Night, Malta 2019
In on the undergound of the city many dinosaurs where on cages or chained, people around them selling and buying those beasts. A man with a dark hood, gloves and black long sleeve shirt under a bulletproof vest, Ace, walked through the spaces until reaching a man with light skin and a small beard.
Ace removed his hood, revealing his face and short dark hair. "I brought that dinosaur you asked for." He started saying as he moved his hand toward his waist, where a small pistol had been.
The man stared at Ace for a moment. "Where is it?" The man asked, slightly moving his eyes up. Ace signaled for the man to follow him and he did it.
The walked to outside of the black marked, a truck with a blue container with one bar window on each side. Suddenly the dinosaur inside slammed against the container, a loud rumble was heard followed by a loud roar. Ace Smilled as the man handled him a suitcase. "Here is the money you asked." The man said.
"The Broker must be happy with a beutiful specime like this" Ace said as he placed his hand on the container. "A carnotaurus is not easy to get, just one escaped the Lockwood's auction."
The man smirked. "Like I would allow them to get their hands on it." He said as he walked toward the container, stopping in front of its door. "I will sell this by myself, something like it will make me rich!" He shouted the last part.
"That was everything I needed to know." A female voice said before the man was shot on the chest. The owner of the voice stepped closer to the two man., it was a slender woman with long blonde hair and dark brown eyes, wearing a fine white button up shirt highlighted by a white gold belt, dark leather slacks, and black high heeled boots. Ace turned his gaze from the dieing man to the woman.
"Who are you?!" The man shouted as he tried to cover the bullet hole.
The woman smirked. "I am the one that hired you." She said shotting the man two more times. She then turned to Ace.
"I presume you are the Broker, am I right?" Ace asked unbothered by the gun pointed at him.
"You are right, Mr. Romano, I am the Broker." She said lowering the gun and offering hm her hand. "Soyona Santos, and I can give you a big help with your work, if you give me one."
Ace waited for a moment. "What help?"
Next day, Dubai
Ace watched the city from inside a float on a skyscraper. Santos stood behind him. "Isn't it beutiful? The look you get when you are over the rest?" Soyona said stepping next to him.
"It really is, but I didn't come here to talk about the sight." He replied harshly.
Soyona smirked. "Looks like you are the kind of person that is more direct with business." She said turning to a elevator on the room. "I like that" Shd clicked her fingers and the doors of the elevator opened revealing a metal suitcase on a pedestal.
"What, a suitcase? That is the thing for which you made such a secret and made me come here" Ace said a bit curius about the inside of it.
Soyona walked to the suitcase and showed the inside to him, It had 5 eggs inside. "Dinosaur' eggs, raptors to be more exact." She said.
"What do you want me to do with them?" He asked.
Soyona closed the suitcase and handled it to him. "I just want you to rise and train them to kill targets." She said calmly.
Ace tilted his head. "Why do you need dinosaurs for this? Can't you just hire a killer?"
Soyona turned back to the view of the city. "When someone is killed it start a investigation, but when a animal does the service, why inspect?" She said before being interrupted.
"And there is no animal that is a risk to humans in every country, but..." Ace started before being cut.
"But the dinosaurs aren't limited to a place, they are all around the globe without any restriction since the Lockwood incident." Santos completed. He smilled.
"Just one more question." He said moving next to her. "Why do you think I would be able to train them?"
She smirked "I searched about you. You are 24, worked on a zoo training animals from 17 to 23 when you decided to become a mercenary after the Lockwood. You were famous for your hability to handle animals. But when the dinosaurs escaped the auction you decided to work with them, even if it was illegally."
"And where do I get benefits from this?" He asked.
"Very simple, you can keep the raptors for yourself and you can use any instalation that I have, but you will teach them what I need and eliminate targets fot me, of course I will pay you during all this time." She said offering her hand to him. "What do you say?"
Ace took her hand and shook it. "I am just curius what kind of raptors will I dealing with?" He asked
Soyona pulled her hand back and turned back to the city. "Atrociraptor, deinonychus, pyroraptor, austroraptor and achillobator, 5 diferent kinds of members of the Dromeosauridae family. They are belived to be the smartest of the dinosaurs so the easiest to make into obedient killing machines" She said.
Ace smirked "It will really be a fun experience"
