“Pot brownies?” Steve asked in his ‘I don’t know what this newfangled invention is’ voice.
“Aw, no.” Bucky groaned.
While Nat and Clint began arguing over the super-secret brownie recipe, you paled and sank back into the couch. “Shit. Shit shit shit.” You had never tried pot. Personally, smoking wasn’t your thing and you never really had a reason to consume any edibles. You had no idea what the effects would be. Desperately, you tried to remember anything any of your friends said about pot. You came up blank; the last time any of your friends smoked pot was during high school. You were now twenty-two. Horror stories of people doing dumb shit while high ran through your mind. What if you said the Thing? You began to panic internally- under no circumstances could Bucky EVER know about the Thing.
“Will someone please tell me what a pot brownie is?” Steve said angrily.
“It’s weed. Grass.” Bucky replied. You expected Steve to show his Disappointed Dad face again, but to your surprise he only looked puzzled.
You wiggled your toes. Why did they feel so… squirmy?
