Ayano Aishi was one that was always surrounded by loneliness.
Yes she may have had friends- a small group of considered outcasts in their proceeding lifetime, but they didn't understand her like she wanted them to. They couldn't understand her empty heart that boated with blood and nothing else, but she also couldn't understand their bursts of emotions either. Her mother says she'll meet the right person one day, her father insists on her making friends and connections.
The first emotion she wants to learn is love, and she'll do her damn best to feel that emotion in order to be normal.

This is basically just the game written out so it could be read. I will include the tapes and details of the tapes. When more of the basement tapes are made, I will include those too. This is basically just the lore. There are lines directly from the game used in this. Whether or not I make a sequel for Ayano Aishi entirely depends on of the game is ever completed. Since it has been over a decade and it's still not finished, I doubt it. Each chapter is a new rival. There are details I added just to add. This is in Ryoba's perspective. This will have the cannon ending and eliminations. I plan to add what happens to Jokichi Yudasei after the end of the game.

Summary
Long after the events of Ryoba Aishi's 2021 murder trial, a series of audio tapes were leaked to the public. Known as "The Journalist Tapes", they were recorded by infamous detective Eikichi Watanabe as part of his investigations into Ryoba's crimes. The original tapes can no longer be found on the internet, partly due to Eikichi wanting nothing to do with Akademi since the school shut down, but these transcripts were preserved before their deletion.

I loved watching Kubz Scouts play it, and I've been seeing people redesigning the rivals, which inspired me to create an AU with my own spin on things.]
Ayano Aishi doesn't understand love.
Actually, she doesn't quite grasp any emotion for that matter. But she watches. She notes how others preform -quick giggles, gifts, flushed expressions, the gestures. And she attempts to mold herself to those standards.
So when she meets 10 boys, including a disturbingly sweet upperclassmen, she suddenly finds herself the very center subject of this foreign thing; love. Or at least, what she assumed is love. She studies their every move in hopes of understanding emotions better.
