Summary
Once Anne dies and is brought to the afterlife by The Guardian, she learns she can never leave the garden again. Feeling bad for her, The Guardian presents her with a choice.
Stay in her peaceful limbo and rest, or watch over Sasha and Marcy. She chooses the second one.
But Marcy refers to herself in the plural and won't answer to her name. Sasha has become so protective of her that she won't sleep and the only way Anne can help is to visit the dreams that Sasha refuses to have, and Marcy wakes up screaming from.

Sasha and Anne are pirates who sail the seven seas looking for treasure .
When Anne nearly drowns in a hurricane she’s saved by an injured mermaid named Marcy who is trying to escape the King of Amphibia that aims to capture her as a pet. Now they must work together to get Anne back to her ship and Marcy away from danger.
Unbeknownst to either of them Sasha accepts a deal to capture Marcy in exchange for resources to find Anne herself.

As Sasha settled into her beach chair, allowing the sun to envelop her in warmth, she drifted deeper into a reverie, the serenity of the moment wrapping around her like a comforting blanket.
However, the was abruptly interrupted by a light, ethereal tune wafting through the air.
It was a wordless song, sung somewhere in the distance, floating on the salty breeze like a forgotten lullaby. The melody was hauntingly beautiful, captivating in a way that tugged at her heartstrings, almost lulling her to sleep.

That is Until Marcy makes a deal with The Core, At the expense of her own freedom.
Five years later the resistance against the crown consisting of some residents of Wartwood and Anne and Sasha come up with a plan to save Marcy from The Cores manipulation, by sending Sasha in as a spy
Unfortunately things get a lot worse (like astronomically worse) until the eventually start to get better.

This fic is basically a re-write of season 3 of Amphibia, because we all know we shoud've gotten more Sasharcy (we were robbed). Also, it's inspired by an animatic by Chirrea on yt, you don't have to necessarly watch it to understand this fic but I recomend it cause it's fucking amazing. And btw this is only Amphibia's Pov because we already have Anne's Pov in the show and I think it's fine the way it is. (More tags will be added as the story progresses)

The Calamity Trio manage to defeat The Core as a team meaning Anne never has to fuse with all three gems. Which is great because she lives and terrible because it means none of them can ever get home.
5 years later Marcy is about to be coronated queen of Newtopia. Sasha is her trusted (and very overprotective) Knight and Anne is living with the Plantars as an agriculturist.
In the preparations for the Coronation. Old friends are connected with. New friends are made and romance is discovered along the way.
There is no way home but it’s no big deal. Right?
