Danny’s shoulders slumped and he slowly floated over to Plasmius like a chastised child dragging his feet.
Plasmius's smile was full of smugness and condescension as he held out a hand toward Danny. “See? Not so hard-”
He was cut off abruptly, eyes screwing shut just in time for a cold sensation to flush over his face, followed by the distinct smell of paint.
Danny cackled so hard he tilted backward, his bright white hair flaming brighter, “Oh man! I can’t believe you fell for that!” He crowed.

Danny wasn't sure what to do with his life (Half-life? Death?) anymore, but maybe the joining Justice League will be just what he needs.
Now Danny just has to overcome Batman's paranoia and show him that he's more than a sassy, overpowered entity, fight off Wonder Woman's worry, and deal with Superman's cowardice. Luckily Flash is pretty cool, even if he can't keep a secret.
What's that, oh now there are ghost attacks... Great, guess it's his problem now. And here comes his unresolved trauma knocking on the door along with his hero complex and a boatload of guilt. Sure, being Ghost King is a lot, along with being a superhero, but surely things will work themselves out. “Aren’t you angry?” Damian questions. “At what Mother and Grandfather did? At me?”
“I’m angry about a lot of things,” Danny says, keeping his voice calm. “You’ll have to specify on what.”
Damian frowns, dropping his wrist as he pulls his legs even closer.
“I should have never existed,” he says, voice monotone. “How can I call myself the heir of Father’s mantle, when, if it weren’t for Grandfather’s meddling, I would have never been created?”

Signal was a vigilante who worked with the Justice League! Shouldn’t he know better than to make a comment like that? He made a mental note to ask Red Robin to include that in the explanatory ghost slideshow, right beside the rule of not asking ghosts how they died. Danny was usually a chill guy, but he couldn’t just let this slide. This guy had to learn that ghost racism was not okay!

Summary
They all knew, to some extent, that their classmate was the same being that defended the town tirelessly. Some of them knew more than others, but everyone knew in some way. Sam and Tucker, of course, were there for the start of it all and are almost Halfas in their own rights at this point. Not to mention the titles they hold in Danny's court and everything they have helped with.
On the other end of the spectrum, Dash and Paulina knew in the same abstract way that most of the Adults in Danny's life know. The conclusion was there, the knowledge sitting heavy at the back of their throat but they never quite managed to summon the courage to bring it forward into the light. They never acknowledged it so they wouldn't have to follow it with all the other unpleasant realizations that go alongside it.
But they all knew, to an extent. They were aware, on some level, that they went to school with a dead boy.
