Reader's review: It feels futuristic and dystopian in the best ways possible. Could be seen as a sci-fi with lots and lots of romance, brotherhood and goof. It remains mostly funny and light-hearted through out and has a lot of fun action stuff. The only real sadness is when we are done reading it and know we won't be with these characters and this universe ever again. I just wanted the story to go on forever. -

One thing that would probably never change, because it was at the core of a wolf's nature, was the claiming. The moon goddess chose several people that could be considered your soulmate. This was so that you would most definitely have a mate in this lifetime. Betas were free to mate with each other as they pleased, and occasionally the moon goddess paired an alpha with a beta or another alpha- but all omegas were fated to be with an alpha. Once an alpha put a claim on the first omega they were soulmates with, all other potential matches were no longer able to feel The Pull.
