Prompt #12:
Christmas Eve. Five years after the war. Hermione hasn't been seen since the final battle. She was hit by a curse that changed her appearance and rendered her mute. She's discovered a way to break the curse--someone has ato say her first name three times in her presence. But how does she convince someone to do this when she looks nothing like herself, can't speak, and can't communicate anything about the curse to anyone?
Well, she uses the only assets she's got left. Her mind and her body.
Draco Malfoy is gearing up for yet another lonely Christmas. The woman he's secretly loved for years disappeared and can't be found, no matter how hard he tried. He's in need of female company. He can't bear to be alone tonight, of all nights.
Will a Christmas miracle happen?

Iruka couldn't have pinpointed the exact moment he knew something was wrong. It was a slow, creeping sort of dread that once he realized it was there, he could see how long it had been plaguing him. This sense of unease that had followed him around for the last few days. Faint, at first, like a low hum, mounting into a crescendo that made it impossible to ignore.
And that crescendo was the night a bloody, shaking, feather-covered Kakashi all but crashed through his window.
Inspired by Howl's Moving Castle, Iruka finds himself caring for an injured and confused Kakashi night after night. But as the jounin gets progressively worse, Iruka struggles to find a way to save Kakashi from a never-ending nightmare.

“Just for a second,” He croaked. “Please don’t push me off.”
The man rumbled with laughter. Denki felt almost physically ill.
“I wouldn’t dream of it, sunshine. Just hold on tight for me. I’ll tell you when.”
“You’ll tell me when what?” Denki spluttered. The man gave him a playful squeeze. Great Goddess of the cosmos.
“One…”
“One what? What’s happening, what are we doing?”
“Two…"
“Hey man, c’mon, I think I—My stomach just swooped, I think I’m gonna be sick, wait—“
“Three!”
“WAIT, SHIT—!”
And, all at once, they were weightless.
Or, Denki is the loneliest person in the world, so he decides to wish upon a falling star and swallow it for good measure.

(Although you don't need to be familiar with the film)In 9:41 Dragon, Southern Thedas is engulfed in the terrible mage-Templar war. Evangeline Trevelyan, a young woman struggling against her noble family's status quo, is chosen by her family to represent their interests when Divine Justinia calls a Conclave for peace. But Evvy's life unexpectedly changes when disaster strikes the Conclave and draws her into the heart of a very different conflict.
Finding herself afflicted with a strange mark on her hand - a curse she does not understand - she finds refuge in a magic castle under the protection of a colorful cast of characters. Together, they brave the current conflict, forging bonds of friendship and love as they do, and try to stem the tide of war before it's too late.
This story has been an on-and-off labor of love for over 5 years. Sometimes it's very Dragon Age, other times it's very Howl's Moving Castle, and sometimes it's a perfect (I hope) blend of both that makes something else entirely.
