Of course he is. Of course he is happy. Who wouldn't be happy because their grades are doing so well? He never fell behind even with the responsibility as Spider-Man at night. So, why does he feel so sad about it? Well, maybe because people think he is annoying.

Peter was tired. Tired of school, his internship, people, talking, everything. Every little action he had to do felt like a chore, like he was a kid having to wash the gross dishes for some pocket money but without the reward. Everyday without fail he woke up tired, he skipped breakfast, sat through boring class after class, tried to fake normality to his only two friends, ate barely enough dinner to not die of malnutrition in the freezing winter, went on patrol and attempted to sleep till the early hours of the morning. It felt as if he was watching his life from outside his body, like his soul was floating outside him and he had to painfully watch his lifeless body preform the exact same routine almost everyday without fail; the only variation being his occasional nights he'd stay at the compound or do his internship every Thursday. He felt his life go on and on in this endless loop that he couldn't seem to shake no matter how much he watched it repeat.

“Christ, I feel like I haven’t seen you since,” Happy paused, biting his cheek, before continuing, “since what happened to May. Where’d you go, Pete?”
Pete.
The nickname winded Peter, fist curling around his mask tighter as his eyes widened. Happy’s mouth was moving again, slowly moving closer to Peter, but all Peter could hear was white noise. Happy wasn’t supposed to know Peter’s name. He didn’t register how close Happy had gotten until a hand fell to his shoulder, making him jump and agitating his chest in the process. Arms pulled him back from the roof, Peter falling into Happy’s chest as he realised just how close he was to the edge.

Bucky wakes up to the sound of something crashing. He sits up and hears grunting downstairs. He gets up and heads downstairs slowly. When he gets downstairs, he realizes the sound is coming from outside. He heads out there and Peter’s looking around.
“Hey, you good, kid?” Bucky asks.
Peter turns and Bucky knows the look in Peter’s eyes. He’s mostly asleep, and panicked. Peter attacks Bucky, which he mostly tries dodging. After several minutes of trying to wear the kid down and no signs of him slowing, Bucky puts him in a hold where he can’t move his arms.
“Kid, calm down,” Bucky says. “It’s just me, it’s Bucky.”
“Buck… Bucky?”
“Yeah.”
Peter stops fighting and his body gives out. Bucky holds all of Peter’s weight.
“Just leave me here. It’s my fault that Mr. Stark’s gone,” Peter chokes out. “Just leave me here with him, please.”
Alternatively, a rough morning leads to healing for Peter and Bucky.

Peter Parker remembers Titan. He remembers the planet’s unsteady gravity pull. He remembers Mr. Stark and Dr. Strange; and Mr. Quill and his assorted band of aliens, too. He remembers playing the most intense game of keep away with Thanos’ golden gauntlet as the token.
He doesn’t want to remember Titan. He doesn’t want to remember how Thanos called him an "insect" while the latter constricted his airways impossibly tight before throwing him like a football. He doesn’t want to remember how his nanite mask eventually ripped — and how the Titan quipped about his mortality before squeezing.
There’s nothing after that. At least at first.
Then— there’s light. Bright. Annoying. Incessant.
He must’ve forgotten to draw the curtain before collapsing on his bed, he thinks. He gets up begrudgingly—
He emerges from the depths of electric green.
"Welcome back, Gray Son."
