Meanwhile, Izuku is doing things out there that he'd never in a million years would've thought he'd ever do.
Some of them good, some of them-well he would've gotten grounded for those because his mom would be scared of him getting hurt. But she wasn't here now, so nobody was stopping him from taking bad guys on by himself, without any real training.

This is part 4 of my Blank Canvas AU. If you have not read the first three parts, you should do that before starting this one. ;) On to the summary!
Life has never been easy for Izuku. Every step of the way he has had to give 100% effort just to get the bare minimum. And yet, despite his many hardships, Izuku has always remained optimistic. A much needed quality after his life has once again gone to shit. A hospitalized mother and a Villain father with no home to return to, Izuku is now a ward of UA. But Izuku will not let this stop him. No person, no threat, no Quirk was going to hold him back from pursuing his dream of becoming a Hero. Izuku will fight on.
For part 4, we're going into the Overhaul arc. No clear idea of an ending. I'm still on the fence of even what I'm going to do for the Gentle fight. (Honestly it's my least favorite in canon.) But we'll see how things go.
We're not getting into more uncharted territory plot wise for me. So, my update schedule is changing. I'm only human, right? :P I'm aiming more for a monthly update if life allows. Please don't ask for when updates will come. They will happen when they can happen. Thank you.

Izuku is an ex experiment of the corrupt military, for years he was brutally tortured until the point a quirk manifested with his body, after he years of hell he was successfully moulded into a human weapon, he saw war, he saw his best friend and brother die, he saw himself turn into something he is ashamed of, and then, he was sent on a mission that would eventually end with him safe, saved and in the home of people who cherish him.
But, the military never really lets anyone go, they want him back and will go to any lengths to achieve that, they will pry from safety and pull him back down to hell, there’s no way they can allow their weapon become something so soft.
Tragedy and comedy, two remaining members of the military are waiting, waiting for the right moment to welcome him back.

The rain slammed itself into the ground, a cacophony of sound that grated against his ears. Flinching at every drop, he looked up. The sky was dark, a terribly dull and threatening colour, which blocked any and all sunlight reaching out its beautiful, warm rays and hugging him close. This also limited his visibility, faint grey outlines of garbage bins, litter and cardboard boxes scattered around the alleyway.
“Kid?” He paused, shocked. He wasn’t a pro at situational awareness but always managed to at least notice when someone approached him. Maybe he was worse at it than he thought. Trying and hopefully not failing to hide his inner turmoil, he slowly turned around, taking in the man who approached him.
If a hero approaches a quirkless child in need, it's just because of their duty right?
