Batman: Re-imagined
In this world, Bruce Wayne managed to successfully heal himself through therapy and consequently did not take on the mantle of being Gotham's vigilante. Despite of this, he still managed to adapt four sons: Richard Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, and Damian Wayne--all unbeknownst to him are part of Gotham's most prominent heroes: The Gotham Knights.
Why did Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian chose to become vigilante heroes? And how will the 'lack of Batman' change Gotham's villains? Will Bruce ever find out about the nightly activities of his sons? Will the Wayne family survive the chaos that will come to Gotham?

The idea for this came from a Tumblr post, but I changed it to make it my own – added some more conflict to make it more dramatic because you should never write at two am while jetlagged. It escalated. I know the internet likes that, so here you go. Knock yourselves out on the angst sauce. Don’t do actual drugs, kids.

When Bruce’ parents tragically died that night in an alleyway, everyone thought that he will be raised by the Manor’s only butler and most trusted confident of Thomas Wayne—Alfred Pennyworth. Everyone had expected it, even in the funeral of Thomas and Martha Wayne, the closest family friends have been giving condolences to Bruce and a show of support to Alfred, who they knew would take on the role of a father to the orphaned boy.
So it came as a surprise to everyone—especially to Alfred, when the Court decided that Bruce Wayne is to be surrendered to Martha’s half-brother, Phillip Kane. Phillip Kane - now known as Uncle Phillip - brought chaos to the Manor. He vehemently hate Alfred and kicked him off the house, leaving Bruce alone with an uncle who never loved him.

Well,” he took a deep breath, “I, for one, have no fucking intention of being part of Batman’s emotional support family because the man didn’t manage to take care of himself properly!” He glared at Wayne, who winced slightly but still didn’t say anything.

Not wanting to lose him a second time, she also analyzes what went wrong and comes to the conclusion that her Bat was lacking the support network most humans have, a so-called ‘family’. Luckily, this is solved easily: She’ll just revive some others in her domain as well, a caretaker and several young humans called ‘children’. Harry Potter was completely unprepared to meet Alfred Pennyworth and the giant family he brought to Britain post-war. Turns out Alfred and his adopted son, Bruce Wayne, held Harry’s Lordship privileges for Potter and Black, and they didn’t want a child at the head of those two ancient houses. Fine by him, Harry barely wanted to help with the reconstruction efforts already. He was so done being the Wizarding World’s scapegoat, maybe his father’s cousins could help him learn to relax?
TLDR: Harry just wants a nap while Alfred and Bruce argue over who gets to adopt Harry first.

Alfred had shown him just yesterday how to do it, but for some reason he just couldn’t quite replicate the work. The tie just wouldn’t work right, settling crookedly against his chest. He huffed in annoyance, his nose crinkling with displeasure in the mirror. “Coming dad!” He shouted over his shoulder. “Just one second!”
Clumsy fingers untied the knot, then tried it again with the same results. Bruce frowned. “What am I doing wrong?” He muttered.
