Summary
The energy of life, of creation. A sacred essence and fundamental part of the universe that quite literally shaped the world as it is. An energy so volatile and powerful that it can bring an equal measure of destruction as it does creation. A mere connection to it is a vast well of opportunity like no other. To the denizens of Runeterra, it was called the Arcane. Magic in the most fundamental form of being. To them, it can be harnessed from the crystalline rock known as hex rocks or hexcrystals. To others in the deep trenches of space, it is the energy that fuels their very being, to them, the true source is called the Allspark. The heart and soul of their God, of their Planet itself.
Each of the two sides is unaware of the other's existence, unaware of what Runeterra houses and of its true potential.
All were unaware until an explosion in the city known as Piltover.
