Summary
“Hey, you good?” He asks, Lo’ak closes his eyes and tries to calm down his thundering heart once again. He then opens his eyes and stares at the lake in front of him.
“Did you do something? Want me to take cover?” At those words, he starts to tremble. Neteyam always took cover for him, even if he didn’t ask. It pains him that his dreams are so accurate with reality.
Silence falls between them again. Lo’ak feels so bad that he’s not talking but it’s like his mouth is clamped shut. Words aren’t coming to him at all.
Then—
“Oh, I get it.” He doesn’t think his brother understands. Now the fish are swimming away, far, far away like something dangerous has entered their waters. It makes his frown deepen.
“Do you blame yourself?”
Those words make him freeze.
“What?” Is the only word that leaves his mouth, quiet in shock.

An alternate universe where the Sullies, Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk’itan, Kiri te Suli Kìreysì’ite, Lo’ak te Suli Tsyeyk’itan, and Tuktirey te Suli Neytiri’ite still have deep connected roots to being Navi; are raised in the city that never sleeps..well Brooklyn, but it’s close enough anyway!
Neteyam is the oldest, keeps to himself, the “protector” of his younger siblings, intellectual. Despite having more traits from his mother, he is still his father’s biggest pride. For seventeen years he’s never been too much a problem, he’s trusted and well put together.
Lo’ak is misunderstood, he acts too quickly without a thought, he has the face of the man that won’t ever understand, rebellion flows through his veins, he believes he can see but hasn’t truly opened his eyes yet, he’s the “problem” child, but he’s real and pure…and also only fourteen.

What happens when her family are forced to evacuate their home and end up at a reef clan, where she meets Aonung, who definitely doesn't see her at first, but when life clangs its noisy bell and Tsin realises that she has no one, could Aonung be someone?
Family problems, unhealthy coping mechanisms, war, and dealing with the crippling pressure her parents bestow upon her are only a few of the problems Tsin faces everyday.

Years after the War, Lo'ak and Spider are sent back in time by Eywa to fix things. Unfortunately, they are not the only ones displaced in time. Their younger versions (from two months after Quaritch took Spider) are also there and as lost as they are. To make things worse... they can see Hometree from where they landed.
Meaning none of them have a home to return to.
What can they do but band together until they find a solution for their predicament? After all, Jake always said so: Sullys stay together. -

Summary
After the battle that had killed his brother, Lo’ak finds himself hurting far beyond what was physically possible. His hurt infests his dreams and floods into his waking life, reminding him that Neteyam was truly gone. His parents don’t blame him, his siblings don’t blame him, but he blames him. Lo’ak blames himself and maybe that’s how it was supposed to be.
It should have been Lo’ak who was shot, not Neteyam. And now he has to deal with the consequences.
Or: After Neteyam’s death Lo’ak crumbles at the seams. Blaming himself for his families misfortune. As his mental health is left unchecked he finds himself on the verge of loosing himself to Pandora’s might waves.
