It was also not helping the nervousness that erupted out of Louis’ heart that when you look up the hill, the sunny side of their town with the hustling and bustling of civilization was a huge contrast to the dark clouds that covered the forest and the lonely but grand estate that was situated there as well. Although, despite the oddities, he found himself drawn to the strange beauty of the de Lioncourt. Their elegance was a stark contrast to the poverty he had known, and he reveled in the comfort and security of his new position.
