         Not trying to be obstructive, but I'm not signed up on any of these services, so my experience may differ. (Am I the only luddite? Possibly.)
         So here is my experience, tested just now, with these services:
         Anchor: Requires sign up or login before doing anything else
         Spotify: Same
         Soundcloud: ...More button/Download file leads to, you guessed it, sign up or login before doing anything else
         (This may be new. Didn't work this way previously, I don't think.)
         Archive.org: Taking this link didn't work at all for a long time. Now it goes to the site, but first you had to sign up. Then I tried CompassRose's link, https://archive.org/details/cot1complete, and got to the podcast. AND several, free download options.
         I AM SUCH A HAPPY CAMPER! Downloaded mp3, about to put it on my player and wander off to sew with new, lovely podfic in my grateful ears. Thank you all for getting me to the right spot for me. 💜💙💚💛❤️

          Well, what's deserved is deserved! As I equally appreciate Aziraphale's posh and gay undertones, which make him so...Aziraphale! I must admit that Crowley, without a sssssslip of tongue here and there, especially when nervous, drunk or emotionally pressured, is gold. I couldn't imagine a better way to present him.

                It's impossible, at least for me, not to focus on tiny things, which are indeed the core and the heart of the work itself! What we don't see, we live through your voices, and I couldn't hope for a better result. I may not comment everything and everytime, since I usually listen while working on my dull, bureaucratic job, but I let them sink in, and live them.
                I must toss my coin also for the intimacy scenes....a word Iris uses often and aptly for them is UNDONE.
                And this is how I see them, in these moments, through your voice acting.

       Hi, karuna! irisbleufic's note on the written version says that these outtakes are missing scenes that didn't quite seem to fit the flow of the chapter. (I believe many of the early chapters of this were originally written as more or less standalone shorts in the CoT universe.) But they've been reinserted into the larger work (where in context they now appear to flow quite smoothly). It's the extended director's cut, as it were.

             That would be fun! But no. We might have chosen a confusing way to set this up, but we wanted the chapters to correspond to the written ones. The link is to the same audio file, which includes all three chapters together. (Podfixx does introduce each one as she comes to it after the music break.)

                Looking at the chapter titles in the chapter-navigation page of the fic itself may help clarify this, too. The outtakes were indeed scenes that I either posted or wrote slightly after the fact of the larger parts they slot into. At the time, it was being posted to LJ as I was writing it, and LJ’s posting interface resulted in stories and ficlets being posted as separate entities that were usually end-linked together. I tried to present it here on AO3 as it was appearing in posts over there.

          In truth, each chapter, most of the time, is actually a story in CoT as a series. When I transferred things from LJ to AO3, I didn’t feel that presenting them as a bunch of disjointed, separate AO3 works (even unified under an AO3 series-umbrella) was the best way of presenting them. I wanted people to be able to read a bit more continuously.

    I've just got to this point in the podrama, and I'm amazed by the ability and dedication and sheer love that the team is bringing to the writer's words and their inspiration in Good Omens. I could listen to Podfixx narrate the ingredients of a cereal box and consider myself lucky, and adding a cast of voices highlights the balance of narration and dialogue so well. Agree with Pat, above: "Thanks for inserting the outtakes into the main body of chapter 2." Thanks to all for this mega project: I suspect it could keep anyone company on a transcontinental drive!

       Thank you Pat ! It was a pleasure to illustrate this short chapter I really love. One might think that nothing of importance really unfolds in it but I feel like it deals with something fascinating to experience : being thrown back in (or out of) time, thanks to some outstanding experience - here the flood/Flood. I live in Paris and sometimes when I wander the streets of the city at night I'm not sure to be in the 21 century anymore - I feel out of time. That liminal feeling is one of a kind... I guess that for two immortals with such a rich story, this feeling of timelesness must be experienced quite often !

    Firstly, outstanding artwork, BratofA. I love the double portraits of Crowley and Aziraphale in the present with their 1488 selves reflected in the mirror. Also the facial expressions tell a story of their own, and the centerpiece of the rope. Well done.

    Second the chapter itself carried me back to a history classroom from DECADES ago as I congratulated myself on immediately knowing what was happening in Spain and then wondering if that period is even taught now and if your young(er) listeners knew what the Spanish Inquisition was. Then I settled down and simply enjoyed Angel and Demon as they navigated the hills and valleys of intimacy and being in love. Thanks for a lovely interlude.

       At the time I wrote this fic series, more specifically at the time I wrote this chapter, I feel like most readers regardless of their ages did know what the Inquisition is. What’s always been a consistent surprise is whether or not readers have heard of the precise torture methods being used. One of the academic hats I wear is being a scholar of the Late Medieval/Early Modern world. Much like Crowley, there are times I wish I didn’t know so many of the details (thanks to my studies, of course, and not having literally been there, haha).
