Regulus has an irreparable relationship with the number 3.
His brother was born on November 3rd.He was 3 when his brother took his first hit, of many, for him.
He was in the third grade when his mother told him boys can't play outside with girls, and when he failed to oblige immediately, given no time to wave his friends goodbye, he was struck over the head. You guessed it, 3 times.
He was 13 when his brother left, leaving only 3 things behind. One of those things being Regulus.
His brother had been gone for 3 years, when his mother started introducing him to girls around his age, sometimes a bit too young for a 16 year old boy.
It was 3 months after his 17th birthday when he realised he was gay. Which was almost the worst one of them all.OR
Regulus fights through his train wreck of a life but life seems to come to a sudden halt when a tall boy, with a goofy grin and glasses comes stumbling into his life. Not leaving any space to worry about his mother, threes and the crippling anxiety that comes with it.
