Chapter 1: Return to Blackwater
Summary:
2 years after the Shadow Wars, Darwin, Violet and Blue return to Blackwater to rescue Mike Wazowski from the law, who is mistakenly accused of being identified as "The Inquisitor".
Chapter Text
It's been 2 years since the Shadow Wars. A war fought for control over the land of Mordor. A conflict that determined the balance of power for neither the Bright Lord and the Dark Lord. And now that the Teen titans, (who were brought back from the dead), the traitorous elf lord Celebrimbor and Sauron himself are now imprisoned for eternity, the War is finally over. Now the ranger of the black gate, Talion, who is now free to join his family. And as for the Furious Squad.....they went home. As did the Fearless Squadron and the rest of the members of the Bright Horde...
Everyone went their separate ways. And now, as the Bright Horde has moved on, so did the other worlds. Outlaws swarm across the western regions while pirates raid royal seas as the law expands their territory across many lands. Now the big question is....
What happens next?
Blackwater
People from all over town are gathering for something. Something that is very common in the age of outlaws and piracy. And something that all man likes to see for a typical daily basis. Which is a hanging. As everyone gathered to court, they cheer on as the police escort the defendant and prisoner. Which appears to be a small round green monster with one eye. This monster appears to be Mike Wazowski, who appears to have been brought here for something that he either did, or was accused of doing. Either way the crowd is eager to see him hang just for the spectacle. Mike however, nervously protested, claiming that he is innocent. As the cop drags him to the accused clerk, he stands before the judge, as he prepares to begin the trial. However, Mike looks at the judge who looks very familiar. The judge puts on his glasses and reveals himself.
"Well," said the Judge. "What do we have here."
The judge appears wearing a wig and fancy clothing. However, this judge appears be orange, and is a resemblance to a fish. wearing a wig. Which means that it could only be one person that he remembers met two years ago.
"Darwin?" said Mike.
The cop hits Mike with his rifle, making him wince in pain as the crowd cheers on. The jury however, whisper among themselves acting a little suspicous.
"Not necessarily," said Darwin. "You were saying...."
Mike looks at the cop, who is ready to hit him again. He complys.
"Inquisitor is not my name," Mike protests. "My name is Mike Wazowski!!"
The crowd shouts in disbelief. Eager for the judge to sentence him.
"Is that so," Darwin rebukes.
He looks at the papers that were lend to him by the jury.
"It says Blackbeard here, is it not?"
"I told him, I'm not the Inquisitor," said Mike. "Who I would happily Identify to the court if it would help my case!!"
"I'd believe that would be a very bad defense on your behalf," Darwin smirked. "Unless if you want the cop here to hit you again like a pig."
The crowd cheers on as Mike looks at the cop nervously. While hoping that Darwin knows what he's doing and not trying to sell him out to the law. Darwin however, looks at the jury. Who are unaware that the judge here is actually Darwin himself in disguise. They easily bought that trick.
"The defendant here has claimed to be innocent of being the Inquisitor," said Darwin. "How do you find, sir?"
A juror stands up.
"Your honor, the defendant's claims are relevent...." said the juror. "As i would like to present the evidence....."
Darwin interrupts him.
"Formant, you're finding," said Darwin. "Guilty, or not guilty?"
"Guilty verdict means he'll hang," said another juror.
That statement gets the crowd fired up. Who want to see the hanging so bad, which scares Mike. As the crowd shouts "Hang Him!" or "Strings him up!". Darwin however, looks on, to see if the jury make their decision.
"Guilty," said the lead juror.
"Come on!!" shouted Mike.
Darwin pounds the hammer.
"Mike Wazowski, the crime that you're found guilty of is to being the inquisitor," said Darwin.
Mike glares at Darwin. It looks like he's about to sell him out. Darwin, winks his eye.
"I hereby commute your sentence," said Darwin.
Mike smiles. He wasn't going to sell him out like that.
"And ordered that you'd be imprisoned for 20 years......."
Darwin pounds the hammer. As the police escort him out of the courtroom with the crowd disappointed by this sentence as they expected a hanging.
Meanwhile, Darwin exits the courtroom and takes off his disguise. He walks down the hallway and towards the judge's room. He knocks quielty.
"We got him," said Darwin. "You can come out now."
Suddenly, the door opens, which appears to be two old friends of Darwin. Violet and Blue, who were watching over the real judge, who is tied up to a chair shaking as the velociraptor glares at him.
"About time," said Violet. "Blue was just about to eat him."
"Well, it won't be long before the cops spot us," said Darwin. "Now let's go get Mike before we get arrested."
Violet and Blue exit the room as Darwin looks at the now tied-up judge.
"Thank you, and sorry about that sir," Darwin said.
He closes the door.
The cop escorts Mike to a wagon waiting for him. All of a sudden,
WHAM!!
The cop drop down knocked out cold. Mike looks behind him and smiles, as his friend come to free him.
"Boy, I'm glad to see you," said Mike.
Darwin pulls out his lightsaber and slices the cuffs in half, freeing Mike's arms.
"Anything for a friend," said Darwin. "Now, let's go."
Darwin and Mike make a run for it, before any of the cops see him. As they run across a street from the courthouse, Darwin spots another wagon as Violet and Blue wait for them.
"Violet, Blue.....what are you guys doing here?" said Mike.
"Busting you out," said Violet. "We paid this driver take us out of town."
"That's better than being in a prison wagon," said Mike.
"Yeah of course, now let's get inside and get out of here," said Darwin.
The trio hop inside the passenger seat, taking Mike with them. And the driver of the wagon whips drives them off the streets of Blackwater as the cops look all over town for the fugitive. Inside the wagon, Mike was relieved. Glad to be out of prison and not having to worry about being hung or worse. The trio however, looked at each other. Violet gives Darwin a thumbs up. Mission accomplished.
"How did you know i was here," said Mike.
"We didn't," said Darwin. "We just heard some rumors about a hanging and there was some talk about "Inquisitor in the gallows" and what did we find?"
"You can say that again," said Mike. "Anyway, why are you guys out in Blackwater."
Darwin and Violet looked at each other.
"I guess we have a lot to talk about once were far away from this," said Violet.
Blue caws.

Chapter Text
Valentine......
In the saloon, everyone inside was doing their normal business. Picking fights, drinking, dancing, having a good time. Typically things weren't so different around here. Especially since the world moved on from the war. No one has ever seen the Starz Gang for two years, since the gang went their separate ways. And now that the war is over, here they are. Darwin Violet and Mike sat by the bar talking while Blue looks around for anyone suspicious.
"So how did you guys find each other?" asked Mike.
"Blue came to my house one night, after I looked at the internet about this mountain, and we both found Violet at her school," Darwin explained. "And let me tell you, it wasn't easy."
"Shoot, I had to sneak out my bathroom window at school," said Violet. "I'm surprised nobody even noticed."
Violet crossed her arms.
"And you're telling me, that you three are heading towards some mythical mountain?" asked Mike.
"Oh, not just any mountain," said Darwin. "THE mountain. Mount Maelstrom."
"Never heard of it," said Mike.
"Well, I heard that the mountain is made by the sea goddess herself Calypso," said Violet. "To show her dominance over mankind and to secure her status as ruler of the sea."
"Really?" Mike raised an eyebrow.
"It's true, we looked it up," said Darwin.
"How long have you been planning this for?" asked Mike.
"A while," said Darwin. "The Starz Gang's disbanded, and Violet and I wanted to take this time to get a few of us back together. But everyone else moved on, so....here we are."
"And you want me, to help you find this mountain," said Mike.
"No," said Darwin. "We want to help you find the mountain."
Blue chirps in response.
Mike crossed his arms.
"And what makes you think that I can help you find the mountain," said Mike.
Darwin raised a cup, and pointed at him.
"Because I think you know where it is," said Darwin.
Mike scoffs.
"Oh really," said Mike.
Violet raises an eyebrow.
"That compass you have would say otherwise," said Violet.
Mike eye widened, and he slowly takes out an old compass.
"How did you know about my compass?" asked Mike.
"We heard rumors," said Darwin.
Mike looks at the compass.
"I bought it before I got arrested," said Mike. "They say that it points to whatever anyone wants."
Darwin twirls his cup.
"And I think we both know what you want most," said Darwin.
Mike gives him a stern look. Though part of him thinks that Darwin has a point. He may be wanting to go to the mountain just as they do. And if he's gonna head to the mountain, he can't go there alone. Not without someone that could help him.
"Okay, I'll help you get there," said Mike. " But if we do this, we do this together."
"We shall be the first ones to reach to the top of that mountain," said Darwin. "Mark my words."
He raises his cup.
"Now, who's up for an adventure," said Darwin.
"Together," said Violet and Mike, as they raise their cups.
The trio clash their cups and drink up. Then bang their cups, declaring the beginning of a long journey.
"So, where do we start?" asked Darwin.
"There's a ship across Lake bravo," said Mike. "We ride from there and hopefully the sailor won't leave without us."
"That's a tall order," said Violet. "We're gonna have to......."
Then suddenly, Violet starts to feel. a little sleepy. Which startles Darwin, as Blue looks in concern.
"Are you okay Vi?" asked Mike.
"Yeah I'm fine," said Violet. "I just feel.:
Then suddenly, Violet faints down on the ground attracting attention. Just then, Mike and Blue faint as well. But as Darwin felt woozy, he looks at the cup and sees a familiar color in the drink.
"Nightshade," Darwin whispers, before passing out as well.
As Darwin blinks, he sees two thugs standing right over them.
Then everything went black....

Unknown......
Darwin feels a thud as he's pushed off of a swinging bed.
"Show a leg sailor!!" shouted a voice.
"Yes Sir!" he complied.
He looks down with confusion. he has no idea where's he is and is being commanded by someone he doesn't know. Something is wrong. Very wrong.
As Darwin gets up, he sees other sailors being awakened by the officers. Who look mean and ugly. Like if they were thugs. Darwin quickly spots Violet and Mike who were escorted by the thugs, along with a few prisoners. One of them was a girl dressed up like a warrior in a gray cloak with a crossbow on her arm and another was a chubby boy. (Who doesn't look like he's to mess with). And another was a little girl dressed in a girl's scout outfit.
"There's been a horrible mistake," said Darwin.
"Keep moving," replied a red-headed girl. She sounds Scottish.
"We're not supposed to be here," said Mike.
"Many of us woke up at sea, no idea when and where, neither the night before," said the warrior girl. "That's another side effect of nightshade."
"No, no you don't understand," said Darwin. "I'm Darwin Watterson. The Inquisitor, the Vanguard of the Horde. Remember."
"Marcy Wu," said the Warrior girl. "These are Clevelend Jr and Isabella. Now keep moving."
They put out mops and start mopping the floors. Darwin mops with Isabella below deck. He looks behind him and sees Blue inside a cage along with three other animals in their cages. The first cage holds a young adult Dalmatian with a black patch in his right eye, and a black ear in his left ear. The dog lies down, exhausted. And the second cage holds a young male lion, who tries clawing through the bars. Which are to no avail. And there's the third cage holding Blue, who is pacing. Darwin looks at Isabella.
"psst...."
That caught Isabella's attention. Darwin nods his head, and she comes close.
"Why are there three cages?" asked Darwin.
"Do I look like I'm in charge," said Isabella. "I'm just a fireside girl."
"Where are we?" asked Darwin. "What is this place."
Isabella looks both ways checking her surroundings. And then looks at Darwin.
"Excuse me, sir," said Isabella. "But, I would like you to welcome aboard, the famous pirate ship for all time. The Jolly Roger."
That line confirmed Darwin's suspicion. His eyes widen as if he knew the one pirate who is the captain of the Jolly Roger. A legendary pirate is said to be one of the most ruthless pirates everyone has ever seen. A pirate that everyone fears and hates the most.
"Hook........"
it turns out that they're in the Jolly Roger, a pirate ship painted in red with white sails. The ship has 32 cannons for weaponry. And a crew with one of the most ruthless pirates ever told.
Speaking of ruthless, one pirate, the bosun whips Merida as she and Violet are forced to scrub the floor, which is for
"He's a curious one," said Violet.
"That's Starkey," said Marcy.
"What?" asked Violet.
"Starkey," replied Marcy. "One of the hook's mates. Pirate rankings. Most of those officers are the same. Except they're more compliant....."
Before she can finish, Starkey whips her again. Before he turns to Violet, who looks down understanding why she should be afraid.
"Come on," said Cleveland Jr. Who is also scrubbing. "Scrub."
"Yes sir," said Violet and Marcy.
And they kept scrubbing.
As the ship sails, more crew members who are low ranked pull ropes and sails. They pull with all of their might as the high-ranking crew members whip some of them to keep them going faster. Which is almost like slavery in Egypt, except those are sailors being whipped by pirates. However, Darwin figures that they should be going to the mountain, not waste much time with a bunch of pirates. But a part of him is that they're in the ship captained by Captain Hook. Which implies that he might need them for something big.
"Seven days underway," said Darwin. "And we could be heading to the mountain."
"You guys can tell that by the sea?" asked Isabella.
"No," said Darwin.
As he pulls more ropes, he spots someone. A girl about their age. Tied up below the mast.
"Hey, what did that poor girl do?" asked Darwin.
"Her," said Isabella. "I heard stories that her kingdom was attacked. And Hook took her from the king. It might be something that he wants from her."
"The first mate said that she's the key to something," said Clevelend Jr.
"First mate?" asked Darwin.
"Yeah, he said need her to find it," he said "she's our only hope of catching Peter Pan," he said," said Cleveland Jr. "
Darwin thought a bit. Maybe he can learn from Hook's first mate. Mr. Smee. Maybe he can find out why he's here and what Captain Hook wants from them. But whatever it is, something, the pirate is up to something. And it does not look good for them.

Chapter 4: Hook's Evil Scheme
Summary:
During the crew's night duty, Darwin spies on Captain Hook as he talks to Mr. Smee about his plans. From that moment, Darwin also finds out that Hook is also in search for the mountain for something very secret.
Chapter Text
Jolly Roger
As the crew settles in for the night, Darwin sees this as an opportunity to find out what Captain Hook is up to. So, sneaks out of the crew's quarters. And heads towards the captain's cabin. Sneaking by pirates patrolling the ship. As he slowly makes his way to the captain's cabin, he approaches the window and looks very carefully.
"What are you up to now?" Darwin whispered.
At the captain's cabin, Captain Hook sits at his desk, absorbing a map while puffing his pipe. He vents his frustration about his times with Peter Pan. The boy who cut out his hand and fed it to the crocodile, who had been chasing him since then. For years he's been chasing that boy, and it's been a waste of time for him and his crew. But now, it appears that Captain Hook is up to something. Darwin looks at the window and watches him vent his frustration.
"Blast that peter pan," hook cursed. "Every time I collect treasure, he'd steal it from my grasp Now, if I could find that treasure horde, I'd be the richest pirate in the seas! But if only I had the key."
"Treasure Horde?" whispered Darwin. "Key?" He kept listening as Hook looks at the map.
"Now, where is it?" Hook muttered.
He absorbs the map, looking for a heading. The map shows marked locations with many islands.
"Now, let's see," said Hook. "Seagull lagoon?"
He blows.
"Now, we searched that.....Viking cove....Ha Here!"
He points at a location called Whitecap Bay.
"No! No no no, that's mermaid territory," said Hook. "The savage ones! The key couldn't possibly be there!"
Hook thought for a moment, puffing his pipe. But then thought of an idea.
"Yes," smirked Hook. "The girl we kidnapped is part mermaid. Ah, I wonder...."
"Whitecap Bay," whispered Darwin. "Of course, that's why they need that girl in the mast. But what about the key?" He looks on as he hears a door open.
Mr. Smee, Hook's trusted first mate (as Merida told him) comes in with a bottle of rum in his hand as he greets his captain.
"Good evening captain.." said Smee.
Suddenly, Hook grabs Smee by his shirt with Joy in his eyes.
"I got it!" exclaimed Hook. "Melody, Smee!"
"M....M..M..Melody, sir?" Smee whimpered.
"The queen's daughter," said Hook. "She's half mermaid. If we can use her to distract those savages, we'll be able to see if the key is there!"
"But, but, how can she help us sir?" asked Smee.
"Oh, a little diversion, Smee," said Hook, with a glee.
"With, all due respect...sir," said Smee. "Even if we have the key, we don't know if the d-d-d-d-d. dragon Smaug is in there, and he'll guard his plunder as long as he lives!"
"Dragon," whispered Darwin. "Smaug? But, he's dead." He was told that Smaug was dead two years ago. Looks like there's more to the story. He kept looking, hearing the conversation, and trying to find out what else hook is up to.
"Aye, the beast hasn't been seen in years," said Hook. "And I will not let some beast stop me from collecting that treasure!"
Smee's hands hook the bottle of rum as Hook absorbs his map.
"Well, all say, captain," said Smee. "It's only a matter of time before the Jackdaw finds out about that treasure, hehe."
Hook looks with an intimidating look on his face. The word "Jackdaw" got his attention.
"Aye...those west coast pirates," said Hook. " I heard stories about them. They say that they sunk a large convoy in the royal navy. Plundering their ships, and leaving nothing behind. And only one man lives, to tell the tales. They have been said to be ruthless cutthroats, that show no mercy! It's only a matter of time before they find out about the mountain!"
Darwin hears the conversation. He finds it fascinating about the legend of the Jackdaw pirates, but what got him concerned is that there are pirates that even Hook fears. But what shook him is that they're heading to the same place where he's heading. Mount Maelstrom, the mountain in Isla De Mar. Now, it all leads to one thing that got into Darwin's mind. Why do they need him? He looks on as Hook made his decision with this suicide plan,
Hook gets up from his seat.
"No Matter," said Hook. "We must find that mountain before those pirates do. Mr. Smee, ready my coat and pipe up the crew. W"
"Aye sir," said Smee.
He gets Hook's coat and puts it on for him as Hook puts on his hat.
"And the inquisitor?" asked Smee. "
"Oh, the Inquisitor," said Hook. "He'll lead us to the mountain, one way or another. Even if I have to gut the living fish out of him!"
Darwin steps away from the window.
"Oh no," muttered Darwin.
That was the moment Darwin understood why Hook wanted him and what he was up too. Hook and his cronies are heading to the mountain, and Hook needed him to guide him to the mountain. But to get inside, they need the key, which is located in whitecap bay. Which is full of mermaids, who grow savagely feral and will drag a man down to the bottom of the ocean, and devour them. And what's worse, is that Smaug the terrible, the dragon from the northern middle earth, and one of Sauron's trusted companions, is inside that mountain. But during the Shadow Wars, it had been told that he perished in Lithlad, taken by a were-worm called "The Rumbler". But it appears that the dragon has somehow survived that attack and is now hiding inside that mountain. It would be a death sentence for the entire crew. But knowing a pirate's desire for treasure, Darwin knew that they couldn't get out of it.
"I have to do something," said Darwin. "
Darwin returns to the crew's quarters to warn the crew of Hook's plan. He must act before Hook will damn the entire crew to hell. If not to face the savagery of those mermaids, but the wrath of the dragon Smaug as well.

Chapter Text
At sea.....
Somewhere around the sea, coffins were floating across the waters. These coffins were thrown in the sea, to carry the dead out in open water, which is what people would do if there are no proper graves. Seagulls swarm around the floating coffins as they float down to the open waters. Suddenly, one seagull flies towards one coffin. And starts pecking on it to see if something inside is still alive. The seagull pecks multiple times. Then all of a sudden...
BOOM!
The seagull blows up into a million pieces, which came from inside the coffin. The hole opens, which appears to be an arm of a pirate, holding a pistol in his hand. He points at his surroundings, to see if anyone else is around. But there is no one there. Then suddenly, the pirate pops out of the coffin, which appears to be a small boy. A boy with black eyes, light brown skin, shaggy black hair, with a scar on his left eye. He wears a blue shirt covered in silver armor plating, a belt buckle, black gloves, and a red cloak.
The boy looks at his surroundings, then he puts on a black hat.
"Sorry bro," said the boy.
He pulls out a skeletal arm.
"Might have made a little side trip."
He uses that to row himself to sea.
The boy has reached his destination. Which appears to be a pirate ship with royal blue sails. The Jackdaw (A frigate that once belonged to Captain Edward Kenway, until the end of the war against piracy.) As he arrives at the ship, his trusted first mate Butters Scotch was waiting for him.
"Welcome Back Max," greeted Butters.
"That's Captain Max, butter," he corrected.
"Uh, sorry sir," he apologized.
As Butters lends Max a hand, he gives him the skeletal arm, in which Butters drops in disgust. Then another one of his mates approaches. A boy in an orange parka named Kenny Mccormick, his second mate.
"Everything going to plan eh," said Kenny.
"There were little complications that ensured," said Max. "Damn red coats."
"So, did you get what you came for?" Kenny asked.
"Mmmhmm."
Max pulls out a piece of clothing, but as he turns around, he sees his entire crew members, (Red Mcarthur, Token Black, Nichole Daniels, Clyde Donovan, Heidi Turner, Scott Malkinson, Sophie Gray, David Rodriguez, Mark Cotswold, Sally Darson, Bradley Biggle, Heather Williams, and a few other random kids) staring at him with scowls on their faces. They don't look happy at all, and they don't look mad either. Max just stares at the crew. Confused.
"Is there something wrong lads?" asked Max.
Butters steps up and spoke weakly.
"Captain, the crew... even myself included were expecting something more....shiny...."
"You're damn right," said Token. "While we were been busy plundering for over a couple of months, here we are just collecting rum for treasure."
Token holds a bottle of rum as crew members muttered to each other.
"And let's not forget the royal navy has been on our asses," said Red.
"Not to mention a freakin' tornado," said Mark.
"With all due respect captain, all we've been doing is the same old business of looting ships," said Nichole.
"And all and all, we've been doing the same old things and I hadn't gotten to see what a jewel looks like," said Clyde.
Max stared at the crew with a deadpan. And there was a moment of silence. He leans closer to Butters.
"Shiny, you said," said Max.
"Yes, shiny, sir," said Butters.
He turns to the crew, with his arms crossed.
"And your point lads?" asked Max.
"Show us what's that piece of clothing in your hand," said Bradley, pointing at the clothing on Max's pocket.
Max takes a deep breath, slowly preparing to show his crew what he had gotten in the coffin.
"Okay, what I'm about to show you is something that'll make you interested," said Max.
The crew looked at each other, puzzled about this question but eager to find out what he means.
"A key?" asked Sally.
"No," said Max. "Even better."
He uncovers a piece of clothing, which turns out to be something more than what the crew had expected. In the piece of clothing was a sketch of an old map that was written in ancient times.
"A map," said Max.
The clothing shows a map. The crew looks in awe, as Max stares down.
"Lads......what do maps do?" said Max.
The crew remains silent.
"Maps...lead to things?" Sophie guessed.
"And that map may lead us to something really valuable," said Butters, as he mashes his fingers. "So, we use that map to find whatever it leads us?"
"Precisely," said Max. "You see, you'll get the "shiny" things you desire, as I said."
"But you said that before we looted that English ship," said Token. "And all we got is rum."
Token pulls out an empty bottle of rum in his hand as the crew nod, clearly disappointed of what they got during their last raid.
"Aye," Max sighed "But this one is different."
The crew looked at each other as Max turns to Heidi Turner, the crew's navigator, trusted advisor, and another close friend of Max's.
"Heidi, do we have a heading?" asked Max.
Heidi examines the map. But the clothing is too wet for him to absorb it, but he's able to get a heading. Or, at least what she thinks,
"According to this map, we should be heading North," said Heidi.
"Alright then, onto your stations' lads," Max ordered.
The crew rushes to their stations, leaving Max alone with Kenny, Butters, Red, and Nichole, his trusted mates who are hopeful that their captain said is true. But are also
"So, this map of yours is different right?" asked Nichole.
"Aye," said Max. "Otherwise we'd be at the gallows in England ready to be hung."
Kenny raised an eyebrow.
"In the meantime, I'll be in my headquarters," said Max.
Captain's Cabin...
Max is now at his desk, examining the map. This map is ripped in half, showing half of the destination. Which is very frustrating. Max and his crew had been searching for treasure for a very long time and there's still nothing. It's like any pirate's desire for treasure is very common, but this is very important for Max. And with the crew getting hungry for treasure, who knows? They may start to doubt him as captain. But this is nonsense because they've been sailing across the seas together and everyone on the crew knows their captain very well. They trusted him, looked up to him and they believed him. And in return, he must not disappoint them.
Overwhelmed in stress, Max picks up a bottle of rum, which is now empty.
"Darn it," he cursed. "What is it with the rum being gone?"
He gets up from his desk, grabbed his gear, and went outside his cabin to grab some more rum.
On deck.....
While the crew was off duty, Max leans on the left side at the upper deck, staring at the moon horizon. He drinks another bottle of rum, relieving himself from the stress. This whole pirate's life just wasn't the same. A pirate's life used to be a life of freedom and adventure. Where pirates can loot ships, collect treasure, and sail across the seas. But now with the royal navy taking over, more pirates were either killed or pardoned. Max and the crew were once fourth-graders in South Park Elementary School until things had changed and now here they are. Life of pirates and life of freedom. But now these days are becoming numbered.
As he goes for another drink.....
"Hey, captain..."
That made Max jump, almost dropping the bottle into the ocean, but he catches it. He then turns to see Butters and Nichole at the stairs.
"Ah, Butters, Nichole," he said.
He leans at the rail facing his two mates.
"Can we talk to you for a wee second?" asked Butters.
"Sure anything," said Max. "And what do I owe the pleasure of your carbuncle?"
"Captain, how long can we go like this?" asked Nichole.
"How do you mean," replied Max.
"We've been doing the same old thing for months," said Butters. "The Crew's growing restless. Even I'm getting restless. We ain't got much treasure over those past months and I'm still waiting for the damn gold."
"We've been going in circles and we found nothing," said Nichole.
"What are you saying?" asked Max.
"I'm saying that what if this map gets us nowhere?" asked Nichole.
Max looks down.
"Maybe it will, maybe it won't," said Max.
Butters and Nichole joined him as they watch the horizon.
"You know, I miss the old days," said Butters. "Like when we used to hang over those beaches. And watch the sun.:"
Max chuckles.
"Good times," said Max.
"Maybe we can give it a try, once this is over," said Nichole.
Max looks at Nichole, raising an eyebrow.
"You think so," said Max.
"Well who knows," said Nichole. "If you're right about where this map leads there could be a whole room full of treasure."
Max nods in agreement.
"Oh don't even get me started," pouted Butters. "Once I get my hands on that treasure, I'll be as rich as a king! Shoot, We'll all be rich as King George, and when I'm rich......"
Max chuckles as Butter keeps ranting about his undesirable need for treasure, which is typically Butters being Butters, something that nobody cares about, not even Max.
Nichole elbows Max, getting his attention.
"Check it out," said Nichole.
He looks to his left and sees Kenny at the lower deck, with Red as they watch the moon horizon as well, as Kenny Max looks at the two with wonder. Both Kenny and Red had become very close during their voyages. And Max begins to wonder how is it that they've become so close.
"Hey guys," said Max. "Have these two been dating?"
"Dating?" Butters jumped.
"What do you mean that dating?" Nichole questioned.
"I don't know," Max sighed. "It's just I haven't them so close before."
"Yeah well, it must've been after we named you captain," said Nichole.
"Heh, no kidding," said Max. "Well, I guess maybe once this is over and we have all the treasure, maybe we can give it a try. And who knows, maybe Kenny can retire and have to spend a little bit more time with Red."
Butters and Nichole both turned a Max, who gives a small smirk to them.
"Guys, we'll find the treasure," said Max. "And we'll get through this. We're a team now and we're in this together."
"You promise?" asked Nichole.
"I promise," said Max.
As the pirates look onto the horizon......
"Captain Hook Ahoy!"
Max heard this, then called to his sail master Clyde, who is above the mast.
"Fire away Clyde!"
"Jolly Roger, starboard bow," said Clyde, pointing.
Max takes out his spyglass and looks ahead at the starboard side of the ship. He spots the Jolly Roger, which is miles ahead of the Jackdaw. He snarls with a glee and in hate, having to face this ship before.
"By the sea gods, it's Hook!"
He turns to Butters and gives out his orders.
"Butters, Pipe up the crew!"
"Aye, sir!"
Butters runs off. Max turns to Kenny and Red on the lower deck.
"Kenny, signal Token and hard to starboard."
"Aye, sir!"
Kenny runs off as well.
"Red, I want the sailors at the full canvas."
"Aye, sir!"
Red runs off to signal the sailors. Max turns to Nichole, who was awaiting orders.
"Nichole, I need you to tell Lola and Jenny to ready the guns."
"Aye, sir!"
Nichole runs off.
"All Hands on deck!!" shouted Butters. "All hands on deck!
The crew members ran to their positions as Butters blows his whistle. They scattered around the deck of the ship as they got to their stations following orders.
"Hoist the colors you blooming cockroaches!" shouted Red.
The sailors below the mast hoisted the ship's sails and the
"Ready the guns!" shouted Nichole.
The ship's gunners placed the cannons at the position as they sail towards the Jolly Roger. While Max looks at the enemy ship with his spyglass, eyeing at his prize.
"Await further orders," said Max.
He looks on. Suspicious about the situation that they got themselves into. What is Hook doing around this area? But that does not matter for now. What matters is how to deal with the most malicious pirate in the seas.
"Alright, Hook," said Max. "What are you up to now?"

Chapter Text
Jolly Roger
At the lower deck of the Crew's quarters, Darwin and the gang gather around with the other crewmates. While the animals in cages watch on and listen
"The topic, ladies and gentlemen......is mutiny," said Darwin.
He blows a match.
"Mutiny is most cruel. But, this may be our chance."
"I agree," said Isabella. "I didn't sign up to serve that filthy pirate."
"And an old man at that," the dog, who is also revealed to be named Patch.
"There's been a failed mention to each and every one of us," said Cleveland Jr. "I think they're hiding something from us."
"There are," said Darwin. "
As the crew whispers amongst each other, Marcy Wu comes in from the door carrying weapons for them to defend themselves. Weapons that were from Hook's armory that she smuggled during shore leave. Including swords, axes, and maces.
"I got them," said Marcy, with a glee.
"All of them?" asked Violet.
"All of them," Marcy smirked.
The crew quietly congratulates her for her cunning move, which is something that Darwin quietly admires. But that could come later, right now he had to focus on what they needed to do to survive, which means coming up with a plan to overthrow Captain Hook once and for all. Darwin takes a deep breath and the crew listens as he lays out the plan.
"Ok, let's talk about the hook," said Darwin. "What are his habits? His free time."
"He stays mostly in his cabin," said Cleveland Jr.
Darwin paused.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yes, mostly in his cabin," Cleveland jr persists.
"Aye, but when he comes out..."
"He doesn't really come out," said Marcy.
Darwin turns to Violet, who shrugs. Then he turns back to the crew.
"So, you guys mean to tell me that you guys haven't seen him come out of his cabin?"
The crew shook their heads. It appears to him that none of them had seen Captain Hook in person, nor they had seen him at all. Darwin places his hand on his chin, puzzled. Why would Hook openly recruit fellow sailors without even speaking to them in person? This seems odd. However, this could be an advantage that they could use, since Smee is not as tough as his captain, and if what they claim is true, then they could strike without him even knowing what would hit him. But at the same time, it feels a bit more suspicious that no one has ever seen him in person but him. Though it doesn't matter now, because this could be their only chance for them to survive. And to do so, he must tell them what Hook is really planning. So Darwin spoke softly.
"Gentlemen, Ladies," he spoke. "You have all been monstrously deceived. Hook hasn't told you of where we're heading and why we're heading there."
The crew listened. Some were shaking in fear, and others feel their blood boil in anger, feeling betrayed from hearing this revelation. Taking another deep breath, Darwin speaks with determination.
"Danger and death lie before us, as we sail for Mount Malestrom."
The crew gasped in shock upon hearing this revelation. Now they know why they're on this ship in the first place. Mike and Violet looked at each other, just as shocked as the crew. Captain Hook is heading to the same mountain that they are heading to, but for a different purpose. And the crew, the girl on the mast, and even they are mere pawns to his cruel game.
"He's heading for the mountain?" asked Mike.
"Yes," said Darwin. " But for a different purpose."
"That means that we're merely assets," growled the lion, who goes by the name Kopa. "Expendable assets for that filthy pirate Hook!"
"I'm sorry," Darwin apologized.
"The mountain," muttered Patch "We definitely are going die.
"The island of the
However, Darwin brings up a spark of hope for the crew.
"That is unless if we take the ship," said Darwin. "If we take a stand against Hook once and for all, and maybe just, maybe we have a chance to survive.
Darwin stands up proud and pulls out his two lightsabers and raises them in his left hand.
"Now who's with me?"
The crew merely stares at him. Paused. Confused. Motionless. All of a sudden, Mike quickly grabs a sword and jabs it at the ground.
"We take the ship then!" shouted Mike. "NOW!!"
He runs out of the crew quarters as they watched. Then turn back to Darwin, who also paused. This isn't the rally that he had planned. Then again, it's worth a try.
"Go for it," said Darwin.
The crew then rallies up ready to take the ship once and for all crying out in defiance. They go up to the other crew members on the ship, waking them up and giving them some courage to take stand up to their masters. The noises have attracted the attention of Captain Hook's crew. One of the crew members rang a bell summoning the men, who charge at the sailors with savagery and rage. In that matter, the mutiny is underway. Sailors against pirates, slaves against masters. Darwin takes out his lightsabers and crossed blades two pirates, disarming them while force pushing the two towards the mast. Three pirates surround Kopa and Patch who growl in defiance, but all of a sudden, Blue jumps in right in front of the duo growling at the pirates. She screeches in rage, causing the three pirates to flee in fear. This surprised Kopa and Patch as they have never seen a creature with such ferocity. Blue turns to them and nods before they continue the battle.
And so, the fight intensifies as sailors attack the pirates. Marcy Wu quickly arms herself with her wrist crossbow and aims it at the mass. Where the princess stands there tied up, watching the fight from above. Marcy fires the crossbow towards a pole, pulling herself up while dodging the pirate's attack. Meanwhile, Darwin cuts down another pirate as he watches Marcy climb up the mast. Unbeknownst to her, there was another pirate, the one that goes by the name Starkey is on her tail. Darwin had to do something fast before he catches her. Suddenly, he spots a sail. He quickly grabs the rope, uses his lightsaber to loosen the bottom tie. The sail, partially free fills with wind lifts Darwin up the mast, the wind blows carrying him around the mast. As Marcy turns around, Starkey points his sword at her baring his teeth. But before he could finish her, Darwin kicks Starkey off the mast, with the pirate landing face-first at the barrel.
"Thanks for save," said Marcy.
"No prob," said Darwin. "Now let's go free this princess shall we."
The two climbed up the mast and reached the princess, who is praying in silence. As the two reached her, she looked at them with a sign of both relief and suspicion.
"What's your name princess?" asked Darwin.
"My name is Melody," said the princess.
"You're either with us or against us?" asked Marcy.
"I'm not with you, nor against you," answered Melody.
Darwin and Marcy looked at each other.
"Can she do that?" asked Marcy.
"She's a princess, so it's required," said Darwin.
So together, the two cut Melody loose, allowing her to join the fight.
Below deck, the sailors seem to be gaining the upper hand against the pirates. They may have a chance of surviving. As the crew managed to fight back against their masters, Darwin lands on his feet below the deck.
"Fight to the bitter end you bloomin' cockroaches!" Darwin cried out.
The crew continues their fight with Violet going head to head with more pirates, including Bill Jukes, Murphy, and Damien Salt. Using her invisibility to confuse them, and knocking them out while they aren't looking. Mike grabs two pistols and fires them at two random pirates with a glee. As Darwin climbs up the deck, he faces Wibbles one of Hook's trusted crewmates. He dodges the pirate's attack and then kicks him down below deck, allowing Isabella and Cleveland Jr to apprehend him.
"Take him, fellas, tie him down! Tight," he ordered.
The pair quickly grab the ropes and tie down the pirate as the others began to apprehend the pirates with ease. It seems like they won the battle. Darwin thrusts his sabers and rejoices in their victory.
"The ship is ours!" he declared.
But all of a sudden, the doors of the captain's cabin opened. Darwin turns around as the crew watches in horror. And so, Captain Hook revealed himself before their eyes. And he is not happy at all. Even Darwin was intimidated by the sight of the most feared pirate anyone has ever seen.
"I am placed in bewilderment," said Hook. "There I was in my cabin, planning, and upon a sudden, I hear an ungodly rowl on deck."
As he spoke, the sails began to move slowly, slithering like snakes.
"Sailors abandoning their posts without orders."
Every plank and sail began to creak around the crew as they shiver in fear and confusion.
"Men before the mast sought to take the ship for themselves."
He grips his sword, slowly pointing it out. Darwin looks at the sword and gulps. He got a bad feeling about this situation. Hook grins
"What do you call this, Mr. Smee?" asked Hook.
"Mutiny, Captain," said Smee, who hid from the battle earlier.
"Again?"
"Mutiny."
"Aye, mutiny."
He sheathes his sword as the rope slither closer.
"And what fate befalls mutineers?" said Hook. "Mutineers HANG!!"
He raises his sword, and all of a sudden, the ship lurches forward, moving twice the speed as any typical ship. Ropes, unwind releasing the pirates who find themselves free. Then, he points his sword, and that is when their fate is sealed. The ship's sails coil every sailor, every pirate scream caught up in the unearthly lines. Rope flying everywhere, cannons cut off fleeing sailors. Two ropes coil on Blue's legs and leave her dangling up in the air as she struggles. Isabella and Cleveland Jr are caught on the ropes tied up as they carry them above. Many sailors tried to flee, but to no avail, as they are caught by the sails and lifted high to the mast. There is nothing the sailors can do as the entire ship has them lifted high like a spiderweb. Hook's sword controls the entire ship and had thus brought the mutineers to heel hanging from the sails. All of them. He then regards Darwin, who hangs before him, suspected as the one responsible for the mutiny, to begin with.
"Captain, I wish to report a mutiny," said Darwin.
Hook was unfazed.
"I can point fingers and name names."
"No need, Mr. Watterson," said Hook. "They are the sheep, and you are the shephard."
He cuts Darwin loose, dropping him on the deck falling face first. Darwin looks at the pirates surrounding him, smiling nervously. This mutiny did not go as planned at all.
From afar, the whole chaos has been observed by the late Captain Max Dovahkiin, who watched the whole thing using his spyglass. He watches with suspicion. Not only Captain Hook has used the sword to bring down those sailors but had brought down this fish with legs. Max had heard the tales but was not sure if they are true. But now based on what he had seen, it had confirmed his suspicions that the rumors were true. But the question is, what is he doing on the Jolly Roger? What is Hook planning? Though it matters not. He has something that he might need to
"Mr. Butters," said Max.
"Aye, Captain," Butters replied.
"Tell Token to take us closer," Max ordered. "Ready the guns, and prepare to board."
"Aye sir," said Butters.
Butters turns to the crew. Relaying the captain's orders.
"Take us closer. Ready the guns and prepare to board," said Butters.
The Jackdaw crew ran to their stations as the sailors set sail towards the Jolly Roger. As Max puts away his spyglass. Thrusting his sword, which retracts into flames.
"Ok, Hook," he whispers. "Looks like we got some business to settle."
