Rui Kamishiro had been born different. He was different from his peers on an elemental level. But while he had been hopeful as a child that hope quickly served in strangling him. Utter rejection of his self was all he knew.
Yet live is funny in the way that it gives you what you desire most when you have already given up.

The soft, quiet mornings before the world fully stirred, the lingering warmth of the bed still clinging to the sheets, made the world feel slow and gentle. He treasured these moments, especially the ones when the others were still lost in sleep, faces soft and peaceful.
There was something about seeing them like this—their cute, unguarded expressions, the little smiles tugging at the corners of their lips as they dreamed. Tsukasa felt like he was privy to a secret no one else could see. It was selfish, maybe, but he didn’t mind.

Nene was getting progressively more worried about Tsukasa.
As of recently, Wonderlands x Showtime was partaking in a show competition with other troupes in ArcLand. The prize: getting to perform the show at The Center Theatre for two whole weeks.
Nene found her role to be kind of relatable. Of course she had scenes that she couldn’t act out as well as she’d like, but she found her role more enjoyable as time passed on. However, she couldn’t help but worry a bit.
First reason, this was their first official romantic show. Rui had been careful to avoid topics of romance as they had been performing for kids, but since he found out how to write a play using his own experiences, he had been more adventurous (? -Nene) with his shows and directing.
Second reason, Tsukasa’s role, and the favor he asked of her.

On a quiet train ride, Nene discovers the vulnerability behind Tsukasa’s shining smile. Sometimes, the greatest courage isn’t on stage—it’s in being there for someone when they need it most.
