Mike made an effort to stay in contact with everyone for a short while after getting down, but he slowly stopped reaching out and responding to any calls or texts he got. Sam was the most persistent in keeping in touch with him, and a part of Mike felt overwhelmingly guilty when he watched missed calls from her pile up. He just couldn't talk to any of them without remembering Jessica.
