After the fall of the World Government, the Celestial Dragons are scattered and left to fend for themselves in a world which will afford them no mercy. Finally, Donquixote Doflamingo can feast his eyes as these World Nobels suffer the same fate as his family.
A ripe opportunity is available to the Heavenly Demon as well. With the Ope-Ope Fruit beyond reach, for the moment, he may as well start a legacy with someone possessing worthy-enough blood. Thus, he twists the arm of one such fallen Celestial Dragon until she agrees to be his bride and bear his heirs. In return, her accustomed comforts and his protection.
