A dragons tail podfic

Summary:

It wasn’t until he had awoken on his fifteenth birthday with bright red hair, that he definitely hadn’t dyed himself, that he thought that he might be a little different from other people.

Both of his mothers had been surprised, to say the least. But they hadn't been angry with him - though his mom had checked the bins for hair dye boxes, while his mama gave his new shockingly bright locks a long sniff to check for ammonia with a raised brow.

But they had encouraged him when he had told them that he wanted to start working out, asking for a set of weights for his birthday when they took him to pick out a final present.

He had always just had this unshakable feeling that he needed to be strong.

So he became strong.

He had grown into a man that his mother’s could be proud of, and had almost managed to completely squash that bizarre feeling of not belonging.

This was honestly a lot of fun, shifting from the dreamy far off and disconnected narration into more animated and thoughtful/chaotic themes was so crazy and it was kind of hard to get my thumb on it, but I’d like to think I did at least somewhat okay.

This chapter absolutely makes me cry every time I read it, and editing the audio was no different.

Even with seemingly simple dialogue or action scenes, tuna has made art out of the emotions they try to portray, and I can only hope that I’ve done the range of feeling in each chapter justice.
