Unbeknownst to both at the time, this exchange would eventually inspire a conflict that would culminate in Vherana taking advantage of Orlesian aggression to lead an invasion of Halamshiral and reclamation of the Dales in 9:50 Dragon.

Both Cassandra and Josephine will share beliefs that not all fans will agree with. This is by design. My interpretation is that both characters are fundamentally “good” but not saints, and each has their own flaws in worldview and that the *point* of this piece is to encourage us all in the real world to reflect and grow ourselves, making a better world in the process. :)

"Fly" is the introduction to Zeckary (or Zecky) and where he originally came from. "Part 1" sets the stage for Zecky as an 18-year-old elf that was raised in Val Royeaux. Basically, this part is a whole lot of fluffy fluff with some hinting at uncool things as well (like the racism/classism issues between humans and elves in Orlais) and shows some silly interactions between him and his besties.

Summary
When the Inquisition left Halamshiral after resolving the Civil War they left a sole empress in charge of Orlais. Through the years since, even post-Exalted Council and rumours of an elven rebellion mounting in Tevinter, Celene has helmed the ship of state alone. It does not mean, however, that she has forgotten the past or her relationship with Briala.
Cyril, of all people, appears to have a plan. Celene is sceptical but she's for everything now.
For her part, Briala has been in exile, working in Tevinter, fulfilling a destiny she did not think would entail this much sacrifice. At a crossroads herself, Briala is to take part in events that will shape the world (again).
Prologue takes place in 9:50 Dragon.
