Unexpectedly, she thrives in the quadrant. That is until threshing, when Aysel is left in the valley, unwanted and unchosen by all hundred and forty-two dragons.
Now, in addition to overcoming the usual challenges of the rider's quadrant, she'll need to figure out how to survive her biggest enemy—herself. Of course, she'll also be a repeat. And the second time Cadet Bardin is a first year, so are the children of the rebellion.

That was a mistake.
