This story is going to be slow burn, like that languid yearning we all know and love seasoned with well-ripened apocalypse angst. There will be spice in this tale, though not for a while.

Scott has mostly gotten adjusted to the werewolf life. besides the fact he’s know the pack leader of a bunch of clueless werewolves, one Banshee, and a possible werewolf who is now clinically depressed. After Deucalion had been defeated, life was going mostly smooth. Besides the occasional suicide attempt, pack members missing, and new foes appearing. Scott begins exploring his feelings with each of his pack members, but a certain tall, awkward, timid werewolf catches his eyes.
Stiles on the other hand has not been so great. First, his best friend was bit by a werewolf and greatly transformed. He began to actually play for their lacrosse team, got more friends, and even started hanging out with Jackson Whittemore, the ultimate popular kid. After dwelling deeper into a spiral of depression, Stiles is mysteriously bit in the dead of night as he attempted to calm himself by taking a jog. He immediately ran to Scott, and had been being mentored ever since. However, with the rest of the pack, Stiles doesn’t always receive enough support from Scott, so he turns to an old foe now named friend. Derek Hale.
How do these two’s lives play out? We shall see..

Stiles hated being useless, but as a human in a pack of werewolves that's exactly what he was. He could probably have sucked it up if his pack members were able to protect themselves, but with none of them willing to get their hands dirty the threats kept piling up. Worse, he had started to think Deaton had a sinister agenda as well.
Then Stiles discovered what was left of the Nemeton, a guardian tree which could give him the power to protect everyone himself. In order to bond with it and bring it back to full strength he would need the help of an Alpha, one willing to do whatever it took to keep their pack safe no matter how unsavory or illegal. No one fit that role better than Peter. All Stiles had to do was help him become an Alpha again.
(Or: Peter and Stiles protect Beacon Hills by carving a bloody path through their enemies, and fall for each other in the process.)

The three alphas navigate their new reality, Scott feels crushed by the weight of expectations that seem to come with being a once in a lifetime True Alpha. Jackson struggles with how to be an alpha with no betas and debates recruiting members of his own. Derek strives to be a better alpha to his remaining betas. Isaac, perhaps for the first time since he can remember, is finally in a position to (mostly) not have to make decisions based on survival. Charlie grapples with what she is, and wonders if accepting the path in front of her will only lead to an early grave like her mother and aunts, or turn her into a miserable monster like Jennifer Blake.

Twelve years ago, Kate Argent burned the Hale family home to the ground with everyone in it, including the Sheriff's wife, Claudia Stilinski and young son, Mischief. The only survivor's were Peter (22), Laura (13), Derek (11) & Cora (5). The Sheriff took the Hale children in (including Peter) and they became an unconventionality family. The Sheriff learns about werewolves and is there when his deceased son's best friend grew up and was bitten and became a werewolf, bringing his mom Melissa into the "pack". Five years ago, Laura was killed. Kate, their number one suspect, disappears again, just like she did twelve years ago. So after they are put through hell again, they pick up their lives and keep going. Derek is now the Alpha, Peter is his Second. Then the Argent brood moves to town. When someone starts snooping around crime scenes and the Hale property, the pack decides to strike first & ask questions later. Turns out, the Hale pack just met the third Argent sibling. Where did this lanky teenager who calls Gerard his dad, Kate his sister, and Chris his brother, come from and why does none of it add up?
