Arisoto was everyone’s leader, but Junpei lost Chidori and Akihiko lost Aragaki—and Kirijou probably could’ve understood it too, but she’s always had Yukari there for her more than anyone else, and…
All Junpei’s saying is he wasn’t going to cuddle with Kirijou. He understands where Akihiko’s coming from! It had seemed an ideal arrangement at the time Junpei made it. And it’s not like he’s unhappy about it now; far from it. It’s just that the horrible rhythm his heart keeps making in his chest whenever Akihiko’s in the same room as him these days is incredibly distracting.
A pain in the ass, mainly because they live together, which means that Akihiko is usually in the same room as him.

“I have a new recipe for you to try.”
“Coffee this time?” Shinjiro asks dryly, as well as rhetorically. He knows it isn’t. Kurusu gives him a weird tongue-in-teeth smile (weird because it makes Shinjiro’s chest do something funny) and turns around, collecting the ladle off the side of the pot of curry that simmers behind the counter. It does smell good, admittedly. Shinjiro likes to cook, but even if he didn’t, he’s always been an enjoyer of foods, just generally. It doesn’t bother him, that Kurusu thinks to test new recipes or flavour combinations on Shinjiro, especially since he usually serves it on the house in exchange for Shinjiro’s feedback.
It does, however, feel a little counter intuitive to the store’s main purpose, which is as a coffee shop. At least, Shinjiro had thought that was it. He truly knows very little about the French, so maybe coffee and curry as a combination is in the name, and Shinjiro just doesn’t get it. Who could say, really.
