This spans the end of Empire Strikes Back and goes through Return of the Jedi. It's canon-compliant, but only for the original trilogy. No Disney, no prequels, no sequels, and I've added planets and extra people. No sex so far, but I'll put a warning when that changes. This is mostly from Leia's POV, but this Leia is a more kick-ass than she is in many fan fictions. Quotes by Carrie Fisher at the end.

I came to this game late. I was a Reylo and didn't know it. I've been a fan of Star Wars since I was a child. I was disappointed to learn about the separation of Leia nad Han, and their ending. I also didn't understand Leia's sacrifice.
One day a coworker, also a SW fan, said me: "You're a Reylo!" Oh! Yes. I am a really so Reylo. Since then, I've enjoyed beautiful stories that wonderful writers have shared here. And the others I have on my to-read list. Thank you all!

Although most are opposed to the Sith fighting on their side, they have since realized he is one of their greatest assets.
Leia Organa struggles with the identity of her newfound father, though Darth Vader hopes she can reconcile with him. It is a battle that Leia hopes Vader will lose, but he is absolutely relentless.
Anakin Skywalker rises up out of the ashes of the Empire, and promises a better life for his remaining family.

It is a time of peace. The Galaxy is under the rule of the New Republic. Protected by the New Republic military and Jedi Order. Though now a new threat is rising. The First Order the last remaining and most powerful Imperial Remnant group hide away in the unknown regions of the galaxy, preparing themselves for the day they can emerge and restore the Galactic empire.
Though weak in military power when compared to the New Republic, relying heavily on older Imperial-era ships and only able to do light raids. They prepare in secret to unleash their greatest weapon, the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer. A newer more advanced Star Destroyer that could potentially give them an advantage in the war they plan to rage.
Though unbeknownst to the First Order a traitor has stolen the plans of the new ship along with the plans for other ships the First Order are building. They are also unaware that the New Republic are close to finishing their great experiment, the Viscount-class Star Defender, a dreadnought that is scheduled to be the most powerful and advanced ship in the galaxy.
As the Galaxy prepares for a new war. They are unaware of a new threat lying in wait for the ideal opportunity to strike the galaxy.

Centuries after the Great Emancipation, a society of free abiru flourishes on the secluded paradise world Ruu-113, safe from the tyrannical Viis Empire. No longer does 'abiru' mean 'slave', now representing a melting pot of species free to rebuild their long-lost cultures. While debate and bigotry are rife, the unknown fate of the Viis poses a unifying threat. So too does the arcane Eye of Clarity provide a symbol of solidarity, passed down between rulers as it deems fit to offer its powers.
But the abiru's isolation cannot last forever. As of late, there have been tremendous shifts in the Clarity - the Force that connects all life. The wider universe will soon take notice of Ruu-113, and the abiru with it. And as the Eye of Clarity stirs, it may once again determine the fate of all abiru peoples.
The Abiru Chronicles is a fan continuation of Deborah Chester's Alien Chronicles, crossing over with the Star Wars universe. Alien Chronicles spun out of Robert J Sawyer's planned novel Alien Exodus, which would have explored humanity's origins in the Star Wars universe. While the project ultimately became an original IP under Chester, it received several references in the pre-Disney canon, implying a shared universe.
