I'm Kristin Gold"
"Philza." He smiled and sealed the deal with a necklace that held a ring made of gold with a green and purple gem.

Now they stayed together with that deal for some years, until my mother took the necklace off one day and put the ring on her finger. When she met Philza, that's Crows true name, that day she wore a nice black dress with purple accents and a wide brim hat that was black with a purple veil covering the whole hat.
Basically deciding today was the day that they'd start a family. That day they left to the fae world and made a few discoveries.

"Hello my love. Is it the end of our deal finally? Will you finally be becoming my wife and queen?" He smiled at his beloved witch as he took her hands.
"Yes mon coeur." She smiled as he kissed her, and then they were in the fae realm. Then Philza saw that Kristin wasn't just a dark witch but an ethereal witch of death.
"Woah." He was stunned as he saw his soon to be wife standing taller than him, having a magnificent dress on and not really being able to see her face like all ethereal witches.

Ethereal witches were witches that were close to goddesses. Most of them leave the mortal plan to become angles for their goddesses but the ones that belonged to death never survived long. They never usually live past 18 as the magic is too strong.
They also all stayed veiled to not show their magical energy as it unnerved other beings that were not human. So they wore veils.
Seeing as Kristin stood near 7 feet means she's been alive a long time as height was determined by age and power.
"Hi Kristin." Phil breathed out upon seeing her form.
"Hi mon coeur. Sorry, should I have warned you about this?" She asked as she held his cheek.
"Maybe, but it's fine. You are just amazing." He smiled warmly.

As they sat together in the fae court waiting for others to show. Philza had crowned Kristin and put a purple veil on her under the crown to keep her energy hidden.
Soon there was running and the doors to the room opened quickly, "My king! There has been a detected ethereal witch in the realm. What um," Sam, the newest head guard, said and paused as he saw Kristin. The other heads of the court also saw her.
"You all seem to have missed it, This is my wife. Kristin. The ethereal witch in the realm." Phil smiled at the chaos he had caused.

Soon after an official ceremony was had and Kristin found herself pregnant. Philza had left Sam,the head gaurd, in charge to help Kristin through the pregnancy since she had to stay in the human world.
When their son was born he was quiet but breathing. He had no magic it seemed and no fae traits. But Kristin and Philza had no care that he was human, he was theirs.
"William would be a perfect name for him, don't you think?" Philza asked his wife who smiled.
"William Gold. I like it." And so they laid with William as he slept soundly.

It didn't take long for my parents to figure out my brother, William, was sickly. He had trouble breathing most times. He also either only cried or laid sleeping. Kristin and Philza didn't let me know a lot about what happened to him.
William died only a week later. He was buried under a willow tree near the river they met at. Philza went back to being king and through himself into his work to distract him. And Kristin simply left for a few months.
Philza was reluctant but as he worked more and more said he would have no problems with her leaving as he was basically leaving her.

Kristin was gone for months. I wasn't told what exactly happened in this time but I do know that it was a long journey. When she came back to Philza she seemed much happier.
Kristin then brought him to the willow tree. They came home that night with my brothers Wilbur and Technoblade.
"I know how to get our child back. But there is a price to pay and I'm willing to pay for it if you are, mon coeur." She spoke softly to her husband.
"Anything for him back." Philza had told her. She smiled and nodded.
Philza stepped back as Kristin positioned herself directly in front of the tree. She took a deep breath and then started the spell.
"My lady,my goddess, hear my plea." She started, the world seemed to stop moving. A circle of glowing white light appeared around her and the tree. "I wish to have my child back. I will pay the price for him as well." The circle turned black as did Kristin's hair. The tree started to shift as well. "I know he is as much yours as mine but he was taken too soon. So I beg of you to bring him home to me" Then a flash.
When they opened their eyes they saw a hole in the willow tree and saw two small babies.
"Take care of them." They both heard throw the trees. And as Kristin and Philza pick up a baby each the tree returned to normal and the world started to move.
"What shall we name them?" Phil asked as he held the baby who had brown hair and fae ears.
"Wilbur for him, and for this little one Technoblade." Kristin said as they walked through the portal to the fae realm.

Wilbur and Techno grew up as semi normal fae princes. Other than a few differences that made them slightly different than regular fae.
A big one was that Technoblade had a craving for blood and violence and Wilbur could not stand the sight of blood. So Philza usually had to help Techno calm down from murdering others and Kristin had to help Wilbur with every small injury or he would get sick.
It was normal for them. And as the years went on they got older and time continued to go by. By the early 2000s they were both adults and Philz and Kristin wanted more kids.
Soon Kristin had me, Tommy. And just like William I was very sick too as a baby. So Kristin left the fae realm with me and raised me here. In the small town of L'manburg.

Tommy stood in front of his English teacher, Mx. Kit, "The fantasy family project of yours was wonderful Tommy. I'm happy you used the town's folk lore."
"Oh thank you. My mum used to read a lot of the towns folk lore to me when I was little." Tommy shyly smiled. "I actually sent a copy to my brothers and they said the same, they also begged to be in here as fea so I had to."
"Understandable, Have a good rest of your day. And please try not to get detention with me again." Mx. Kit said while packing up.
"I make no promises, bye Mx. Kit." Tommy yelled while walking out of the class.
Tommy started his trip home while thinking. Of course I got an A on the paper. I just had to copy down what mum said actually happened.
The assignment never said it couldn't be the actual things that happened.
