Chapter Text
Laundry baskets were a pain to drag around. Not because they were heavy or anything, but because the annoying plastic was a fickle barrier to the type of comfort Yuji seeked. He wanted something hot and heavy to rub against his skin, maybe drape around him or hang off his shoulders.
“Mmm-hmm, nu-uh, hmm.” Yuji hummed terribly out of sync with the symphony of machinery. He rubbed his stomach, trying to ease the empty sensation. A comforting filled his nostrils: lavender, floral, aromatic without being overpowering.
The moonlight hit the laundry room window just enough to illuminate a single set of washers and dryers. Three sets, stacked units, rocked back and forth loudly. An eerie glow from the spin cycle setting flashed a constant reminder of time left and a ring came from the dryer.
He swung open the door, his face met with a navy blue jacket. His toes curled as he inhaled—there was just something about when clothes were fresh out the dryer. They were hot and fluffy.
And his scent glands ached so much.
He draped the piece of clothing around his neck. The heat soothed him as his eyes fluttered rapidly. So good. It felt so good.
He tossed the cleaned clothes straight to the dirty floor. His knees caved as his body sagged into the pile—face down, ass up.
Heat bubbled under his skin. A scorching sensation—a stretch. “Submission stance. Like a good little bitch.” Sukuna sneered.
Yuji groaned, shuffling the clothes like a puppy trying to get comfortable in their bed. He didn’t want to hear Sukuna’s teasing right now. His insides churned and he rubbed his scent glands harder against the jacket.
He really needed to take his suppressants before his heat creeped up on him. Moments like this, he didn’t know if he’d start producing or it was just really bad pre-heat symptoms.
Yuji wormed over into a little gap between the washer and dryer sets. He fixed all the clothes around him. A heat wave must have leaked from the dryer because his body felt so… “Mmm-hmm, nu-uh, hmm.” He heard himself humming again. His head bobbed with each bump and jump from the washer, shifting the jacket.
Probably best to properly put it on. His jacket was special, the red hoodie acted as a delicate band-aid over his scent glands.
He twisted and turned his arms until they finally slipped inside. It felt bigger for some reason. There was way more extra room. Weird. He liked nice tight fitting things. The sleeves completely swallowed up his hands and the jacket stretched enough for him to slip his knees inside.
Safety cocoon.
He laid balled up on the floor, the comforting smell lulling his eyes shut.
“Who turned off the lights in here?”
Yuji cracked an eye open. He knew that voice: Megumi. Shouldn’t he be sleeping?
Blinding lights made Yuji’s eye water. He opened his other one and glanced down—his heart stopped—what was he wearing? This jacket didn’t have a red hoodie.
“Where the hell did my clothes go?” There was the sound of the dryer open and closing rapidly as if the clothes could magically reappear.
Megumi’s jacket? Yuji was wearing Megumi’s jacket.
“It smells so…” Footsteps shuffled closer to him.
Crap! He hadn’t been paying attention. He took the wrong clothes…nested with the wrong clothes! If Megumi would have been an alpha or something maybe he would have smelled him.
He wiped his eyes as a familiar slender frame blocked the intensity of the overhead lights. Megumi towered over him.
“Hey! Funny seeing you up so late!” Yuji slipped out his ball form and waved, the extra long jacket sleeves bouncing back and forth.
“I could tell you the same.”
“Well, uhh…ya know?” Yuji felt himself smile. He probably looked so stupid right now, curled up between the washing machines ontop of a pile of clothes.
“Wouldn’t it be better if you had a blanket?” Megumi asked.
“I guess.” Yuji took off the jacket.
Megumi started to grab it, then paused. He must have noticed his other clothes surrounding Yuji’s body.
“Accidental.” Yuji barely recognized his own voice from how shaky it was. “I thought my clothes were in the dryer. I guess…they were the ones in the washer.”
Megumi’s brow furrowed. He reached out, his hand stroked soothingly over Yuji’s back, skin burning through the thin fabric. It was almost like he was coaxing Yuji to come out of hiding.
Yuji crawled out. He scooted a few clothes behind him. “I’ll help you fold them.”
“These have to be washed again, idiot. This floor is disgusting.” Megumi pulled the washer door open. “What if you get sick?”
“I was mostly laying on your clothes. So I probably won’t.”
Megumi shoved his clothes inside the machine.
Yuji held up his jacket, ready to add it to the stack.
“Stop. I didn’t tell you to do anything with that.” Megumi closed the door and selected the wash cycle. “Class starts in a few hours. I’ll wear it as is.”
The sun casted an orange glow on the skyline that faded to deep blue. Yuji stared past Megumi, trying to keep his focus out the window, instead of the jacket on Megumi’s body. His ears barely made out the rattling of Nobara digging in her makeup bag, over the roar of the bus engine.
Two disadvantages of taking the bus, being stuck in the back and not being able to wear seatbelts.
“One of us has to learn how to drive.” Yuji turned his attention away from the window. He stared at the other passengers.
“Don’t start complaining. You’re the one who insisted this shopping trip couldn’t wait.” Megumi pulled off his headphones.
“You suggested it! You said a blanket would be better for my nest!”
“It will be. I don’t want you sleeping on the laundry room floor. But why did we have to come along?”
“Omegas are just clingy.” Nobara handed Yuji her mini-makeup mirror.
“I’m not clingy!” When Yuji had originally asked his friends to tag along, neither of them rejected. He didn’t think they minded. The more people he had around the less empty he felt!
“Yeah. You’re just annoying.” Megumi shifted his jacket collar over his nose.
Yuji noticed that was the eighth time Megumi sniffed the collar within an hour. Each time made him more and more paranoid. What if Megumi figured out he scented it? There wasn’t a chance he didn’t smell the scent of strawberry. The only thing that was probably saving Yuji from getting yelled at was the fact his heat was so close.
Megumi probably assumed Yuji’s scent was that strong.
Or…what if Megumi secretly liked it? The idea made Yuji’s heart skip a few beats.
“Maybe you’ll understand someday, Megumi!” Nobara popped the top from her lipstick. “I mean a late bloomer like you, will be a beta.”
Yuji nodded, struggling to hold Nobara’s pocket mirror steady as the bus seemed to speed forward with extra gusto.
“Too shaky.”
“The road is bumpy.” Yuji was used to being in the middle—sandwiched—between his two friends. But this drive was something else.
“Think statue!”
If Yuji could be still that easily his leg wouldn’t constantly bounce up and down and his hands wouldn’t fidget every five seconds. Statue… calm, was a state of mind. His memories of last night rushed back—calm was when he buried his face in Megumi’s jacket.
A car horn shattered his memory. Tires screamed against the pavement. His body…was falling forward?
Megumi’s arm shot out in front of him. It was almost like a seatbelt, more like a safety latch on an amusement park ride, it wasn’t that firm or possessed the power to hold him in one place. Plus the arm wasn’t just for him, it managed to hook around Nobara.
An uproar arose. People were crying and yelling. The bus jerked to a sudden stop.
Yuji felt a heavy weight on his right side. His eyes opened to see strands of brown hair partially blocking his vision. Strange. He didn’t remember closing his eyes.
Nobara leaned against him. He could feel how fast her heart was pounding, he could feel how nervous she was—how scared. She had dropped her lipstick, the top part pinker than the bottom.
“That fucking moron could have got us all killed!” Megumi still didn’t move his arm from guarding them. No matter how scrawny it was. No matter how much it seemed to tremble. “I. swear. to. God.” He dragged the words out from between ground teeth. His jaw clenched and unclenched rhythmically and if it weren’t for the heavy tension in the air, Yuji would gladly watch his jaw for hours. “I’m going to ki—tch.”
Yuji hooked his arms under Megumi’s. He understood every complaint Megumi was making. Because one thing he knew about being scared. Trust wasn’t given out freely and there were only a few shelters from the horrible things that came up in life.
Megumi and Nobara were Yuji’s shelters. He didn’t know what he would do if he lost either one of them.
The blanket was really soft. It was plush and fuzzy. A custom blanket made for omegas to reduce the feeling of emptiness. The blanket had a nice blue color that almost matched with Megumi’s eyes. But it wasn't worth risking his friends’ lives.
Yuji wished to snuggle against Megumi. All the softness couldn’t compare to Megumi’s chest or being held in Megumi’s arms.
Megumi’s safe trusting arms…
Yuji couldn’t shake the thrill of Megumi protecting him. In the spur of the moment, it wasn’t like they were fighting curses. It wasn’t some fight Megumi could get the upper hand in; he still reached out to protect his friends.
“Goddamn it! Why does Megumi get to look so cool all the time?” Yuji rolled back and forth in his nest. “And it's like he doesn’t even know it!”
“That’s a bold statement.” Sukuna appeared on Yuji’s hand.
“It’s true.” Their first encounter had gone similarly, Megumi came off as very aggressive, always grabbing or attempting to hold Yuji back. “You’re staying here.” Now that he considered it, those actions were for his own sake. Megumi was always trying to prevent Yuji from harming himself.
“Careful.” Sukuna’s voice dipped, “Don’t fall for those love clichés. Just because someone saves your life doesn’t mean you owe it to them.”
Yuji understood that feeling. Many people had saved his life. Many people sacrificed themselves for his existence, when he should be the one in a coffin six under. That feeling wasn’t one of love or attractiveness. It was more admiration for their will to make up for his cowardness.
The feeling Yuji felt for Megumi was a combination of all three. “Friends always bring out the best in each other.” That must be the name for this feeling. Not like Megumi had some other reason. Megumi wasn’t an alpha—such a shame—but that made his kindness more real.
“Omegan scents are known to be very therapeutic. Well some are.” Sukuna rolled his eye. “Who knows about you, brat?”
“Megumi must have liked my scent! I’ve never seen him react like that before!”
“If you’re so confident, keep scenting him.”
How could Yuji do that? The first time was an honest mistake. He threw his backpack on his shoulders and checked twice that his room light was off, before he stepped into the hall. It should be easy in theory. His body was oozing pheromones in search for an alpha.
“You’re up early.” Megumi said.
“I didn’t get much sleep.” Yuji yawned. “Do you want to sit in the middle from now on?”
Megumi locked his room door. He turned to face Yuji with a slightly bothered expression. “What are you talking about? That’s your favorite spot.”
“Yeah. But, it might fit you better.”
“Not interested.”
“You have the instinct! Yesterday, when you reached out to shield Nobara and I.” Yuji lowered his head, recalling how terrified he felt for a few seconds. But soon as Megumi’s arm stopped him—it was okay. He could breathe again and he felt like an invincible bubble surrounded them that couldn’t be popped. “That was cool, dude!”
Megumi shrugged.
Yuji felt his face grow hot. How could Megumi just brush such an action off? If only…what if his scent could fix Megumi’s awkwardness? If it gave Megumi the courage, then…
Megumi walked past him.
“Wait, uh!” Yuji reached out. “Let me fix your jacket!”
Megumi paused for a second. Yuji tippy-toed to gently grab the collar of Megumi’s jacket. He felt a soft breath hit the side of his cheek, dark blue eyes focused on his own golden ones.
“It will only take a second.” Yuji said. Their faces were so close. His nerves were getting the better of him. “You look better when it’s worn like this.”
Megumi tensed. Yuji could feel how his body locked up to his touch. The scent glands on his wrist glazed over the ones on Megumi’s neck, as the fabric folded and bent.
“Imagine all the interesting faces you have yet to make.” Megumi’s voice dropped to a low rumble, somewhere between amusement and danger.
“Interesting faces?” Yuji lifted his head and flashed a smile. “My expressions?”
“You and Nobara.” Megumi tucked a finger beneath Yuji’s chin. “I don’t want to miss a single one. So obviously I’m not risking anything.”
Yuji took a step and his back slammed against the wall, his hands lowered. Was that Megumi’s explanation for protecting them? He noticed how Megumi traced a single finger over the area where his omegan scent lingered.
“Don’t point out instinctual things, you just have to accept them as fact.” Megumi kept rubbing the area, as if embedding Yuji’s scent into his skin.
Yuji nodded, feeling the smile on his face grow. Don’t point out the fact that Megumi looked really hot right now. Okay. He got it.
A daily schedule. Yuji set up times for him to imprint on Megumi. His scent would only last for so long since Megumi hadn’t presented yet, but that was fine. He couldn’t help but perk with interest each time Megumi touched their special spot.
Yuji checked the reminder on his phone. It was time for another round of scenting— alpha —not alpha. Definitely not. He shook the thought from his head and grabbed a book from the library shelf. His fingertips brushed over another.
“Hmm?”
The hand on the other side forcefully tugged the book backwards. A gap created between the novels allowed Yuji to see a familiar face.
“Megumi!” Yuji couldn’t contain the eagerness in his voice. Right on time, like clockwork—as if Megumi had been dying to have Yuji’s omegan scent reintroduced to his body.
“Quiet down, idiot. You’re in a place of study.” Megumi lifted the book up. “How badly did you need this?”
Not anymore. Yuji had Megumi now! “You present your project first today. Take it.”
“Aren’t you going right after me? We can’t state the same facts back to back.”
Yuji crept around the bookshelf. He slipped between a ladder and a cart full of returns. Megumi must have had the same idea, because suddenly they were almost chest to chest—the book between them.
“Ya sure, you’re not gonna be embarrassed? I can just say the ones you mess up.”
“Whatever.”
“Joking! I wouldn’t jinx ya like that!”
“Don’t make me tell you again, to keep your voice down.” Megumi steadied the book in his hands, flipping through a few pages.
Yuji skillfully slipped his hands near the edge of the cover. His scent gland rubbed over Megumi’s—once, twice—he traced a finger around the sensitive spot. He wanted to give Megumi enough encouragement, so he wouldn’t get embarrassed. Megumi could smell Yuji and everything would be alright. Megumi would remember all the facts and get a perfect grade.
“What are you doing?” Megumi hissed.
Yuji felt his heart leap to his throat. He willed himself to say something, anything. It didn’t even have to be funny, just something. A nervous smile spread on his face.
“Here.” Megumi gave Yuji the book. “We can share it.”
Over the past few days, Yuji and Megumi shared a lot with each other. The only thing they hadn’t shared was a kiss. The thought of his lips pressed against Megumi’s made his insides twist, with a yearning to be filled. Because, kissing would definitely lead to…
“What are you blushy blushy for?” Nobara clicked her tongue.
Yuji lowered his cup from his lips. “Nothing.” He tried to focus on the food in front of him. Ugh...his head hurt. “I’ll probably make us lunch tomorrow.”
“Awesome! I was getting tired of eating noodles.”
“Anything you want?”
“I’m not picky when it comes to your food.” Nobara smiled at him. Her lipstick was applied perfectly today. She already looked cute without makeup but the little touch up added extra spice.
“I know, but I’d still like some ideas.” Yuji smiled back. “Let’s force an answer out of Megumi!”
“Hell yeah!” Nobara gave a little wave. “There he is now!” Her joy drained from her face, she growled, low and possessive.
Yuji followed her sight to see Megumi advancing closer. He was gazing at them with hazy eyes. So empty. So dreary. So predatory. Heat pulsed through his body.
“What’s with the ice on your cheek?” Nobara growled again. Her pissed off scent stung Yuji’s nose.
Megumi shifted the ice pack. “Nothing.”
“You know, ya can’t say that when it’s clear something is wrong.” Nobara lowered her hand. “We haven’t been on any missions recently. Did someone punch you?”
“I said it’s nothing.” Megumi took a seat beside them. He rested his elbow on the table and his head against the cold ice pack in his palm.
Yuji got the urge to snuggle against Megumi till somehow his sweetness melted the pain away. “Are you going to eat lunch?”
Megumi shook his head. The side of his cheek that the ice pack was on didn't seem swollen. Good. That meant nobody had hit him.
“If you’re worried about holding the ice pack and the tray, I can carry your tray for you.” Yuji hesitantly reached his hand out. Maybe if he just scented Megumi, he’d feel better. Or maybe it would provide some relief. His fingers stopped short as Megumi’s expression darkened.
“Nhh…” Megumi increased his grip. The sound of ice crushing was barely heard over his low groan.
“Megumi, go to the infirmary.” Nobara spoke through a mouthful of noodles.
“I’m fine.”
Nobara narrowed her eyes and pointed her chopsticks at him.
“I know my own pain tolerance.”
“We don’t want you to be in any pain at all!” Yuji blurted. Not when Megumi always tried to protect him and Nobara.
“Relax. Both of you.” Megumi lifted his cheek from the ice pack. “It’s just a toothache.”
“Buy a Ginger Ale. It will probably help.” Nobara said.
Megumi stood up and left the icepack on the table. “Anyone else want anything? I’ll pay.”
Yuji avoided Megumi’s gaze. Those eyes were staring right into his heart—trying to read his desires—don’t do that. Please, don’t try to do that. All he would see was more concern. More pity. More omegan sides that Yuji tried not to expose to people, but couldn’t hide around his friends.
Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. The scent of strawberry shortcake grew stronger, and Yuji kept fidgeting his chopsticks against his bowl. Tap. Tap. The tapping finally matched the sound of footsteps.
“Is it me or has Megumi been acting weird lately?” Nobara whispered. “He gave a presentation without getting embarrassed yesterday.”
Yuji whined quietly, an animalistic sound of pain and want and satisfaction. “That means it's been working then.” His chopsticks slowly stopped drumming.
“Huh?”
“It started when I accidentally scented Megumi’s jac—“
“You scented Megumi’s jacket!” Nobara’s chopsticks slipped from her fingers. “Megumi is like a blank slate because he hasn’t presented yet!”
“I know.” Yuji raised his wrist, skimming a single finger over his scent glands. “So for the past few days, I gave him a little dab.”
“Yuji! You’re going into a heat soon. You can’t just rub your scent on people.” Nobara grabbed his wrist. She took a quick sniff— strawberry buttercream. “How do you think that will affect Megumi?”
“Goodly? Uh... is that a word?” Yuji allowed Nobara’s nose to dust over skin. “Sukuna told me that scenting Megumi could be therapeutic.”
“Of course it was, Sukuna.” Nobara slumped over and stared at her noodles.
Yuji stared at his food too. For some reason knowing that Megumi wasn’t feeling well, made his food look a lot less appetizing. “Maybe if I scent Megumi again—“
“No!”
Why was she yelling at him? Yuji felt his bottom lip quiver. He didn’t do anything bad did he? God. He suddenly had this awful feeling. A really awful feeling that he did something bad.
“Sorry, that came out mean.” Nobara spoke in a hushed voice, scraping her chopsticks against the bottom of her bowl. “It just… I really hope Megumi isn’t growing fangs.”
“But Megumi will be a beta!” Yuji tried to ignore how his heart flipped in his chest. “He’s a late bloomer so he will be a beta.”
Nobara didn’t say anything.
Why didn’t she say anything?
Yuji poked Nobara’s shoulder. “Remember on the bus, what you said!”
“I know what I said!” Nobara’s hands once again found their way to scoop up his wrists—this time, a fraction too firm to be anything but a warning. “But I didn’t know you were going behind people’s backs and scenting him!”
Yuji opened his mouth but words fled his tongue, as Megumi came into view.
“Take them.” Megumi dropped way more than just a single soda on the table. There was juice, chips, and candy. “No one made any requests.”
So he got everyone’s favorite? Yuji didn’t even know that Megumi had memorized their favorite junk foods.
“Alpha tendency.” Nobara cursed under her breath.
Oh. God. Yuji stared at the pile of snacks with newfound horror. What if he created a monster?
It wasn’t really good to present later in life. It usually meant: you were a beta or someone influenced a gene to suddenly start coding. The second option was more common in omegas. It was easy for an alpha to break a beta into becoming an omega—but the other way around?
Yuji couldn’t sleep thinking about it, covers slipped to the floor as various pillows got kicked aside. Alpha. Alpha. Alpha was the only thing missing! He needed…
Just the thought of Megumi being his alpha made Yuji wet. He rubbed his thighs together as a whimper slipped out his mouth, “Sukuna, you tricked me!”
“Don’t throw a tantrum, brat. It’s all your fault for going along with it.” Sukuna chided, the ends of his lips tugged towards hell. “Besides, what’s the harm in forcing Megumi’s heart to beat for you, too?”
Ugh. If Megumi… all his fault! All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault. All his fault.
Yuji clawed at his hair, his knees met his chest as his body curled into a safety ball. “I’ll do everything I can to help him! I can make it better!”
“You’ve done more than enough in my opinion.” Sukuna said. “You’ve helped Megumi get even closer to obtaining his full potential. That’s what you claim friends’ do, right?”
Not like this. Yuji didn’t know if his insides were twisting up because of guilt or emptiness. He hugged his arms around his stomach, pressing his face into the freshly cleaned t-shirt in his nest. What if Megumi didn’t want to be his friend anymore?
Notes:
This story is called Build-An-Alpha because Megumi becomes an embodiment of Yuji’s desires. 🤔 So since Yuji likes tall girls with big butts, then he must also like tall boys with big dicks. That’s why its rated M for Megumi’s. Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful day! Stay safe!~Mel
Chapter 2: Megumi
Summary:
Megumi’s fangs throbbed, once, twice, almost unbearably the third time, begging to sink into Yuji’s neck—that was so nicely being offered. “You need an alpha to take care of you! Stupid omega!”
Yuji peeked upwards and the bright smile Megumi craved spread on his face. “Take care of me then.”
Megumi growled, pushing Yuji’s head back down with his chin. Their scents mingled with each other. He felt like he was floating on air. Everything just felt right—Holding Yuji, so squishy, yet chiseled with muscles. He pressed a hand on Yuji’s stomach. Yuji sagged with the touch, a soft omegan whine slipped from his lips.

Chapter Text
There wasn’t a moment in Megumi’s life where he considered himself a good person. In middle school he knocked his own classmates out and hunted down the rats who snitched about his daily fights. His fist did more talking than his mouth.
“Would you stop fighting, already? Get rid of those useless frustrations.” His older sister—Tsumiki—warned him countless times.
In her honor, he took her advice. There wasn’t much for him to be greedy for, until…
Yuji looked really pathetic on the laundry room floor. A bright smile on his feverish face and his body swallowed by Megumi’s jacket.
That smile crept into his dreams night after night. Then sometimes at school, Yuji would wear the same smile—not too big, eyes squeezed shut, just real enough to convey his joy and excitement.
It was the highlight of his day. Even better when Nobara was around and the three of them were chilling. His friends were bright, beautiful, sending electric shocks through a newfound outlet.
“Prime alpha.” Shoko circled something on her clipboard.
Megumi tasted blood on his tongue. He dug his newly formed claws into his thighs.
“Don’t look so upset. If your fangs bring you any discomfort, gargle some salt water.”
The pair of teeth actively forcing their way through his gums was why Megumi went to the infirmary. But apparently this toothache was a small step on his road to sexual maturity.
“Your rut will probably start within twelve hours of your fangs fully growing in. So you can still go to practice today.” Shoko pulled off her gloves and tucked them in her pocket.
“Do you have some like…” Megumi felt so dumb. He didn’t even know what it was called. He was supposed to be a beta! Damn it! “The pills to stop my rut.”
“The drugs don’t work on prime alphas.”
“Is there a way I could still try them?” Megumi let out a shuddering breath. His scent had grown so thick. The scent of a prime alpha was overwhelming and demanding, it subconsciously commanded submission. His friends didn’t deserve that. Their practice fights wouldn’t even be fair anymore. “Please?”
“Sorry.” Shoko shook her head. “On the bright side, you only need to lock yourself away for a few days. Sleep it off.”
No. There was no bright side. The bright side was Yuji’s smile and Megumi wouldn’t get to see that.
Megumi jumped off the examination bed. He caught a whiff of his friends as he opened the door. They must have been waiting outside the nurse’s office the whole time.
“What did she say?” Nobara pressed a hand on his forehead.
“I’m not dying yet.” Megumi gently pushed her away. “Don’t look at me like that.”
“Good! Let’s go to practice then.”
Megumi yawned and stepped past them. “I don’t feel like being annoyed by Gojo sensei today.” He shoved his hands in his pockets. “One of you carry on that message to him for me.”
“That’s all you have to tell us!” Yuji sounded upset. It sounded so wrong. He was supposed to be bright and cheerful, making Megumi feel so warm and happy and wanting to be around him all the time.
Megumi grabbed Yuji by the arm, pulling his body close and angling his face toward pink lips. “You smell my new scent, don’t you?” Take a good breath. Savor it. Memorize it. “Now leave me alone.”
Yuji didn’t flinch or tremble, like any normal omega. His expression knitted with determination, “No matter how toxic you act, we’re still going to love you! You’re the one who said it doesn’t matter if someone you save, hurts somebody in the future. The same rules apply.”
That was just his selfishness, only a total dumbass would mention it. Megumi released him. “Go to practice.”
In the dream world, Yuji’s smile was void of any purity. The fantasy left him hot and worked up. Megumi stared at the ceiling, a hand had found its way to palm the growing bulge in his pajama pants.
Yuji was in the room beside him. Would his scent travel through the vents? Yuji…if Yuji smelled him. Those damn vents. If Yuji…smelled like him.
His prick swelled with interest, rising against the fabric restraining it.
If Yuji came out drenched in Megumi’s scent. He’d probably smile. Smile. Smile. Smile, was that all Yuji used his mouth for? He could put it to better use.
Megumi groaned, freeing his cock. He could barely grip the base, for some reason he didn’t remember it being this big.
Fuck.
Would his cock even fit in Yuji’s mouth?
“This is gonna cause so many problems.” Megumi pumped his hand up and down his elongated shaft. He needed more friction, more touch.
Annoying. Prime alpha genetics were annoying. Now he couldn’t even properly jerk off.
Megumi needed to shove his dick down Yuji’s throat—probably feel so soft and wet. Plush lips curled upwards, gulping down his cock—tight muscles constricting—dangerous teeth teasing his veins. Megumi would fuck slowly into Yuji’s mouth, dragging his massive prick against Yuji’s tongue, letting Yuji catch little pockets of air in between patches of pubic hair.
What faces would Yuji make then, huh?
“Keep him full and happy.” Megumi growled, using his other hand to cup his balls. Desperate. He was desperate to stuff his dick in.
But just Yuji.
Megumi only wanted to stuff his dick in Yuji.
His strokes picked up speed, and he rolled his balls in his palm. Megumi had so many inches, Yuji wouldn't know what to do—he’d just have to shut up and take it.
“Fill him up every day.” Megumi felt his cock pulsate between his fingertips.
He thought about the pathetic face Yuji made balled up on the laundry room floor.
Never ever again. Not with him around.
Megumi would make his home between Yuji’s thighs.
They’d create a big happy family, together.
“Yuji won’t want for nothing, all he has to do is ask. I’ll give him everything.” Megumi gripped the head of his cock, feeling something weird force its way through the tip. What the fuck was that…what the fuck was that…WHAT THE FUCK WAS—
Thick white spurts shot out, painting his hands. Megumi howled. Getting bigger. It was getting bigger and it hurt. “No. No. Knot. No! There’s no one to knot!”
It kept going and going, more juices spilling out as his knot inflated.
All he could think about was Yuji.
Megumi squeezed his eyes shut, making a fist to cage in his knot. It spread his fingers wide till they just helplessly clutched it. Tears pricked the corner of his eyes. He tried to imagine knotting the back of Yuji’s throat.
A frantic knock came on his door, “Megumi, are you okay? You screamed like you’re in pain.”
Megumi skimmed his tongue over his fangs. They ached at the sound of Yuji’s voice.
“Do you need me to get Gojo sensei?” Yuji asked.
Megumi couldn’t stop the whimper that left him. His clothes covered in his own juices, his bedsheets ruined, his knot throbbing.
“I’ll send him over.”
“In an hour.” Megumi blinked and shuddered, another deep breath filled his lungs. Fertile omega. So close. All he needed to do was—
“Umm…I…” Yuji’s voice shrank, “I’m supposed to be picking up my suppressants around that time. The pharmacy closes early and they don’t open on weekends.”
“Forget it. Pick up your stuff.”
“No! I’m going to get him for you!” The sweet scent drifted away as the sound of footsteps filled the hall.
A shower and fresh sheets did nothing to boost Megumi’s mental state. He was so bad. He jerked off to the kindest, cutest omega in the world. For why? He didn’t even understand why. He searched on his phone: Prime Alpha characteristics.
“Hey! I came to check on my favorite hormonal student.” Gojo’s voice rang out.
“The internet already helped me.” Megumi kept scrolling through search results and boosted the volume of hip-hop music from his phone.
Did this beat always have the sound of keys rattling? Was it some type of remix or somethi—
His eyes drifted upwards. Gojo causally grinned from the doorway. The cup of coffee in his hand splashing as he waltzed inside.
“How did you…?” Megumi’s voice trailed off. He recognized the master key ring Gojo spun on his finger.
“Figured you’d try to block me out.” Gojo lowered his black shades, eyes squinting. “Damn it’s not enough that you look like him, is it? You had to be a prime alpha, too.” He pushed his shades back. “Makes this more interesting.”
“Don’t come around me babbling nonsense. My head hurts enough already.” Megumi paused his music.
“Your head hurts? How do you think Nobara and Yuji feel?”
“I get urges around them.”
“So quick witted.” Gojo’s chuckle was a little more than a quick exhale. “The nicer thing would be asking them to stay further away from you, instead of cutting them off entirely.”
Megumi felt words lodge in his throat. If anything this was the time to confess his urges. But…“Do you think it’s a coincidence? Yuji’s heat and my presentation as a prime alpha.”
“No such thing.” Gojo clicked his tongue. “Just a reason you don’t want to admit to understanding yet.” He stared at his coffee cup as if in deep thought. “This could be beneficial in the long run. No need to kill Sukuna’s vessel if he’s under the control of a prime alpha.”
“I don’t want to use my scent to control my friends!”
“Then think of it like this, if anything happens to me,” Gojo stirred his coffee. “Being a prime alpha makes you the new leader. If you’re the leader, it's your job to encourage and protect everyone. Don’t be scared of the urges you’re having. If you’re scared of them, it only gets more uncontrollable.”
The strong urge to sink his fangs deep into Yuji’s skin, marking so that everyone knew who Yuji belonged to. Yuji’s heart, his life, his future, completely forfeit to Megumi under the supremacy of his scent.
“Put some more trust in me. I am a prime alpha myself. I know what I’m talking about.” Gojo patted Megumi’s shoulders, almost a fatherly gesture.
Almost.
Megumi couldn’t bring himself to reject it. “I had a dream about Yuji.” He whispered.
“Then make it a reality. Reality isn’t something that benefits everyone, it’s just something everyone has to put up with.” Gojo held up two fingers. “And the reality of your situation right now, is you’re a prime alpha in a rut and you’ve identified a potential mate.”
A potential mate? No. Megumi would make Yuji his. He only desired him. “Yuji doesn’t have a fucking choice.”
“Ooo~scary.”
“Exactly.” Megumi cut his eyes at the ceiling vents. “This feeling is very much that.” The thought of Yuji mating with anyone else made his head hurt. “Does it make me bad?”
“Haha! You kids are so funny!” Gojo brought the coffee cup to his lips as if to hide his grin. “Rest up. Your friends can only entertain themselves for so long without you. I’ll try to hold them off for a bit.”
Urges would come and go with the hot flashes. He’d go into a frenzy, humping the pillows or grinding his hardness on any available surface.

Megumi spelled the name over and over. God…He needed Yuji. His knot hurt so badly once it inflated. He passed out in bed only to awake, bothered and sticky. He had taken so many showers, the smell of soap made him nauseous.
An almondy scent filled his lungs. Megumi was drawn to his room door, managing to stop short of ripping it off the hinges.
“It’s not like you to ghost on us.”
Nobara—crap, was she upset? Her face all bunched up, eyes squinted, lips puckered. She probably had her hands crossed under her chest.
“You should have seen the signs earlier. I mean how dense can you be?”
“You don’t know the half of it.”
Nobara grew quiet for a few seconds. “Is it that bad?”
Yes. Megumi swallowed that answer. “Nah.”
“Liar.” Nobara was definitely upset. He could hear it. “If you were fine, you wouldn’t have left us hanging.”
A pink notebook slipped under his door.
“Here. Take a picture of the notes from class.”
Megumi picked it up. A sloppily folded page slipped to the floor.
“Yuji left a note. Something about not being able to tell you in person. But he should be coming with lunch soon.”
The note was poorly scribbled: Hope ya FEEL betTeEEEER! Don’t B sad :D
“This is the most idiotic thing I've ever read.” Megumi scoped up the note, wisps of Yuji’s scent tickled his nose.
“Haha! Don’t be like that. An omega’s scent will really help with your rut.”
Oh. Megumi knew. He shoved his nose in the notebook, the smell of his friends lingered on the pages.
“Be nice to him.” Nobara hummed. “Yuji spent hours wondering what to write before deciding just scenting it might do better than his words.”
Megumi inhaled the sweetness, till his brain buzzed from the sensation.
“Nobara! I brought a bunch of napkins. How’s Megumi?”
“Hmm, well based on how he hasn’t given back my notebook.”
Megumi pulled his phone out and quickly snapped pictures. He heard Yuji ranting about something and Nobara loudly counting the seconds, till he slid the notebook under the door. “Leave my lunch. I’ll get it later.”
“We aren’t leaving till we know you ate!”
Why were his friends so stubborn? “Stand away from the door.”
He waited a few seconds, then cautiously cracked the door. A blur charged in his direction at a very fast speed.
“No surprise hugs!” Nobara yanked Yuji by his hoodie. “We can’t tease Megumi, right now.”
Yuji gagged for a few seconds, his words came out in a slur of stutters. “S-sorry! I can’t help it!” His innocent doe eyes glanced between Nobara and Megumi. “I missed him!”
“Give Nobara an extra big hug in place of mine.” Megumi opened the door just wide enough to grab his meal. “Why’d ya bring me so much food?”
“Beca—Whoa! Did you get an overnight growth spurt?” Yuji used his hand to compare. “I should have brought over more.”
“Seriously?” Nobara raised a brow.
It was probably the distance between them. Nobara always looked adorable. Yuji always looked… Megumi felt blood rush straight to his dick. Yuji would barely be able to take him. The fit would be snug for sure.
“I’m strong. I can handle it.” Yuji lifted the hem of his jacket to reveal his abs.
Megumi almost jerked off at the sight. Yes. YES. Yuji was the perfect omega to accommodate Megumi’s size. His omega wasn’t weak! Yuji had thrown cars, launched them into the air like an oversized baseball.
“Carrying over a bunch of napkins is different from carrying over food. Food is a balancing act.” Nobara said.
“Heh! I kind of suck at that.” Yuji fumbled with his jacket. “But since you’re concerned with my balancing skills, let’s eat lunch here. The cafeteria is too far.” His eyes flickered upwards, “If ya don’t mind, Megumi?”
“Do whatever you want.” Megumi slammed the door closed.
Footsteps grew closer. He heard bags unzipping and tried to ignore how much his heart swelled in his chest.
“This is really good!” Nobara hummed.
“New recipe. I think I’ll add more spice next time.”
Megumi could envision his friends sitting with their backs against his door. They were smiling and laughing—a sight he got so used to seeing, he took for granted. His legs gave way, his back hit the wood, eyes staring up at the vents. How could such brightness even exist in his life? His hands shakily popped open the lunch container.
“How does yours taste, Megumi?” Yuji asked.
Delicious. Megumi shoved more food in his mouth before he could swallow.
“Sounds like he’s enjoying it, too.” Nobara hummed.
Megumi knew she had her signature sly grin resting on her lips. That grin where she seemed to know his feelings better than he did.
“We’ll keep doing this, until we drill it into your stubborn skull.” Yuji said.
“Don’t.” Megumi choked. Why did their kindness make everything hurt worse? He was a prime alpha. He should be the one getting mad on his friends’ behalf. He should be the one scolding others for them.
“Sorry. We don’t ask permission to help you. It just gets done.” Nobara said.
His friends didn’t understand anything. They only said it so easily because they didn’t know his dirty urges. He had changed; he couldn’t pretend he didn’t.
Megumi remembered when he had the whole floor to himself. His personal paradise changed once Yuji arrived. When Gojo sensei placed him in the room next door, it was like Nobara said, “should have seen the signs.” Yuji didn’t make paradise less desirable, he upgraded it to Heaven with that smile of his.
The box shifted a bit as Megumi closed the ceiling vent. Dust sprinkled downwards, sending him into a coughing fit. He wiped his face and jumped before the box sent him tumbling.
“Ouch! What the hell?” A loud crashing sound came from outside his room. “Megumi! Did you order a bunch of stuff? There are boxes with your name on it out here.”
“No, I didn’t.”
“Then what are they—ouch! I keep hitting my feet!”
“I filled out a room change request.” Megumi sighed. Maybe it was a bad idea to start so early: Yuji always lazily dragged his feet after practice.
“You don’t want to be my room neighbor anymore?” A frantic knock came on the door, it was almost more desperate and concerned than this morning. “But this is so much fun! We walk to class together! We help each other with laundry! I mean, like…this…this has to be a joke, right?”
Damn…Yuji was so close, his scent waffled through the door cracks. An omega going into a heat. So rich and succulent. Megumi always thought Yuji smelled nice. But this was on a whole other level.
“Tell me why!” Yuji’s knocks turned aggressive, more like a banging.
“I’m a prime alpha and you're an omega.”
“So what? We’re friends!”
Friends don’t force their dirty desires upon each other. “That’s why I’m doing this.”
“If I can’t be near you, can I at least get a piece of you?”
A banging sound came in his silence.
“What do you want?” Megumi kicked the box to the side.
“Rabbit Shikigami.”
“Step away and I’ll summon it for you.” For some reason the sweet smell didn’t dissipate, each step made the scent grow stronger. Megumi grabbed the door knob, slowly twisting it. “You better have step—“
A weight was pressed against him. His legs stumbled back, till his body fell onto the mattress.
“I won’t let you move! Stay with me forever!” Yuji curled on top of Megumi. The blanket in his hand wrapping the both of them in warmth. “Even in death. Before my execution, let’s get graves side by side, so we can be buried together.” He sounded so sleepy and out of it, his nose dusted over Megumi’s collar bone.
So lightly.
Megumi felt his skin tingling with desire as Yuji rubbed his scent glands. Strawberry shortcake. So sweet, so delicious, so…addicting.
“I’ll die first, but in fifty years our friendship will be reunited again.” Yuji cooed. “I won’t mind the wait. So take longer if you want.”
“Hey.” Megumi somehow willed his arms to move. He shook Yuji. “Hey! What are you doing?”
Yuji pulled back, staring at him with big needy eyes. A snuffling sound came out, his cheeks flushed with fever, his eyes slammed shut, his forehead wrinkled.
Fuck.
Fuck.
That was cute.
Yuji’s head landed on Megumi’s chest with a thud as if he was unable to hold it up anymore. He still didn’t have his eyes open, but his face muscles relaxed peacefully. “You smell good.”
“You didn’t make it to the pharmacy in time, huh?” Megumi rubbed the wet spot on Yuji’s pants. More slick poured out and Yuji grinded against his hand. “Now you’re in a heat because of me.”
“Ne-ne-needed….to help you. I really didn’t knooooow!”
“This brat trusts you.” Sukuna’s eye opened, his expression filled with murderous rage. “Looks like he made the wrong choice.”
Megumi held his breath, his heartbeat quickened. He tapped his phone on the nightstand.
How could he forget? Yuji was Sukuna’s vessel and the thing about Sukuna was: just because he’s not in control, doesn’t mean he’s not dangerous.
Megumi sent out a frantic warning text. Help. Yuji, my room, HEAT!
Nobara: 🍆😩💦
Megumi: WTF? The eggplant emoji?
Nobara: Encouragement😳
“My stomach feels empty. It hurts!” Yuji was dripping wet, cuddling closer.
Any closer and he’d feel Megumi’s painfully growing boner.
Megumi groaned, throwing his head back. He could fuck Yuji RIGHT HERE and finally properly pop his knot.
Was something ringing?
“It’s rare for you to text me.” The voice from his phone sounded distorted.
His brain must be getting more sluggish. “Gojo sensei, Yuji needs help.”
“You’d leave your omega in the hands of another alpha?” Gojo sounded ready to burst out laughing. “You’d let me take him?”
Megumi felt a low grumble in his chest, somehow it pushed itself to his throat and oozed out his mouth as a growl. Take his omega away? He shifted his hands in position to summon a Shikigami.
“That’s more like it. But hey, I’m not the one you need to worry about. Isn’t that right, Sukuna?”
Sukuna’s blood red eye blinked. Megumi couldn’t ignore how menacing it looked through calloused fingers. It’s a warning: always watching. No matter how comfortable Yuji’s hot and heavy body felt on him.
“You don’t seem like the type to believe in God.” Gojo said. “So what is it for you? Fate? Destiny?”
“Neither. Unlike you weak jujutsu sorcerers, I have my own internal locus of control.” Sukuna sneered.
“Nice! That’s what I like to hear. Take all the initiative you’d like!” Gojo sounded like he was smiling eagerly. “Because no matter what you do, it won’t change the outcome.”
“I’m still empty!” Yuji lifted his head, eyes murky with confusion. “Why am I still empty?”
“Megumi will mate with Yuji tonight. He’ll deflower and mark your vessel and there’s nothing you can do about it.” Gojo teased.
“That’s exactly what I expected a fool like you to say.” Sukuna said.
“Mating?” Yuji’s sweet scent went sour. His voice rattled, “W-who said anything about that?” His grip on Megumi faltered, his body drifting away.
No. Don’t let go. Yuji…please...DON'T LET GO. Frustration bubbled. It always did each time Megumi got shaken up—negative emotions—would fizz before exploding. All he saw were blobs and dots and pinks. So much pink.
Pink the color of Yuji’s hair. Pink the color of Yuji’s cheeks. Pink the color of Yuji’s lips.
“SHUT UP! Everyone shut up!” Megumi snarled. “Nobody is allowed to treat Yuji like some disposable tool! Nobody disrespects what’s mine without a death wish!”
No, shit. He didn’t mean to yell that.
It had just slipped out…because it was like… Didn’t Yuji say his stomach hurt? Didn’t they care that Yuji was trying to rest?
Assholes. His thumb shakily mashed the end call button.
“Fucking play too much. Gojo sensei always messes around at the worst times.” Megumi felt a tug on his jacket and looked down to see Yuji touching his face to feel if Sukuna was still hanging around. His tone softened, his hand cascaded over Yuji’s sweaty forehead. “My bad. I didn’t mean to yell.” He was shaking so much. Damn it! Stop shaking! He couldn’t stop—
Yuji leaned inwards. The gap between them closed. Sweet and soft lips touched Megumi’s for a very short-lived moment of bliss.
Megumi froze, each breath releasing a bit heavier than the last. “Didn’t that scare you?”
“That was you doing your best for me.” Yuji smiled.
“Nnn, Yuji.” Megumi felt another snarl brewing in his chest. His lips replaced his hand on Yuji’s forehead. “My feelings for you…can’t be communicated through just a kiss.” He rolled his hips, peppering kisses all over Yuji’s face. “Do I scare you?”
“Fuck.” Yuji moaned and squirmed, eyebrows twitching, smile growing with each kiss. “Fuck—Megumi! You’re huge!”
“Shh…shh, I know. I swear, it’s gonna feel real good.” Megumi nuzzled Yuji's heat-flushed skin. “We just have to get it inside you.”
“It can’t!” Yuji gawked.
“Try. Try. We have to try.” Megumi pulled back, hands cupping Yuji’s face. “Do you think I would do anything to hurt my friends?” His eyes locked with Yuji’s. “Anything that would ruin our future together?”
Yuji shook his head, his cheeks were even more flustered than before, his eyes rolled upwards as his shoulders slumped over.
Megumi flipped their positions, slipping between Yuji’s thighs. His actions prompted low moans from Yuji’s mouth. He didn’t know how much longer he could keep control, hearing sounds like that.
The shift of contact threw Yuji into a frenzy, his strong legs locked around Megumi’s waist to keep their bodies together. Here. This was where he belonged.

Chapter 3: Yuji
Summary:
"Omega.” A tall shadow figure moved near him, the bed creaked eerily as the mattress dipped.
Yuji slammed his eyes shut. He felt a wave of heat. A low hiss near his ear made him jump, his legs opening to allow the scent of slick into the air.
“Mmm, strawberries.”
Yuji took the chance to open his eyes.
A pair of large fangs protruded from a drooling mouth.

Chapter Text
Yuji couldn’t smell Megumi anymore. He stretched out his hands, pawing at the air as he slowly sat up. A slight draft made him shiver—allowing him to take note of how the overbearing heat wave had fled his body.
“Well, well, well, look who finally woke up.” Sukuna grinned almost cunningly from his throne. “It pisses me off that each time you faint, you get transported here.” He drummed his fingers, eyes carefully examining him. “Do me a favor and stay quiet till you fully regain consciousness.”
Yuji brought a hand to his forehead. “Megumi?” All of a sudden he felt confused and scared.
“Didn’t I tell you to shut it?”
“Where is Megumi?” Alpha was supposed to be taking care of him. He was supposed to be wrapped up in warmth, curled against soft blankets and feeling the steady heart beat of his friend.
“No way he’s entering my domain, unless to die that is.” Sukuna jumped down. “And we both wouldn’t want that, would we?” A bit of water splashed over a pile of bones as he made his way towards him.
Yuji felt his body moving and saw his feet kicking. Backwards? A strong grip snatched him by his hoodie.
“Hey now, what did he do to you, kid?” Sukuna held him steady, “Stay still and let me inspect.” His hand moved towards Yuji’s neck.
Yuji took a shaky breath, “Screw off!”
He watched their reflection in the water below them. Sukuna’s long nails tracing a path to— ahhh. He bit down on his bottom lip. Rough fingers touched the scent glands on his neck. A pulsing feeling shot from his head to his toes. His eyelids grew heavy as his jaw slacked almost in awe. So good. That spot felt...really good.
Sukuna yanked Yuji’s head to the side.
“Ouch!”
“You know there are some things,” Sukuna paused, an eyebrow raised slightly. He tilted Yuji’s head in the opposite direction. “I can’t heal when I take over.”
“So what?” Yuji slapped Sukuna’s hand away. “You tricked me into making Megumi an alpha!”
“Yeah, and I should have known you would screw up a task like that. Your pheromones made him a prime alpha. That was an unexpected anonymity.” Sukuna grumbled, “Then, he scented you.”
“Why are you worried about it?” Yuji could barely remember what transpired earlier. His memories were foggy, his body recalled more touch than actual feeling.
“Don’t mistake my honesty for kindness.” Sukuna’s eyes rolled upwards as if he was already tired of the conversation. “I just don’t like the idea of being bound to someone forever. It’s bad enough, I’m stuck in here with you. But watching some meathead alpha boss you around, would be even worse. I’d probably have to kill ‘em.”
Yuji dug his nails into his palms. He forced himself not to move, not to slam a fist into Sukuna’s face. Just thinking about all the people Sukuna killed, all the people he helped Sukuna kill…it made him sick. “I didn’t really get what Gojo sensei was talking about at first, but now I think I understand. You’re afraid of it. If Megumi commanded me to do something, no if he commanded you to do something.”
“YOU’RE SO STUPID!”
Stupid? Yuji felt a sharp pain in his chest. That word hurt for some reason. He always assumed when Megumi said it, he didn’t actually mean it. But Sukuna’s version was cruel. “I know I’m not that smart. So that’s why I need an alpha like Megumi who thinks with his brain and acts with his heart.”
“I’m just advising not to throw away your freedom. Forever is a long time to spend with one person, especially with an alpha that can control every aspect of your life.”
“I wouldn’t give away my freedom to someone I didn’t trust. That’s why you’re not in control!”
“You really are an ungrateful brat.”
“Ungrateful?” Yuji repeated. How was it that a curse was trying to tell him about an emotion even they refused to show? “I will never be grateful to you! You’ve never done anyt—”
“Your friends.” Sukuna sat on his pile of victims. “It’s almost laughable how easily humans forget such details. Without me, you never would have met all those you hold dear.”
Yuji felt like he’d been punched, an aching feeling rose in his gut, his knees buckled.
“The same people you’re so bent on making sacrifices for, I brought them into your life.” Sukuna’s eyes gleamed devilishly. “I allowed you to meet them.”
“That...that’s not true! Megumi came to search for me. I met Megumi on my own!”
“Only because he thought you had my finger.”
“Megumi still...even when he found out I didn’t!” Yuji closed his eyes, trying to recall that day. The day it all went wrong. The day he decided the safety of humanity was worth more than his life.
“Don’t be delusional.”
Yuji opened his eyes to see Sukuna glaring at him. Their bodies barely an inch away from each other, but mentally on different levels.
“It’s so boring.” Sukuna sighed. “I made you relevant to your friends. There’s no way around it. Everything you are, you owe it to me.”
Owe it? But… “You’re evil!” Yuji shouted. “So just step off! I do things to help people!”
“In that case, who are you helping now?”
Yuji couldn’t ignore the conclusion his brain reached. No matter how he spun it: Sukuna did act as a catalyst to bring them together. The decision to be their friend? All his own. He chose to be friends with Megumi. He chose to be friends with Nobara. This feeling that lurked in his chest and the name for it: loving his friends was nothing more than Yuji helping himself.
“Hey Sukuna, you hate love cliches, right? Because that’s as you would say, pitiful humans heading towards their own self-destruction.” Yuji squeezed out the words and shook his head. “This will be nothing like that. Mating with Megumi is something I’m choosing.”
“Unbelievable. I wasn’t really expecting much because stupid is stupid, but it seems you’re blissfully stupid.” Sukuna tapped his chin. “Most alphas would take advantage of that for their pleasure. But Megumi…well, he never fails to entertain me.” A huge grin spread on his face. “Have fun, brat.”
Yuji woke up in a coughing fit. His throat no longer felt terribly dry, his headache subsided as his vision gradually returned: sheets, bed, pillows, empty bottles of water on the nightstand, a pile of shredded clothes by the bed. Why were his clothes off? A symphony of snarling and growling filled his ears.
“Omega.” A tall shadow figure moved near him, the bed creaked eerily as the mattress dipped.
Breath fled his lungs.
Hands blocked the horrid sight. Something warm and wet ran over him—a tongue—eased over his wrist, licking his scent gland. Yuji quivered, feeling dizzy at the sensation.
This smell. It was so familiar…Megumi’s?
He lowered his hands. The change in perspective allowed him to notice the huge, swollen cock that curled to Megumi’s stomach.
Need.
The thought bolted through Yuji’s mind. He needed. A deep cramping pain sent a torrent of slick down his thighs.
“Be…care…ful or you’ll faint again.”
Yuji felt arms hug his waist. Sharp teeth nipped at his skin. A pressure hooked on his scent gland. Whining. Megumi roughly sucked at the patch till it felt raw. His second fang threatened to seal the mark as it grazed over a tender spot that made Yuji shiver.
“Don’t wanna fuck you like that.” Megumi’s hands shifted, mapping the curves of Yuji’s body. One hand got a firm grip and the other left to thumb the tip of his cock. “Wanna fuck you like this.” He guided his erection to Yuji’s entrance.
It was so big.
Seeing it was different from feeling it—and now Yuji was about to feel it inside...
“Ngh...Megumi!” Yuji freaked, a strange sensation pulsed against his skin, slick and pre-cum smeared around his entrance as a familiar heat aligned itself. So close to penetration, but the muscle wouldn't give. Wasn’t Megumi going to prep him? No way...Megumi was really trying to stuff it all inside!
“Calm. Calm.” Megumi growled as if frustrated at Yuji’s sudden decision to squirm.
“I should be telling you to stay calm! Everything is happening so fast!” Yuji shuddered, his body struggled to make accommodations. An overly generous amount of slick steadily coated Megumi’s cock with each failed breach. “You weren’t acting like this bef—oooooooooh.” The word hit the air in a long drawn out moan as the tip slipped inside.
Such a little opening—Megumi widening Yuji with the tip little by little until his length sank in.
Yuji had never felt anything like it, wrapping himself around Megumi. It burned. Shrieks and whines fell from his mouth. Everything ached as his eyes squeezed shut.
“It's almost all the way in.”
Yuji tried to push down how non-reassuring those words were, the taste of tears trickled on his tongue.
“Don’t cry... Fuck. It just hurt so much. I couldn’t wait any longer. I couldn’t!” Megumi’s upper lip lifted in a snarl. His jaw snapped, powerful chompers biting the air in a frenzy. “I’m so bad! BAD! BAD! I messed up!”
“No. No!” Yuji quickly grabbed Megumi. The last thing he wanted was for him to accidentally bite his tongue. “I’m fi-” Fine? His whole entire body felt funny. “I’m not weak.”
“So…nnnngh…” Megumi buried his face in the curve of Yuji’s neck, his hips jerking to jam more cock in. “Keep being a good omega for me?”
“I’ll try.” Yuji sniffled and blinked away tears. “It’s just hard.” It was hard to focus. Megumi was too big. But he didn’t want him to start freaking out again. “My alpha goes crazy with worry about any little thing.”
The rough friction between his legs stopped.
Megumi raised his head, small and hungry pupils stared at him. Yuji forced a smile, looking past him to study the ceiling, searching for something to distract from the pain. Megumi slowly tilted back into his field of vision, a cheek pressed against Yuji’s outstretched palm. His eyes closed, long lashes fluttering as heat radiated against Yuji’s skin.
“It’s okay.” Yuji wheezed. He thumbed a circle on Megumi’s heated cheek. “I wouldn’t prefer him to be any other way.”
He took steady breaths as the last few inches sank inside. There was nothing to be afraid of, every bit was just Megumi expressing his love for him.
“Omega.” Megumi nuzzled a wet, slobbery kiss on each of Yuji’s fingers. “Always speaking nicely from those pretty lips. Only for me.”
“Mmmmm.” Yuji felt his face heat at the sight of his hand finally being kissed.
“Promise it.”
Yuji almost screamed as Megumi shifted around. “Only you.” The butterflies in his stomach stirred up, his head lulled back against the pillows, his hands fell to grip the sheets, his teeth slipped over his bottom lip.
“Don’t hold back!” Megumi bared his fangs, a hungry animalistic sound roared. “You talk loud any other-grrrrr…damn time. But now you act shy?” He snapped his hips. “Scream for me!"
“S-stay with me forever alpha! I…I love you.”
“Louder.”
“Ah... ah, ALPHA!”
“Tell the world who you belong to!”
Each bodily collision temporarily took Yuji’s breath away— so huge. Megumi filled up every part of him, never once fully exiting.
He felt his skin crawl, his insides churned. His senses, overwhelmed by Megumi’s scent. Alpha smelled so good, like maple syrup mixed with brown sugar. Alpha looked so hot, his arms protectively caging Yuji’s body, hips jutting back and forth, sweat beading, hair shadowing his eyes. Alpha. Alpha. Megumi. Megumi.
“MEGUMI!” Yuji threw his arms around him. His body jolted and shivered, “Megumi! My alpha! Megumi! My alpha! Megumi! Megumi! Megumi is my alpha!”
Megumi fucked him harder. Praises were rewarded in his ear, “Good omega. Good. Being so good. So tight.” He hissed under his breath. “Getting fucking tighter.”
Not getting tighter. Yuji felt Megumi getting bigger. He dug his claws in a mound of skin, unable to control his cries as Megumi’s knot expanded.
“Inside. Inside. Okay?” Megumi groaned, low and needy. “You won’t be empty anymore. I wa…you to-hh ...have my baby.”
Yuji couldn’t catch his breath to voice his opinion. Heat ravishes— Megumi’s seed —filled him. He screamed, grip slipping, arms flailing, an orgasm ripped through him.
His hips were still moving, not on his own—Megumi was slowly grinding him against his knot. Head thrown back, howling at the ceiling. Megumi’s mind, or what was left of it...completely gone.
Only alpha now, only his alpha.
“Soooo much, needed you.” Yuji slurred. His insides felt tingly and warm, welcoming every drop, yearning for each extra inch of knot.
“I know. Just look at you.” A pleasant growl released into the air, hands traveled over the swollen span of skin. “You...you look all cute and fat taking my knot.”
“It…Fe-feels...”
Megumi looked at the bulge of Yuji’s stomach and licked his lips. A feral excitement danced in his eyes. “Like my knot was made just for you.”
“It was! It was! It-It-My…my alpha’s knot!” Yuji didn’t even know what he was trying to say but injected as much thank you in his tone as possible. He never felt so full, this was amazing. “Give me more! More of you, Megumi! More! Megumi! More! I want lots more!”
“You will have all of me. I’m going to be grr…eedy. I’m going to make you mine.” Fangs dragged over the hollow of Yuji’s throat. Their mixed scents grew thicker, more intoxicating. “I’ll mark you, here.”
“Please!” Yuji moaned. “Plea—haaa?”
A languid sensation washed over him, pleasure pulsed from his neck and spread throughout his body. His jaw slacked. His toes curled. Drool slipped from the corner of his mouth.
Megumi covered Yuji like a hot noisy blanket. He was breathing so tiredly, yet his expression conveyed nothing but joy. His mouth peppered kisses on the point of pleasure, sending little shocks through Yuji’s nerves.
Yuji moved his hand till his fingers snaked between Megumi’s. Squeeze. Megumi’s fingers didn’t lock around his own, they twitched in sync with throaty growls. Squeeze. He felt so stuffed…in comfort, rocking gently against Megumi’s knot. Squeeze. Their bodies bonded together.
There was someone touching him. A soft nudge, then a bit stronger, a shoulder shake. His mouth didn’t want to work correctly, his tongue sluggishly rolled against his front row of teeth, “Morning already?” He managed to wiggle his fingers. For some reason, every bone in his body wanted to work in slow motion. He shifted his legs, trying to find a space where the sheets weren’t so soaking wet.
“It’s actually the afternoon, idiot. I let you sleep all morning.” That was Megumi’s voice, a bit hoarse, but back to normal. “How do you feel? Sore, tender?”
Yuji felt a hand run across the span of his back. A comforting scent filled his nose. His alpha. Alpha’s room. Alpha’s bed. He really could lay here a bit longer. Maybe a few more minutes?
Heated lips grazed against the delicate shell of his ear, “Don’t you dare go back to sleep. Answer me.”
His heart rapidly made its presence more aware in his chest. He took in longer lungfuls of air. “No. Just tired.” The empty feeling had deserted him, leaving a lethargic sensation in his body.
“Good then, wake up.” Megumi said. “Somebody’s knocking on the door. You want to throw some clothes on or something?”
“Not really.” Yuji cracked his eyes open.
Megumi pulled away, allowing a better view. His hair looked more sloppy than usual, but his eyes no longer had those dreary bags hanging under them.
“Glad to see you’re doing better. When you were in a rut last night, things got crazy.” Yuji wrapped a blanket around himself. It wasn’t nearly as warm or nice as when Megumi covered his body. But it smelled heavenly with their scents lingering on the fabric.
“I don’t remember.”
“Really? You were begging me to have your baby.”
“Not funny. Who would ever trust you to take care of a baby? You can’t even take care of yourself.”
“Bu-but you did!” Yuji sputtered.
“We just had sex. No big deal.” Megumi shoved his hands in his sweatpants pockets.
No big deal? The question lodged in Yuji’s throat. His stomach flip-flopped. The mating mark on his neck throbbed.
Another persistent knock came. “Hurry! Before I get caught!”
The door quickly opened and closed just as fast. Yuji wiped the sleep from his eyes: Nobara stood near the bed, holding three plastic bottles to her chest.
“Sheeeesh! What did you do to him, Megumi?”
A heck of a lot. Taking Megumi’s knot—wasn’t fucking easy. Yuji placed a hand over his stomach and rubbed his thighs together. Was it supposed to be no big deal?
“Nothing he didn’t want.” Megumi grabbed Nobara’s arm. “Wait. Don’t sit on that part of the bed. Let me get you a towel.” He gently guided her to the side, then walked over to the pile of boxes.
“What is with the boxes… ugh.” Nobara sighed. “You guys have a lot going on here. Almost makes me wish I didn’t skip practice.”
“You skipped for us?” Yuji sat up.
“Here.” Nobara smiled as if her worries had dissipated. “I brought juice. The one in the middle is yours. Megumi’s is on the left.”
“I love you so much, Nobara!” Yuji grabbed his apple juice and brought it to his lips, chugging the sweet liquid down his throat. He couldn’t down the trapped uneasiness—it was a big deal. They were bonded forever.
“Do you? Do you really? Or are you both going to stay here all day?”
“If you’re going somewhere, I’ll tag along.”
“Sweet! How about you, Megumi?” Nobara asked.
“Gojo sensei probably won’t look for you here.” Megumi neatly unfolded a towel and gestured for Nobara to sit. “Unless he just wants to be annoying and pop in on us.”
“That’s not why I’m leaving campus. I mean, it is smart as one of the reasons. But it’s the weekend!” Nobara handed Megumi a juice.
“So you just want to leave?”
“Long as it’s with the both of you, anywhere is fun.” Nobara pulled out her phone, thumbs moving quickly over the screen. “I was thinking of trying this new restaurant downtown that opened up. But if you’re not—”
“I didn’t say, I wasn’t going.” Megumi unscrewed the juice cap. He sat on the edge of the bed and took a long sip. His eyes drifted between them, and Yuji wondered if now was a good time to tell him how conflicted he felt.
“Hah!” Nobara peeked up from her phone. “Isn’t the omega supposed to be the one with attachment issues after the first time?”
“This isn’t because of Yuji. I trust he knows who he belongs to.” Megumi finally settled his eyes on Nobara’s flustered cheeks. “You said you wanted the both of us.” He took another sip of his juice. “So I’m going.”
Nobara nodded and squeezed her phone till her knuckles whitened. “The food looked really good. If we leave now. Well, you both still have to shower. Hmp, I wonder how many people will be there. I’ll probably just make a reservation for three people.”
Yuji slumped forward, he stole a view over Nobara’s shoulders to see pictures of food from the menu. “What is the plan if Gojo sensei catches us? I need to know or I’ll probably say something stupid.”
“The usual plan.” Nobara hummed. “We all agree that this practice skip is a team bonding exercise, so it will be fine.”
“I think he’s tired of that excuse because we use it every time we take the bus off campus.” Megumi mumbled.
“Yeah, sometimes I feel bad seeing the disappointment on his face that we never invite him.”
“He’s childish like that.” The soft tone of Megumi’s words didn’t quite match the insult. He thumbed at the juice label as if reflecting on something. “But I guess, sometimes it helps him be a good teacher.”
Yuji darted his eyes up and instantly they locked with Nobara’s.
HOLY.
SHIT.
Their fingers moved before their mouths did, poking Megumi: his shoulders, his arms, his sides. Occasionally, they brushed over that one spot that made him jump and crack a small smile. “YOU HAD A HEARTFELT MOMENT WITH GOJO SENSEI!”
“No.” Megumi said.
“You totally did!” Nobara grinned ear to ear. “You’re smiling!”
“No.” Megumi said, this time with a bit more assertion in his tone. “Don’t look too deeply into it. You both just tickled me.”
“Ugh! And I missed it!” Yuji whined. “When did it happen?”
“Be quiet, both of you!” Megumi ordered.
A mass of calming alpha pheromones filled the air and Yuji’s lips sealed shut.
Silence.
He shared a confused look with Nobara. She crossed her arms under her chest as her cheeks puffed up with words unsaid.
“Is this my scent?” Megumi rubbed the back of his neck to tamper the smell. “Damn, prime alpha genes. It wasn’t this easy before.” He rubbed his scent glands a bit harder. His gaze softened. “Sorry, if it takes time for me to openly express my affection. Words are dumb.”
“Only because you make them!” Yuji didn’t know why he vocalized that out of all the sentences to speak. “And I tried to help you! I kept scenting you, everyday to boost your confidence!” His tongue wasn’t stopping, it was released from its prison and running rampant.
Megumi stiffened like a trapped animal, his expression a mix between bafflement and anger.
“I made you a prime alpha! But did I stop there? No. Something happened to my friend. That’s a big deal to me!” Yuji hid his face under the blanket. The blanket that the three of them went to buy together. His blue blanket, their blue blanket. “It was probably stupid. I should have known better! Every time I try to help people, it gets ruined! I’m a menace to society!” He felt a hand pull him forward, his head met with a firm chest, fingers caressed his hair.
A deep rumble sent vibrations through his body as Megumi’s voice filled his ears. “That might be how everyone else sees you, but it’s not how I see you. I don’t care if that’s even how you see yourself, because it’s not true.”
Yuji bit back a whimper. He felt puffs of Megumi’s breath against his skin, so calm and steady, in contrast to the frenzy of his own.
“What Megumi means is, nobody else would ever try that hard.” A hand peeled away the blanket. “That’s why you’re our friend, Yuji.” Nobara’s nose nearly touched his, a knowing grin on her slips. “Mistakes and all.”
“Yeah but—”
“It pisses me off. And it’s not because I’m a prime alpha.” Megumi pulled him closer, as if urging Yuji to listen and understand this feeling in his chest. “All you did was amplify this to another level. That’s why it’s no big deal. It’s always been there.”
“Forever?” Yuji croaked.
Megumi kissed the top of Yuji’s head.
All the uneasiness vanished. Yuji inhaled the scent of his friends as he took in the moment: Nobara’s beautiful face, Megumi’s comforting arms around them. He didn’t want anything more in life. Not really. If things were to stay like this forever, each day a new adventure with the people he cared about the most. If he could have that… He smiled to himself.
