Summary
Many years have passed since the fall of the hero Sonic the Hedgehog.
Dr. Robotnik has succeeded in taking over the world. Animals have been kidnapped. Factories were built everywhere. The environment is dying. The streets are full of patrolling robots. Anyone who disobeys…is never seen again.
Amy Rose was there that fateful day when Sonic was defeated — her knight in shining armor, the hero she was destined to meet, the boy who would change her life. He traded his life for hers — a total stranger.

The pink hedgehog took up her hammer and joined the rebellion against Eggman. She discarded her old life and her weaker self, now reborn as Rosy the Rascal, the Hammer Hero.

What makes a hero?
MK thought he knew.
A hero, to him, was someone who protected everyone. They put the world before themselves. They're the most selfless, kindhearted people you'll ever meet, saving innocent lives and sparing those that cross them.
But when a new threat rises, MK learns a harsh truth. Not every hero wins the day, and not everyone could be saved. Even the strongest falter, and the brightest lights often cast the darkest shadows.
And yet, not everything is lost. From honing strange new senses to wrangling newborn cubs, MK had grown into his life as a monkey demon, meeting others of his kind and learning their culture. He’s discovered something worth fighting for. These were his people, and this was his home.
But with that discovery comes a harsher lesson. To protect what’s most precious, you must sacrifice your morals. Sometimes, you can’t even protect yourself.
So when clouds gathered over Flower Fruit Mountain, and snow fell far too early, MK knew his world was about to change again.

Wooyoung’s first day at the new school was supposed to be different.
That’s what he kept telling himself when he put on his cleanest hoodie, combed his hair three times, and stared at his reflection before leaving. “New school, new people, new me,” he whispered under his breath, even though his stomach felt like it had a brick in it.But apparently, “new me” still tripped over his own damn shoelaces.
It happened in the worst possible place — the main hallway, where what felt like the entire student population was milling around. One second he was clutching his backpack strap and minding his own business, the next he was kissing the floor like it owed him money. His books scattered everywhere, of course.
And then came the laughter.
