“How?” She asked, refusing his ambiguity.
Percy ran both hands through his hair with a huff.
Annabeth seethed, her fingernails digging into her palms. She stood and walked toward him. "You don't get to act annoyed with me right now. Not when I spent the last year scared out of my mind that I would lose you. Let alone spending your last few months with someone else!"
He covered his face and ran his hands through his hair once more. “I can’t do this right now.”
Annabeth stepped forward, bridging the gap between them so they were nose-to-nose. She challenged him in a single whisper, "I need you to."

Buck searched Eddie’s eyes for something—what that was, Eddie was unsure of, but he must have found it—before he started speaking. “…It’s the warmth of it. Having it on your face feels weirdly comforting. It’s also like an accomplishment. It covers my face and I can’t help but think to myself “Hell yeah, I did that. Look at how much I made him come” and…” Buck paused, searching Eddie’s face again. Eddie nodded encouragingly at Buck. “A-and there is this sort of primal thing to it, you know. Like, uh, being marked—claimed. Belonging to somebody. Then licking it off can be a lot of fun for both parties.”
Eddie wants to understand Buck's enjoyment of facials. Buck is willing to give him what he wants.
