She opens her mouth to say something, but it doesn't come out. Then she tries again. "After- after our battle. In the Deep Docks. You won in our duel and I- The Citadel. I went back to the Citadel."
Hornet looks her in the eyes, trying to find a sign, any sign, that this was a joke. A horrible, cruel joke, but just a joke nonetheless. But there is none of Lace's telltale signs when she lies to be found on her face. "You do not... remember our confrontation at the flower field either, then."
