Work Text:

“This is a lot of candy,” Baz looks at the dozen bags I’ve dumped on the kitchen table and then back at me.

“Good thing you have a sweet tooth,” I say, smiling at him.

“I don’t think even I could eat this many Hi Chews.” 

“Not with that attitude,” I challenge him, throwing him a cherry-flavored one, “I like how you taste after you eat them.”

His face dusts a lovely shade of pink before he ducks his head and pops the sweet in his mouth.

I smile to myself and look forward to the end of the night.
