Lucy stared at her laptop, the letters and numbers blurring in front of her eyes. It was early. Too early even for Tim; he was still fast asleep beside her, arm flung over his face as he snored lightly, a fact that he always denied whenever she teased him about it.
She smiled and rested her hand on his chest for a moment, feeling for his heartbeat: thud-thud-thud.
He didn’t stir, just frowned, the snoring stopping for a moment before his features smoothed out again. This, him next to her in this bed, was a last.
There had been a lot of those in the last few days, minor things, really: Celina and her having dinner together at the kitchen island for the final time, just the two of them; taking a last bath in the tub with the adhesive baby Yodas that she’d bought on a whim a while ago because they reminded her of Jackson; making coffee in the morning before leaving for work.

Welcome back to my readers from part one. If you're new here, well met! My BG3 fanfic with a (relatively) emotionally well-adjusted Tav. There's a lot about half-orc Thenbara's backstory and stronghold, including her (hopefully funny) inner dialogue/internal monologue. I've created a lot of my own orcish anatomy, lore and language, while still trying to be faithful to D&D/Forgotten Realms content and rules.
While much of the game will be mentioned, the story mostly revolves around the companions' relationships to Thenbara and each other, with buckets of non-game/extra-canon dialogue. While my story is generally canon compliant, I do tweak the odd thing here and there, adding in things that I (and many people) wish were in the game. NSFW, smut in Chapters 2, 10 and 11. Lots of spoilers for Baldur's Gate 3 Act 2 gameplay. Relationship and general tags will be updated as we go.
Applicable content warnings posted at the beginning of each chapter, but please request any you think need to be there that I haven't added. Translations of Orcish words and phrases in the notes at the end. Chapters average 4000-5500 words. Not beta-read. Comments greatly appreciated, the more detailed the better. I hope you enjoy.

Oh, out of all the times for him to be considerate! Alastor wasn’t expecting such hesitation; frankly, he thought Vox would jump at the slightest indication of permission. Why does he have to rein in his greedy, grabby little hands now?
“This isn’t one of those times when I’m indulging you,” Alastor says after a pause. “You are to indulge me—without questioning what I get out of it. This is not a lead up to anything sexual, and you are not to get off. I just want you to kiss me until my lips are bruised and my jaw is sore and my tongue is numb. Can you manage that?”
Alastor is coming apart at the seams after returning from a summons from Lilith. He decides to try purging the taste of her from his mouth with that of Vox’s.
