Summary
Gurjin was Rian's rock to lean on. Rian was Gurjin's anchor against the strongest wave. No matter what happened or how dangerous, that never changed. The two started this fight together, and Thra knows that they were going to finish it that way. They weren't afraid of the battle- not when they were together. Yet somehow, the one battle neither could have foreseen was one that couldn't be solved with a sword. The battle where Gurjin and Rian had to figure out what they were, and if they were destined to be something more.
