The light was bright and beautiful, one that had sovereign the seas, braved the sky, and sculpted a land from the bellows of earthen fire.
The light was burning and accusatory as it ran rapid across long slumbered lands, governed by the happiness that should have never been created in such a twisted way. It lit ivory white wings with its clarity, waking the creature from its slumber of ignorance and sloth.
The light was a glimmer of peace between the forest as it leaped from tree to tree, carrying the winds melody of long won wars and the becoming of the future. The light was gentle as it nestled deep in the lungs where the wind breathed most, easing away pain.
The light was comforting many normal cookies who believed that it would always be better. Especially for one who would protect them from the creatures beneath, the one who had no choice but to believe, as they were once lost in the dark.
The light was the only part of a cookie who could no longer carry it in their dough. They could no longer cradle it close as it began to die out, like they too would sooner or later.
"Who are you truly?" the light once asked.
"The beginning of change." they responded

Both Shadow Milk and Burning Spice have been going through a lot ever since their losses to their other halves. The two are both unsure of what they are feeling.
Shadow is fed up with his own thinking; he needs a distraction. The Cookie of Deceit opens a portal to his fellow beast domain, only to find it empty. After a short search, the deceitful one finds the Beast of Destruction in the rubble of the city he had just finished desecrating. He waits for the cookie to notice his presence, only to find out he had been intruding on one of his more...personal moments. He waits for him to be done, though through his spying, he hears something he didn't expect.
He hears his own name come from the Cookie of Destruction's mouth.

Pure Vanilla couldn't stop thinking about Shadow Milk and his followers, wondering if they also managed to escape from the crumbling Spire of Deceit unharmed. The lack of informations regarding their whereabouts was making him worry sick, especially knowing how stubborn the beast could be sometimes.
On the other hand, this mind also couldn't stop replaying the past memories of the Fount of Knowledge, that he ended up learning about and watching them like it was an agonizing movie during his time in Beast-Yeast.
All of it only made him wish there was a way he could hug the Fount of Knowledge...
