Summary
Ellana has been trying to wield the Fade ever since her magic erupted and destroyed everything around her, leaving it a bleak and cold wasteland. Her strange memories, emotional turmoil and terrible teacher leave her grasping at strands for years. So when Mythal's favorite general returns to court, the great All-Mother orders him to teach her promising protegé. Solas must help shape Ellana into a powerful mage; a perfect, loyal weapon. Ellana quickly realizes that she and the strangely kind general have more in common than she thought, including a growing dissatisfaction with the ways of the evanuris. And a fear of what might happen if they're not stopped.
Through terrible conflict and cruelty, Ellana and Solas must navigate a way through the upcoming strife. One that will not only change the fate of Elvhenan forever, but also set them on a path that will only end in heartache. Because some sweet beginnings, might have bitter ends.

Summary
She leaned her head against his chest, listening to the sound of his heart pounding beneath her cheek. She wanted to memorise the feeling, the sound, in case the mission went sideways. She hated herself for what she was about to ask him to do. “Ar isalan na to gara galin tor vis min goes telam.” I need you to get everyone out if this goes wrong.
This fic follows Warden Rook Thorne and her team as they attempt to stop the elven gods from tearing down the Veil and blighting the entire world. Regrets gnaw at her soul, but she pushes onward to make sure their mission is successful and the one she loves survives, even if it means she might not.
I really wanted to expand on the feeling of regrets and how Solas uses that to manipulate Rook into taking his place. The consequences of Rook's choices will be featured and explored.
I intend to recount the game and fill in some gaps, reintroduce lore from the old games and add scenes I thought were missing, like breaks after major missions (HELLO, ROMANCED COMPANION DURING PRISON OF REGRETS). It's as lore-accurate as possible to the old games, but I have taken some liberties. Characters from old games will have bigger roles to play. Rated E for eventual smut.

Summary
A diversion from Veilguard, with Lavellan and some old friends returning to take up the hunt for Solas.
Pretty quickly diverging from the canon. Rating may change as things progress. Spoiler Warnings etc.
Quick Look:
Dorian grimaced, “We’re not taking her back there. Tell me that’s not the plan. He’s painted himself into every wall of the place, it’s hers, but it’s not going to feel like it for a long time, if ever. And it’s hardly defensible, damn place was always more holes than protection.”
Cassandra nodded in agreement, “true, and if my suspicions prove correct Solas always knew it better than any of us. Who knows what secrets and ears he has in those walls… you know, when we arrived at the Exalted Council I was afraid of where it would leave us,” she looked over at Lavellan who was now an exhausted heap on the bed, Sera moving to curl up next to her, bow and seemingly endless quiver still kept in easy reach, “leave her. I never dreamed it could end as poorly as all this. But, I suppose, Exalted Council and disbanded Inqusition be damned we have a mission still. For her.”
Dorian winced and raised a glass of horrible, cheap Orleasian wine in mock salute, “After the Dread Wolf. For her.”

A chess piece, moving in straight lines? Or a harbinger of war and change? Hruse Ingellvar thinks she might be both. When the world ends, and the choices are death or desperation, she willingly goes back to the beginning to see if she can stop it from happening.
Now the only question that remains is will she turn the Dread Wolf away from the duty he thinks he can’t escape, or sacrifice herself for the greater good?

Summary
“We will save our friend from himself, if we can.”
Inquisitor Morinne Lavellan must steel herself to confront the man who left her, took her arm, and threatens to end the world they know. Those that still believe in her are convinced she’s the only one who might be able to convince him to stop - but what if the Inquisitor’s allegiances aren’t quite as strong as they used to be?
Eager to restore his People, Solas leads an army of elves that grows stronger every day. But when it comes time to directly confront those he once called friends, some of his agents begin to question if he truly has the stomach to see this grim duty through to the end.
Then an unlikely Grey Warden enters the game after witnessing Solas’ machinations firsthand, drawing the attention of Viscount Tethras. It earns Rook the job of a lifetime: put down the Dread Wolf once and for all… no matter who gets in her way.
Eventually they must learn that sometimes, terrible choices are all that remain.

Summary
She knows everything is wrong immediately. It is the same, but also different - very different. Magic licks across her skin more freely, like flames of a wildfire in high summer and the weight of it in her lungs burns with the same visceral physical heat. Her side aches. Her head does too. And he is standing there, hovering over her, the same but not the same - different, and young.
You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.
Very loosely inspired by The Wolf and the Fox fairytale

Summary
The Forgotten Ones weren't always... well, forgotten. The stories were likely partially true, the tales of cruelty and hiding in the darkness. They were everything they shouldn't have been - those who caused terror, pain, despair. The woman the world would eventually know as Inquisitor Lavellan was, in fact, a Forgotten One. Somehow Isathe was not imprisoned by the Dread Wolf in the abyss with the rest of them. Whatever the reason, the former spirit of Curiosity coaxed into physical form was stuck in the aftermath of that event. She felt the moment the Veil was created and pulled her even farther from her home. Then she slept. Slept for thousands of years until she woke in a world where elves were no longer what they had been. She had to find a way to stay alive and adjust to the world that formed from the Betrayal so long ago.
Isathe was an ancient elf, a member of the Forgotten Ones and awakened years before the Breach before being pulled into the Inquisition. Hiding herself from the prying eyes of those who would condemn her for her past, the wolf that haunts her dreams and the unsettling gaze of the apostate elf who appeared to know more than he let on.

Summary
Evune Lavellan, servant of the goddess Sylaise, is summoned to Mythal’s glittering and perilous court to demonstrate her work on the Eluvians. But her beauty and unique skill draw the gaze of the sun god Elgar’nan, Mythal’s husband, and the quiet attention of Mythal’s most loyal servant, Solas. In a court where every glance is a weapon and every touch a claim, Evune must survive the desires of gods. She must survive the dangerous pull of the one man she should never want.
A self-indulgant ancient arlathan AU fic.

Summary
The vibration of his voice against her cheek was a soothing balm, each rise and fall of the tune grounding her in the present, anchoring her to him. Though the song he sang was unfamiliar, it carried a sense of nostalgia, as Solas’s fingers traced gentle patterns along her back, mirroring its rhythm.
Only once her heartbeat slowed to match his did Solas’s voice fade into a soft sigh, his lips curving into a contented smile.
“I’ve never heard that tune before," Ellana murmured. "What is it about?”
A glint of mischief accompanied his reply. “An old song I learned in the Fade about Fen’Harel and his lady love.”
She laughed. “Fen’harel hunts alone, Solas. He doesn’t have a lover.”
“Oh, yes he does.” He kissed her, his breath fanning out over her skin. “In this tune, he does.”

Summary
In the beginning, there was a spirit. This spirit grew restless, and sought to form a corporeal body of its own. This spirit thought, and it became so. He became god-king, commander of the sun and of the darkness.
He proclaimed himself supreme divine. He amassed many disciples, and they worshipped him and made great offerings to him. He declared ownership of them, as he was their Father. The god-king demanded worship and prostration, even from his compeers.
Now, the Wolf was the most cautious and duplicitous within the dominion. He hunted within the borders of the god-king's court, pouring honeyed lies into the ears of the People.
However, there was another.
If you hear the call of the Morningstar, our Lord Elgar’nan demands you turn away, as her fickle song will only lead you towards death. This is a warning, and the story of the Wolf and the Serpent. -

Summary
Welcome to my personal hell :D
In this collection of shorts/drabbles for Solavellan Week 2025, I'm exploring Solas' relationship with my two canon Inquisitors (Moira and Evunial) and Mythal. There will be no pure Solythal, and no explicitly sexual Solythal, but imo, their relationship heavily influences Solavellan - and I want to explore that. The main pairing for each short IS Solavellan. There may be Dead Dove-y parts - I'm updating the tags as I go, and I'll give specific warnings in the notes for each chapter.
Explicit Warning ONLY applies to Chapter 5!

“I am no Ghilan'him banal'vhen. A warrior does not fear death before a fight and live to tell the tale, they go on fearing that death every day so that it is as if they had truly died already, trapped in the terror of their own making. I do not fear death, for I am not afraid to fail.”
In ancient Arlathan, Felassan befriends a mysterious arcane warrior while continuing to serve Mythal as a double agent for Fen'Harel. Will he be able to recruit this warrior to his cause? Or will her heart lead her astray?

Summary
Rook has failed, and everything is in ruins. Everyone is dead, and she stands amid the destruction, knowing that nothing can be done or undone.
Against all odds, she used to say, no matter what, she used to believe, never look back, she would repeat to herself. None of that mattered or made sense now when the future was crushed.
At the moment she was ready to surrender her life, Fate itself shifted. Mythal intervened, casting her millennia into the past — to the gleaming gates of Ancient Arlathan. Changing the will of gods is a burden no mortal should bear. But Rook carries the dying words of those who fell for her: Whatever it takes. And she will see it through, even if it costs her everything.
Rook, whose og name is Idunn, is my original DnD character, and the story will blend Dragon Age lore with D&D-inspired elements for a time-twisting story that has been in my mind and heart for almost a year.
