Despite the attack launched by the Crown on any religions other than the Seven, Eldred Greyjoy did not decide to join the side of the rebels, instead more concerned with infighting among the ironborn. His daughter Melina, against his wishes, took her ships to support the efforts of the Starks.
Knowing many of the people within his domain practiced the religion of the Old Gods, Thomas Tully was quick to answer the call of the Starks.
The first of the Great Houses to join the Crown, Alicent Tyrell was granted the title of Master of Laws by the queen. She has been assigned guardianship of young Donnel Arryn while he remains in King’s Landing.

“Why would you want to be anything else?”
Not the answer she was hoping for. But considering the lateness of the hour and the sleep-blurred voice suggesting she might have pulled him right out of REM sleep that was… surprisingly coherent as far as answers went.
“You remember her, right?” she presses, because what she just got wasn’t exactly an answer. “She was real. A werewolf, but she always gave pure unicorn vibes and then I went and asked her for help because I couldn’t think of anyone else to ask and everything went wrong from there…”
“And now we’re fixing it,” interrupts the voice on the other side of the line.
“But are we? Is anything we’re doing actually going to help her at all?”
A question she really tried not to ask herself too often – let alone out loud – and now here it was, out in the open.
“I’m not really trying to help her. Just doing what I’m told. Your mastermind energy makes you really hard to refuse,” Pugsley tells her and that’s… another thing that might have been better off staying unspoken. “If that’s what she meant by you being yourself I think she might be… proud of you?”

The story, at least the beginning, takes place in a personal interpretation of the Lands Between before the Shattering. The plan is for it to continue into Shadow of the Erdtree, so be warned about potential spoilers.
These are meant mostly as personal comfort fanfics, as the other main character is a self insert, but I wanted to see what other people may think of them. This is also the first ever fanfiction I've written.
