Summary
This takes place after the Generations Trilogy. Archmage Gromph's responsibilities include organizing the education of those young magic users lucky enough to enter the newly rebuilt Host Tower of the Arcane. One particularly talented student, Belladonna Loravelle, earned the rare distinction of becoming his private pupil. As she came of age, however, her relationship with the archmage crossed typical student-teacher boundaries.
The complications caused by the affair pale in comparison to the problems that arise when a dangerous magical artifact—one supposedly impossible to access—is stolen. To infiltrate Gromph's heavily-warded library in the midst of Faerun's most magical structure, the thief must be not only a mighty wizard but a member of the Host Tower itself. As factions form among the mages, Gromph and Belladonna must solve a mystery before it's too late. Can a human woman restore a magical item and steal a Drow's heart?
I don't own Legend of Drizzt. Any similarities to persons living or past are unintentional.

Summary
Everything you need to know about the latest installment in the Legend of Drizzt series (as of August 9, 2022). This is a very critical analysis and is not suitable for the faint of heart. The sarcasm contained within is biting. If you love R. A. Salvatore's work, it's best to avoid this.
However, if you're looking to talk shop about Glacier's Edge making you feel ways that you didn't want to feel, come right in!
CONTAINS MINOR TO MAJOR SPOILERS.
Will attempt to update weekly until complete.

Summary
The road to Menzoberranzan had been long. Somehow, blinded and afraid, the path from the Isle of Rothe to the Clawrift had seemed longer. Held captive at the Bregan D'aerthe complex, Catti-Brie was determined to see her way through and rescue her friend Drizzt from the clutches of House Baenre. She hadn't counted on Jarlaxle, however. She hadn't counted on his ruby eyes, burning in the dark, nor his sly mention of half-drow children. It had been a long time since anyone had looked at her like that, and so Catti-Brie opened her mouth to inquire further as to the mercenary's meaning, well aware that his answer might crack the stoic dam of her feelings, and sweep her away down a road of seduction that she could not easily return from.

Summary
Two lives entangling ever tighter as Menzoberranzan marches inexorably toward war. Jarlaxle paced the Bregan D'aerthe complex in the Clawrift as the Time of Troubles wracked the City of Spiders. Nestled in the web of his thoughts, protected by barriers of self-discipline, were his memories of Catti-Brie. He could not allow anyone--especially not the psionic Oblodrans--to guess at his most private of harbors. At last the word came that he had been waiting for, that House Baenre would prevail, but the woman who delivered the news was the last person he expected--one that bedding would surely prove a rewarding challenge. And the one from whom he would have the most difficulty hiding his thoughts.
Catti-Brie turned restlessly in her bed. The drow were coming to Mithral Hall. They were coming to kill and conquer, but still, she could not get thoughts of the outlandish mercenary out of her mind. She had to resolve them, and soon, before her feelings could get in the way of the coming battle.

Summary
There were many colorful characters in Baldur's Gate that came down from the upper city to visit the Elfsong Tavern. Astarion sat in the corner, quietly observing the crowd. He wasn't allowed to return to Cazador until he had kidnapped a meal for his master. Failure meant being locked out until the unrepentant dawn arrived and burnt him to cinders. Reward meant sleeping--he hoped--in a real bed.
And then he saw it, a drow man lounging on the other side of the tavern, observing Astarion with a keen interest even as the pale elf swept the patrons for his next target. Unnerving, the way that single ruby eye met his across the taproom. And how odd, too, for by the cut of his lavender and gold doublet, the man was clearly wearing Illuskan fashion. One eye was covered in an eyepatch, though the drow had no visible facial scars, and he watched the room from underneath a wide-brimmed, outrageous hat.
Despite his appearance, Astarion knew that the drow had not come from the upper city. Drow were still rare on the surface, and rarer still in the echelons of high society. Perhaps the flamboyant man was trader--or even a mercenary.
Astarion grinned. An outsider would serve his purpose just fine indeed.
