"Virgil!" Remus screamed as he approached his adoptive brother. Remus had run up to Virgil hugging the small emo man. Virgil squicked as Remus hugged him with Janus walking behind him up to the pair "I saw you in dad's designs on the billboard coming into school!" He screamed as he hugged Virgil "you looked so good in that purple suit with black rims!" Remus continued to say his prases before Janus was behind him with a hand on his soulmates shoulder "Remus, Doll although I agree with what you said I think maybe we should let Virgil process what you said first" Remus stepped back after looking overs Virgil dazed expression. Virgil soon looked at the two with his nervous look "h-has anyone else seen it?" he asked his social anxiety screaming that Remus was just being nice and the compliments weren't true and were actually for his dad since they were his designs he had been wearing. Remus and Janus smiled "I think everyone has seen the images, Virgil, everyone is talking about how good you looked in the pictures in dad's designs!" the day was pretty normal after that though day except when people would come up to Virgil to ask him out he had rejected them all of course.

"Roman!" his mother had softly called as Roman, Patton and Logan had walked into the Thrown room of the floating islands. She smiled sadly as she looked at the three "yes mother?" he asked as the three walked over "you wanted to see us?" he asked. His mother nodded as she spoke "it's regarding your last soulmate..." she started but was cut off by Roman "have you finally found him!?" he asked as he jumped in excitement. His mother frowned "no, Roman we have searched the whole of the islands of the powered but we couldn't find him, we even reached out to Rulers from other islands and even they couldn't find him" Roman deflated at what his mother said "t-then..." Patton put his hand on Romans shoulder with a sad look on his face "well..." his mother spoke again making the three look at her "there is still one place they could be dear" his mother said making her son smile with hope gleaming in his eyes as he looked at the names on his arms. His mother sighed "we believe your soulmate may be powerless Roman, being part of the 1% of powerless with soulmates.  so we have decided to send the three of you down there to find him" She held out a piece of paper for Roman to take "this is from the powerless's government it just says that you three are allowed down there to bring your soulmate here and that after there up here they will be able to go back and forth" she smiled at her son as he jumped around in joy with his soulmates.

it didn't take long to find a general area for where Virgil most likely was. his family was very well known and with Virgil modelling for his father now as well it made it easier. They had found a few images of the man whose name was on the arms and swooned at the sight, they quickly made their way to Rouber Multipilcat to find their missing piece.

Virgil had heard about the three new students coming to the school the morning after he had done another shoot for his father... he didn't understand why his father wanted him to model for him. Virgil sighed as the car pulled up outside the school as the driver passed him the note from his father before he left to enter the building. Virgil travelled to his first session as normal handing his teacher the note as he took his seat at the beach of the room in the corner "well it's good to know your here Virgil, even if you are late" she said as she went back to teaching. However, the name had caught another attention. Roman sat there hearing the mans name... stunned at how handsome the boy looked in person... the pictures really did him dirty.

Virgil, Remus and Janus had sat down for lunch when they started hearing the rumours about them. People weren't happy that Virgil was rejecting everyone that wanted him and they started to suspect that Virgil was in a secret relationship. Soon the student body had determined the most likely people he was with were his best friends. The three had all thought about it and decided to let the rumours spread out since that would make people leave Virgil alone instead of being asked out whenever he turned a corner.

However, what the three didn't remise is that this would lead to some problems...

"what do you mean he has two boyfriends?!" Roman screamed as he sat down with his soulmates below a cherry tree in the school field. Romans face dropped as Logan nodded to the pair, a similar look appearing on Patton's face. 

Slowly the sentence had sunk in the three all had separate feelings about it. Roman was instantly Jealous of what could have possibly possessed his soulmate to need to date people instead of them! "who are they?" Roman said quietly staring down at his lap with a clouded expression of anger and jealousy. Logan cleared his thought clearly nervous "well... the names I heard when asking around were Janus Snake and... " Logan looked away residing there or not to tell Roman... "... Remus Longhang... your twin brother"... 

"AHH!" Remus screamed as he was pushed up against the wall by his neck "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?" Roman screamed glaring daggers at his brother "is this some kind of revenge for being born powerless?" angry tears start to form in Romans eyes as he continued to scream at Remus who looks like he's just seen a ghost. Remus gulps remembering his brothers' aggressive tendencies when he didn't get his way as a child "what the fuck are you doing here?" he asked before dorning a look of confusion "and what are you on about?". Romans face went red with fury as he pushes Remus again against the wall putting more pressure on his neck "my soulmate Remus! you took my soulmate from me!" Roman looked ready to kill his brother. 

"S-soulm-mate?" Remus said as he took some deeps breaths because it was so hard to breathe with all the pressure on his neck. Remus wheezes "w-what are you on about?" Roman once again tightens his grip "my Soulmate Remus! Your dating my soulmate... AHH," Roman screams and falls to the floor as Remus kicks him falling as well trying to breathe. when he caught his breath he looked to his brother who is still curled on the floor weeping from both pains from his brother brail and where Remus had kicked him full force. Remus then said "I'm dating my soulmate, I have never even gone near Patton or Logan so shove off! I'm..." Remus was cut off by Roman looking over with a glare cutting the man off "I HAVE THREE SOULMATES! Patton, Logan AND Virgil Black you idiot!" Roman continues to cry as Remus looks shocked... Remus quickly stands up not caring about his slight lack of breath as he ran, straight past Patton and Logan, Right out of the school and straight home. What the fuck is Roman on about? Virgil isn't his soulmate... right?

When Remus burst through the door to see Janus and Virgil sat watching beauty and the beast cuddling like normal. Remus walks up to the pair and pulls Virgil up by his colour to look him in the eyes "Remus, what are you doing?" Janus asked about getting up before Remus spoke "Virgil! I need you to be COMPLETELY honest with me, what are the names on your arm?!" he said with an urgency not letting Virgil look away. Virgil gulps as he resists the names he had memorised "Logan crofter, Patton Loyal and Roman Longhang..." Virgil didn't get a chance to say anything before he was shoved back into Janus and the couch "for the love of god!"

Patton and Logan rush to Roman side picking up their prince. Logan checking him over as Patton hugged the shaking and sobbing man who had his head pushed into Patton's shoulder. They continue to sit there until Roman had claimed down as Logan decided that Roman had no obvious injuries before converting his prince with a hug. 

"I can't believe that he doing this" Roman said once he has calmed down. Logan rubbed his back, although he wasn't that good with emotions since meeting Roman and Patton at 11 when Roman had gotten his soul mark on his 10th birthday and started his search. Logan was upset as well but knew that his prince's emotions were a lot more prominent than his in a physical aspect. Logan's mind went to Remus face of shock and horror as he ran past. It didn't seem to be for his brother. Remus hadn't looked like he was going to run until Roman had said Virgil's name. Something seemed off with that. Logan looked at his two lovers before speaking "something doesn't seem right, Remus seemed to be more focused on the name than the actual accusation..." The two had looked at Logan hope was soft but there as the two made eye contact with Logan. "... maybe there is something more to what that person said about the two datings than we had been informed."

"what do you mean that's your brother!" Virgil screamed as Remus explained what had happened "my soulmate..." he pointed to Remus from where he was "... is your brother!" Virgil then took notice of what else Remus had said "wait! he tried to kill you! are you ok!?" Virgil started to check Remus over as Janus helped. They determined that he needed an ice pack for his neck as it was red and that he needs to be watched for a while. Remus then spoke again as the two cuddled him as he faced Virgil "he's at the school by the way Virgil, all three of them... They think we-" he points to the three of them in a circular motion "- are dating. That's why he was freaking out at me. He thinks me and Janus have stolen you away because of the rumours about us three around the school..."  

Virgil stares at Remus... so it's my fault that Remus got attached... "so what do we do?" He asked as he pushed the thought to the side. Remus and Janus looked at each other seeing Virgil face "nothing at this moment. We are going to sit here and watch some movies then come up with a solution for this situation" Virgil does agree to do what Janus had said, needing a distraction.

the next time the six see each other apart from distant glares and classes is a sunny afternoon around a month after what they dubbed the 'twin incident '. Virgil has had multiple panic attacks after that... none that his soulmates' have seen.  Remus and Janus have been looking after the man who is scared to meet his soulmates properly... Virgil has always been scared of anyone with powers. So now that Virgil knows not only are his soulmates not only all have powers but one is the prince of their land... Virgil was scared. His anxiety has been playing up a lot since then. He had to stop doing shoots for his dad at this time due to the overall panic that came with it. 

Today was the day that Virgil's anxiety could be set off by anything... Virgil was able to hold back all the panic until Lunch. Then as he was stood there with Remus and Janus it all came out... Virgil started to breathe heavier and slightly curl up as his eyes follow everything that moved around him. It took a moment but Janus and Remus look over to Virgil to get an answer to the question they had asked, only to see Virgil's panic stained face. 

They quickly got Virgil outside away from most people. there they start to calm the boy down with the 4-7-8 method. However there concern for Virgil's panic made them miss the three figures sat under a tree not too far from them just out of earshot. 

The three heard the three exit the building from where they sat and scowled. They had been trying to catch Virgil alone for a month to try and get him to see reason but he always seems to be around Remus and Janus. They would get a scowl which they assumed was a threat about trying to taking Virgil away from the two (in reality it was protection about all of them pressuring Virgil to be with them.) 

Roman had instantly growled and Patton frowns at the sight of what seemed like the three sharing kisses from the angle and area they were in. However Logan made out that that probably wasn't the case, he noticed that Virgil's body language showed him to be unconformable and panicked... 

"I don't think Virgils enjoying whatever is happening over there... His body language looks to be panicked and unconformable with whatever the other two are doing to him" he said starting to stand up "maybe we should intervene?" asked Patton who was the only one not standing. Roman was the first to walk over blood pumping behind his ears with anger as he summoned a sword to get the two away from his soulmate. 

As he approached Janus turned to see him, shock clear in his eyes. He turns back to Remus "R-Remus! y-your b-b-brother is coming over... he doesn't look too happy" he said before Remus turned "you calm him down and ill deal with him." Remus summons a morning star out of sight of Virgil not wanting him to panic over the sight as Janus continued the exercise in his place as he walks towards his brother keeping him away from his friend.

Logan and Patton quickly get past as the two were fighting on the field. They rased over to Virgil but pause at what Janus said "Virgil, your safe. just do your breathing exercises" Janus spoke quietly eyes flickering to everywhere on Virgil tapping on Virgil's knee. 

Janus didn't even seem to analogue the Two stood a few feet away. Logan started trying to figure out what was going on as Janus continued to tap Virgils arm with a steady beat which seems strange until Logan put all the pieces together... shaking figure, curled up body, hands clinging to head and someone tapping his arm saying he was safe...

"shit, they were helping him not terrorising him" Janus turned at Logan's words but doesn't stop tapping Virgil's arm "why the fuck would we do that. He's Remus's brother and my best friend you ass holes!" Janus said this with venom and a slight hint of fury hidden in his tone.

Janus turned back to Virgil as he continued to tap and say calming words to the shaking man in front of him "wait so you aren't dating?" Patton asked as Roman and Remus turn to the pair as Roman is on the floor listening as Remus keeps him down making his brother listen "No!" Janus said with anger "we just wanted people to leave him alone! that's why we didn't address the rumours" Janus once again turns back to his friend continuing his tactics to calm the man down.

It took around 20 minutes to calm Virgil down from the state he was in, Even now he is still wrapped around himself as he sits looking at everyone. He was scared still of his soulmates but not as much, Remus had said about how powered people don't often hurt people unless provoked and his brother cares too much about soulmates (specifically telling him how Roman, used to run around him saying how he was going to have his soulmates by the end of his 10th birthday AND have them fall in love with him. Virgil had laughed and pushed it to the back of his mind for later laughs.) to ever hurt him. 

Logan, Patton and Roman sat away from the wall, at Janus' request. Remus and Janus sat on either side of Virgil against the wall. Virgil had agreed to talk however now the three sat in front of him are silent. They all sat there in silence before Janus spoke.

"who said we were dating?" he asked knowing that they had come to the school as the rumours had started. Virgil was closer to Janus than Remus as Janus was the one to finally calm him down and his brain knew he was safe. He also knew Remus was safe but his brain was favouring Janus still a little panicked from what had happened. " a girl around school, I haven't seen her again since and I didn't get her name. I overheard the comment and asked the and her friends about it." Logan had said looking down. Patton put his hand to his arm giving him a comforting touch as they looked to the others "we're sorry for stressing you out" Patton said softly as he fiddled with his trousers with his other hand "why were the pair of you glaring at us then?" Roman asked the other two giving them a Glare himself. Remus glared back before responding "you're still an idiot brother. Virgil has anxiety! he often panics about things... like being confronted by people he doesn't know". Remus then gestured to Virgil and his form where he is curled upon himself. 

Roman looked as if he had been shot. He shifts where he was sat as Virgil looks down in shame of his disorder which he had no control of, it was genetic and He just got the gean. Roman looked overseeing how Virgil sat and sighed at the sight. Janus sighed and wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him close to give him comfort. Roman looked shocked until he saw he much Virgil had calmed at the touch seeing the shift in deminer. 

Roman doesn't say a thing and never do Patton and Logan. Logan was next to speak "we are sorry, we shouldn't have taken someone else's words as truth and should have asked one of you calmly. We acted like children" Virgil raised his head from where he was staring at his legs "it's fine. I can see where the rumours came from and hearing them must have been upsetting" Virgils voice was ruff from the crying he had done. Roman had a slight tint of red on his face which matched Virgils... Janus laughed at their faces softly and the other two looked just as flushed but their faces didn't show it. Remus just smiled "I did want to ask about what you said... um Janus?" he nodded at the question, "you said Virgil was Remus' brother?" The other two looked at him in shock at that. They were quite confused. Remus nodded "yeah, Virgil's parents adopted me when Mother and Father kicked me out for being 'powerless'" he made quote marks, when he said powerless and Roman, looked at him confused "but you don't have..." Roman stopped talking...

"WAIT!" he shouted suddenly as Virgil jumped. He looked at the three "how the hell did you get that morning star!?" he asked as he looked at Remus "that's not all I can do" suddenly there were octopus tentacles coming from his back rapping there was around Janus and Virgil. Janus groaned "I wish you were powerless!" he reached over making the man softly on the shoulder. 

Virgil giggled at his friends unwrapping himself a little letting his joints go lax but keeping his arms wrapped around his knees and Logan took notice of that... that sparked a conversation about how Remus' powers had shown up at the age of 14 instead of 9 like most people because he was a late bloomer. it was rear but it still happened. they told them how Virgil's parents didn't care if he had powers as they considered Remus their son and nothing less. soon Logan turned to Virgil "well maybe we could get to know each other better with Remus and Janus around until your comfortable around us?" Logan asked making eye contact with Virgil a soft none pressuring look in his eyes. Virgil smiled "id like that"...
