Her goal was to summon Ash and have him and Cia hook up again like in the past. Unfortunately, she ended up bringing one slime girl from another area and from there, slime monsters continue to pour out of the Summoning Gate until they start attacking Smashopolis. My whole existence has changed, including the way I feel things. I do...care...about you. I know that much. And I wanted to kiss you. But I don’t know yet if it’s enough for me to call it love.” He touched Eunhyuk’s cheek gently. “Is that okay?”
Eunhyuk closed his eyes. Was it okay? He leaned into Hyunsu’s touch—warm, like he’d said, even though he wasn’t supposed to feel warm. Comforting, even though he wasn’t human, reassuring Eunhyuk that they could be the same, that Eunhyuk might cease to be human but that didn’t mean he would be monster. That Eunhyuk might change, and he didn’t know if there would be enough left of him to love, but maybe he could still feel something called care.
It quieted the voices in his head, for just a bit.
