Work Text:
It’s been almost a year now since Erwin first encountered the oddities of the forest his new home lies deep in the middle of. At first it had just been a strange-looking flower here, an unrecognizable animal noise from the woods there… Of course, his real estate agent had been obligated to warn him that the past several occupants of the house had gone missing, and that the locals refused to enter the woods under any circumstances. But after the war, there wasn’t much Erwin was afraid of, and a house in the middle of the woods where no one would bother him was exactly the type of place he was looking for.
Now that he knows what secrets lie in these woods, he’s surprised it took him so long to notice. The forest he put upon himself to move into is actually home to the last remaining magical creatures on Earth. It’s been centuries since humanity has believed any of these creatures are real and that is by design. After being hunted nearly to extinction, the magical beings gathered in one spot and put their last effort into hiding away from the rest of the world and becoming myths.
Any human infringing on their borders has met a quick end. The reason Erwin has lasted this long is due to one simple reason. Somehow, despite his lack of understanding, he managed to gain the respect of the fairy prince.
It still feels funny to even think the words “fairy prince”, but that’s exactly what and who his new friend is.
One day, nearly a month into living here, he finally ran out of his stock of firewood, so he ventured into the woods to find a good tree to chop down. One big enough to last a long time.
~~~
It happens precisely two seconds after the first swing of his axe into the bark of the tree. The sound of insect wings flying at the back of his neck is loud. Has to be a huge bug. On instinct, he switches the axe to one hand and swats at the back of his neck with his other.
He hits something alright. But it isn’t an insect. He can’t believe the sheer size of whatever his hand hit. He looks at his palm, expecting to see a bunch of insect guts, but there’s nothing on it besides what looks like some blue dust. Then he looks down to the ground for the fallen bug and can’t believe his eyes.
Lying on the ground, stunned, is a tiny man. His wings are a translucent blue and one is bent out of shape a bit. Erwin quickly falls to his knees to get a better look. The little man is moving a bit, holding his hand to his head, trying to recover, so at least he didn’t kill him. Looking closely, the little man’s clothes appear as intricately designed as anything human-sized would be. Amazing. Beside the fairy -that is what this is, Erwin realizes: A fairy - are a couple of swords. They look to be made of some sort of crystal. The little man gropes blindly for the handle of one of said swords and that’s when Erwin realizes this creature might be dangerous. If he hadn’t smacked him, would the fairy have sliced those blades into his neck?
Erwin pinches the blade between his fingers and takes it out of reach of the fairy as well as the other sword. Then he puts his hand on his chin and watches, waiting for the fairy to regain his senses. After a few moments, the little man finally sits up and looks at him. Erwin expects him to be at least a little frightened to have a giant face so close to him, but the fairy just scowls and jumps to his feet.
He looks wildly around for his swords and when he sees them resting on Erwin’s lap, he dashes for them. Erwin reacts quickly, picking the swords up and holding them out of reach. The little man shouts something at him in a language Erwin doesn’t recognize and then starts climbing up his shirt. It really does remind Erwin of a bug and he has to restrain his laughter.
Careful of his wings, Erwin wraps his hand around the little man and holds him away from himself. The fairy doesn’t go easy, however. He struggles violently even with his arms pinned and even bites Erwin’s thumb. Erwin has felt a lot worse pain in his life, though. He doesn’t even flinch.
Seeing that his tactics aren’t working, the fairy stops struggling and glares up at him. He begins talking, a long string of words Erwin doesn’t understand. The language is elegant and he can tell the little man is well-spoken, whatever he is saying. Erwin’s lips quirk up. This fairy is trying for diplomacy now after his whole sneak attack literally going for Erwin’s neck. The audacity.
It’s then that Erwin notices the little crown of vines and leaves on the fairy’s head. Ah, that makes sense. Of course this is a prince. Or perhaps a king. It’s hard to say when communication is impossible and the being appears ageless. He can’t tell if the man is a young adult or middle-aged. How long do fairies live anyways? He could be centuries old for all Erwin knows.
The fairy talks a bit more before he stops with a huff, having realized Erwin doesn’t understand him at all and is just content to study him. Then the little man looks away into the distance as if bored with the whole situation. Resigned to his fate maybe? Erwin wonders what the fairy thinks he’ll do to him. Eat him?
What will he do with him? The child in him wants to go find a jar and poke holes in the lid like he used to for fireflies. But this isn’t some bug he can keep to look at whenever he likes… no matter how pretty he may be. He has to let him go.
Erwin stands, careful not to jostle the fairy and looks for a low branch to put the fairy on. He doesn’t think he can fly with that bent wing, so it wouldn’t be good to leave him on the forest floor where there are more predators.
When he releases the fairy, he receives another couple sentences from him that he can vaguely hear confusion in. The chittering stops when Erwin places the swords down beside the fairy on the branch.
“Sorry about your wing,” Erwin says though he knows it’s futile. “But you did attack me first.”
The fairy’s mouth is agape as Erwin smiles at him. Then Erwin turns and goes back to his task. It’ll be cold tonight if he doesn’t get this wood. He’s careful not to lower his guard, though. Who knows what else the fairy might have up his sleeve or if there are others out there waiting to ambush. If the fairy is out here alone, surely he must be a prince and not a king, he theorizes.
As Erwin swings at the tree, he can vaguely hear the little fairy yelling at him in anger. It occurs to him that this tree might be the fairy’s home or at least special to him in some way, and maybe that was why he got attacked. His axe hesitates. Looking at the fairy, he chooses a different tree to swing his axe at. As he raises the axe, however, the fairy seems just as angry. Erwin lowers his axe with a sigh.
What should he do? If there are more where this fairy came from, he doesn’t want an angry horde of insect-men coming for him because he chopped down a tree. He’s also acutely aware that he’s the one invading their home. He’s felt this awful feeling too much for one lifetime. At least he managed to get out of the army before it was too late and he lost more than a limb. He got out at just the right time too. A couple years later, and they would have kept him in even with a bionic arm since they discovered how to make them as functional as real ones if not even stronger.
Erwin decides to compromise. He finds a tree that has plenty of branches and lifts his axe high. In one deft swing, he brings the axe down on a generously thick branch, cutting clean through it. He sneaks a peak at the fairy, who is noticeably silent. He can’t decipher the look on the little man’s face, but at least he isn’t yelling. With the axe in his flesh hand and branch in the bionic hand, he makes his way back to his new home.
After that, Erwin expects to see more of the fairy, and he does. It takes a few days, but the fairy shows up at his house. Surprisingly, not only is he flying again, but he’s come alone. Erwin half expected an army. The fairy prince doesn’t get close, but watches him from afar. Erwin doesn’t particularly like being watched, but there’s not much he can do about it. He goes about his new life as usual. The more days that drag by, the more Erwin begins to wonder what the fairy wants from him. Is he waiting to see if Erwin will go cutting down more trees so he can yell at him again? The branch he cut was massive and will last a bit longer this time of year. But eventually, Erwin does have to go out for more wood. He sees the fairy following him from the corner of his eye and prepares himself for another attack. He decides to go straight for another branch instead of a whole tree in the hopes it might pacify the little angry thing.
He swings his axe again, taking a whole branch in one go. Again, the fairy is silent. He just watches Erwin with that strange look on his face again.
They fall into this pattern for weeks, and Erwin keeps expecting the fairy to get bored of watching him. His lifestyle isn’t exactly interesting. But the little guy seems obsessed somehow. So much time has passed, but he still hangs around outside Erwin’s house. Erwin wonders if he just doesn’t have anything to do at all besides watch the sole human in the forest. Perhaps to the fairies, humans are as mythical as they are.
Erwin eventually gets used to having him around, and the fairy becomes more lax around him. It becomes less of a “I’ve got my eye on you” sort of feeling, and almost a “hey I’ll keep you company” sort of feeling. At least that’s how it feels to Erwin. Even the most reclusive of people get lonely sometimes. It’s nice to have another face around, even if it’s a miniature one that scowls more often than not.
Erwin takes to woodworking in his spare time. It’s a hobby to give himself something to pass the time. He doesn’t make anything big. He thinks Levi would probably still get mad all over again if he tries to chop down a whole tree. That’s what he’s decided to call the fairy prince since he grew tired of thinking “fairy this” “fairy that”. And it’s not like he can ask his real name. Sometimes Levi chatters at him in annoyance and Erwin replies with placating nonsense in return. He thinks it’s somewhat like having a cat that meows at you and you talk back as if you understand. Although Levi is obviously more intelligent than a cat.
What really won Levi over was the miniature furniture that Erwin began crafting for him. He makes cool little tables and chairs and even a small throne in a fantasy style that he picked up from watching Lord of the Rings back in the day. Levi spends most of his time nowadays lounging sideways in that throne, watching Erwin from a mere couple feet away as he works. It’s amusing how much he likes it. Before long, there’s a whole table full of little trinkets and furniture Erwin has made for him. And sometimes Levi brings his own stuff to add to it. He brings a cushion that looks to be made of velvety flower petals to use on the throne. There’s a growing pile of little snacks he’s brought that Erwin decides to make a little cabinet for. Then Levi starts leaving weapons behind, so Erwin makes a tiny sword rack for him to hang them on. One day, Levi comes with a large bag just full of clothes and Erwin can’t stop from laughing. Is the little guy moving in?
Of course Levi doesn’t actually move in. Once winter is over and spring arrives, Levi does spend more time away. Despite bringing so many things to Erwin’s place, it seems like the time between visits grows longer and longer. At first he thinks Levi is just finally getting bored with him. But he notices the bags beneath his eyes are deeper every time he comes back and he seems worn out. Erwin wonders if there’s something going on in the fairy kingdom, but there’s no way he can ask.
The way Levi watches him changes, too. There’s a thoughtfulness behind his eyes, like there’s something he’s been contemplating. Erwin wishes he could just talk to him. Actually converse with him, not just prattle on like he sometimes does as he works and Levi “listens”.
It’s one of these such times when Erwin is mid-conversation with Levi (in other words, talking to himself) that he looks over to find Levi asleep. He’s in his usual position, feet draped over the arm of his little throne, head propped up by his elbow, but his eyes are closed and his mouth is lax. Erwin sets down his tools and moves closer, careful not to wake him. It’s the first time Levi has ever fallen asleep here. He doesn’t think he’s been able to lower his guard enough for it. Erwin watches the slow rise and fall of his chest and takes the opportunity to get closer and look properly at him. From the little tufts of eyelashes, to the tiny little stitches in his clothes, Erwin takes it all in, still after all this time, hardly able to believe Levi is real. He takes in the detailed texture of the shimmering blue wings and assures himself he isn’t losing his mind. How could he possibly conjure up something so beautiful and perfect?
Levi really does seem tired though. Erwin wonders if he would appreciate it if Erwin made a little bed for him or if it would put him off. He doesn’t think Levi meant to fall asleep at his home in the first place. He wonders if he could find whatever type of flower Levi used for the petals on his throne cushion so he can make cushions for a bed. It’s been a year since he moved into this house and met Levi. It would make a nice gift, he decides. Thus, he goes out in search of materials.
As always, he remains aware of his surroundings out in the forest. Since meeting Levi, he’s seen a number of other creatures thought to be mythical and others he’s never even heard of. He’s got a book back at the house filled with sketches of said creatures with notes written beside them. He never gets too close, however. Not after the time Levi had to save him from a carnivorous mushroom. He steers clear of anything strange, searching for those familiar petals.
Its takes a while before he finds them, but when he does, he’s amazed by how many there are. A whole part of the forest is just covered in the red flowers. They grow on vines that stretch all the way up the trees. He treads carefully, aware that a scene like this is usually dangerous in any fictional fantasy setting. He brought gloves with him. He knows the petals can’t be poisonous since Levi uses them as a cushion, but that doesn’t mean the entire plant is docile. Better to be safe than sorry. He wouldn’t be surprised if all these flowers were babies and there was a huge flower monster hidden in the midst of all this red waiting to devour him. His mind gets carried away imaging the scenario as he begins plucking flowers and putting them in his bag, that he doesn’t immediately notice the growing buzzing sound.
As it turns out, it’s not some giant monster flower he needed to worry about. It’s the insects living in the flowers. Erwin finally notices when one moves near his hand. There are hundreds- thousands- of red wasp-looking bugs that nearly blend in with the flowers all around. He finally notices the buzzing as it grows in intensity in reaction to his presence. He decides it’s time to retreat. He has plenty of flowers.
He backs away slowly, careful not to touch more red than he has to. He can tell they’re watching him. Some get stirred up as he moves and now fly around him at a short distance. Even as he exits the red part of the forest, a few still follow him, their buzzing an intimidating presence. They become more daring. Once one takes a swipe at him, they all do. Erwin decides it’s time to run. He cuts through the forest, only affording as much care as he can spare not to stir anything else up. He soon realizes he can’t outrun the strange insects. He stops, using his bag to try and swat the bugs out of the air. He does a good job of not getting stung, but there’s so many any one or two have already gotten close. He doesn’t know the consequences of getting stung. It could be a normal bug sting for all he knows and he is just overreacting…. or it could be deadly. He doesn’t want to find out.
Suddenly, a familiar flit of wings reaches his ears. With a small battle cry, Levy goes flying past his ear, slashing one of the insects in two before it could get to Erwin. Then everything shifts. It’s as if Levi’s presence has riled up the insects to the brink of madness. They completely forget Erwin, darting after Levi with single-minded intent. With a blade in each hand, Levi cuts through them one after the other. To Erwin, it’s all a blur of movement in the air above him. He watches on with worry, unable to help as they’ve taken the fight out of his reach. It’s not like he could swat at them anyways the way they’re swarming around Levi. He would hit his fairy friend too.
The feeling of watching Levi slowly losing ground against the swarm is one of the worst Erwin can remember feeling. And he’s seen some shit. He sees Levi get hit a couple of times. A stinger to a human is but a small pinprick. To a fairy, it must be like getting stabbed with a blade.
“Levi!” He yells up, helplessly.
Enraged, Levi swirls in the air, dispersing the swarm that had engulfed him. He moves with intensity, thinning out the insects in large numbers. But eventually he begins to slow. Either from exhaustion or some effect of the stings, his moves become sluggish.
There are only a few more insects, though. Erwin watches with bated breath as it takes all Levi’s effort to take one out. Two more. Another. Until there’s only one left. The moment he slashes through it, it’s like all his energy leaves him. He loses altitude, slowly drifting down to where Erwin stands, hands outstretched, ready to catch him.
Levi’s scarce weight lands in Erwins palms and he curls his fingers around him gently and pulls him close. It’s the first time Erwin has touched him since he grabbed him the day they met. The fairy is breathing hard, and his eyes look unfocused, but the damage doesn’t look as bad as Erwin had feared. There’s no blood coming from the wounds, but he can see the little holes in Levi’s clothes where the stingers went through. Erwin’s hands are shaking. All the sudden, Levi feels so fragile.
He waits for Levi’s breathing to calm down from the fight, but it never does. If anything, he starts breathing harder. His face is scrunched up in pain. Erwin doesn’t know what to do. Surely the fairies would know how to treat him, but he has no clue where they live. He’s gripped with the piercing fear that he might lose Levi. And it would be Erwin’s fault. Again.
Erwin squeezes his eyes shut as he listens to Levi’s haggard breathing. He opens his eyes when he feels Levi move in his hands. He watches as the little fairy tries to find his feet. His wings flutter a bit erratically as he fights to keep his balance. Erwin offers his thumb for Levi to cling to as he stands. He feels a twinge of hope at seeing Levi moving around, but he can also hear little pained noises coming from him.
All at once, Levi makes like he’s about to jump from Erwin’s hand. Before he realizes what he’s doing, he’s curled his fingers around Levi forming a loose cave to keep him in.
“You can’t go,” Erwin says desperately. He wouldn’t be able to handle it if Levi left now and never showed up again. “Please.”
Levi looks up at him with heavy-lidded eyes and slumps against Erwin’s fingers. He looks pitiful and slightly aggrieved to be trapped by Erwin, but at least he doesn’t try to fight free. Not even when Erwin releases his hold on him. He just stares at Erwin, clinging to his fingers for support. After a long moment of this intense eye contact, Levi’s eyes suddenly squeeze shut as he whines. He’s wriggling Erwin’s hand and again Erwin wishes he knew how to help. And then something in the way Levi is moving changes. It takes a moment for Erwin to be sure he’s not imagining it. Levi is grinding his hips against Erwin’s fingers in a needy manner. Erwin almost drops him.
Levi huffs at him and rubs his face against the pad of a finger. Erwin forces himself to look away as Levi continues the sensual actions with his hips. Erwin’s mind is spinning. This doesn’t feel real. There’s no way Levi would be acting like this. He’s behaving like he’s drugged-
Erwin’s eyes snap back to Levi. Did the insects somehow drug him with their stings? But why? He contemplates the possible close relation between fairies and insects and decides not to think too much further on that. All he can do- all he should do- is turn his head and let Levi get this out of his system with some dignity left. He goes to put Levi somewhere on the ground, maybe somewhere tucked away and private so he can take care of his business while Erwin keeps an eye out for threats. But when he lowers his hand to the ground, Levi clings tighter to him. The noise he makes is downright petulant. And when Erwin tries again, Levi nearly sobs.
Erwin can’t find it in him to try that again. He settles for looking intently away as Levi proceeds to rub himself all over Erwin’s hand. Thanks to modern science- or medicine at this point- he actually has some feeling in his bionic arm. It’s not as sensitive as his real hand, but he can still more or less feel what’s happening. When he feels something poke between his pointer and middle finger, he can’t help but look if only to see if that’s what he thinks it is.
It definitely is. Levi’s bared hips are flush against the inside of his fingers as the head of his cock peeks through the gap of Erwin’s fingers. Erwin flushes despite himself. Is this really necessary? Surely Levi’s own hand would be better. But he takes in the way Levi is rubbing his face against the skin of Erwin’s fingers- and it is his skin. They were able to grow skin cells from his DNA for the bionic arm- and he realizes maybe the insects’ toxin makes Levi crave the touch of others. Subtly, Erwin presses his fingers tighter together for Levi to have as much pressure as he needs as he pushes his cock repeatedly through the gap.
Erwin tried to be decent. He really did. But his eyes keep drawing back to the action in his hands, to Levi. The fairy is completely lost in it, bracing himself against Erwin’s fingers and fucking them. There’s a stirring in Erwin’s gut, but logically there’s absolutely nothing he can, or ever could, do about it, so he shoves it down. If his own eyes become glazed over with lust, though, he has no way of hiding it. Levi isn’t paying attention anyways.
Levi’s movements begin to stutter as his little noises grow louder and desperate. The space between Erwin’s fingers has long been wet, but he feels it get even wetter as Levi suddenly becomes boneless. He lands in Erwin’s palm. Sweaty and panting. Erwin decides it’s probably time to look away again. No need to make this any more awkward than it needs to be when Levi regains his senses.
But Levi doesn’t regain his senses. Erwin is drawn back by a long heartbreaking sob. Levi definitely came, but now he’s tugging desperately at his still very hard cock. It’s obvious, though, that Levi is running out of energy fast. He no longer looks like he’s enjoying himself. Rather, it’s like he’s on the verge of tears from how frustrated he is.
Erwin’s eyebrows shoot into his hairline as the fairy flips himself over grinding his dick into Erwin’s palm and bringing his hand to his backside. Of course Erwin knows that there is pleasure to be sought there. He just never expected someone like the fairy prince to jump straight into it the way he’s plunging his fingers into himself. If Erwin had difficulty looking away before, it’s impossible now.
It seems to satisfy Levi for a short while, before he starts huffing and whining again as his fingers lose their strength and slow their thrusting without his say in the matter.
Erwin watches as Levi tragically gives up. His body slumps, utterly exhausted and liquified by the toxin. His tiny body shakes with his tears and Erwin wonders if it’s possible for a fairy to die from the toxin if they don’t get satisfied. Nature can be cruel.
He doesn’t feel like he should touch, but the urge is too difficult to resist. Gently, he touches the spot between Levi’s wings, drawing his finger down his spine in what Erwin hopes is a comforting manner. As his finger trails lower, Levi’s back arches with the touch. And when Erwin pulls his finger away, Levi shifts to look at him. His eyes are pleading.
To Erwin’s shock, a word leaves Levi’s mouth. It sounds foreign and rough from a non-native speaker, but it’s definitely English.
“Please..”
Erwin wonders where Levi learned the word. But that’s not important. What’s important is that Levi is begging him for help. Erwin has to do something. He’s allowed to do something.
For now, he repeats his action, tracing Levi’s spine. The fairy tucks his head back down and moves his hips against Erwin’s palm along with the movement of Erwin’s finger. Erwin contemplates what to do. There aren’t a whole lot of options. Coming to a decision, he pulls his hand away, bringing his pinky to his mouth. First, he bites his nail all the way down to the nub ensuring there are no sharp edges. And then he costs the whole thing in saliva. He looks at his smallest finger for a long moment, letting it sink in what he’s about to do. Or attempt. He’s not entirely sure this will work.
Second-thinking, he holds his pinky up to the length of Levi’s body to compare. From tip to knuckle, his pinky is as long as the length between Levi’s shoulders and his ass. If he’s to do this, he would have to be so careful. Not to mention the thickness.
He starts by nudging the sensitive opening of Levi’s rear where the man’s tiny fingers have already been busy. The place is sensitive and the simple touch sends Levi squirming and whining. But he doesn’t try to pull away. He tries to press back. Erwin uses his thumb to press down lightly on Levi’s shoulders, holding him still. Levi’s arms wrap around his thumb as the tip of Erwin’s pinky lightly circles the rim. Erwin is patient, but Levi is not. Luckily, Erwin is the one with the strength or else Levi would hurt himself.
After a long time testing the resistance, Erwin slowly applies a bit of pressure against the opening the rosy flesh tenderly begins to give way, allowing the tiniest bit of Erwin’s finger to feel the intense wet heat of the inside. Levi moans long and broken. His legs spread wider, trying to make more room for the finger to go deeper. Levi is ready for this to happen, but Erwin hesitates.
Making a decision, he pulls his finger away, bringing it to his mouth for a fresh coat of saliva. And then the tip is back at the waiting flesh, pushing sincerely this time. Still, he’s very careful. He watches closely for any signs of pain or tearing.
Levi is out of his mind. It’s a bit of an effort to hold him still. Erwin’s finger is barely in at all, but the noises Levi’s making are already sounding less frustrated and more satisfied. Still, Levi tries to move his hips and take the finger deeper. It takes a lot for Erwin not to just give him what he wants. Keeping steady, he continues slightly moving his finger by tiny fractions of an inch, wiggling a bit to help the stretch. And it is a stretch. Levi’s hole has been stretched to the very limit to accommodate the circumference of Erwin’s finger. Erwin is not a small man in any way shape or form. Even the smallest part of him is big. He finds himself amazed that this is even working at all.
After a while time for adjusting, Erwin’s finger is so deep that he meets a first bit of resistance inside of Levi. He can tell that if he really pushed, he could go further, and there's plenty left of his finger to go, but he’s buried to the first knuckle and he dares not push further. He tries to visualize where the tip of his finger would be if he could see it. Upon realizing, he pulls back just a bit. He cannot go too far with this.
Still, he wants Levi to get what he needs, which is to be properly fucked. As always, he begins slow and careful. Pulling his finger back a little to test and pushing back in.
He receives a cute surprised “Ah!” from Levi.
Once he’s sure that it’s safe, Erwin finally releases his thumb, letting Levi move freely. Levi still clutches at the thumb, but he begins to rock backwards against the finger, gaining strength until he’s somehow found the energy to fuck himself on it. Erwin lets him have his way for a bit, focusing on the feeling of Levi’s walls sliding against his finger. He tries to imagine what it would feel like if it was his cock. He can’t wrap his mind around it. Obviously it wouldn’t work. Maybe if Levi were his size, he could fuck him properly. But this is already more than he would have ever thought possible. Not that he ever thought about it before. Oh, but it will be impossible not to think about later.
Erwin’s head feels cloudy as he watches his finger get sucked into Levi’s body over and over again, the length disappearing from view and reappearing again a moment later as the ring of muscle slides taut over Erwin’s skin. He’s lost in the fog until Levi suddenly gives a sharp cry. Erwin focuses his attention, finally realizing how deep his finger is. He let Levi get carried away and the fairy took it too deep. Heart racing, Erwin pulls it back out, but he has to fight Levi who tries to keep it where it’s at. Having had enough, Erwin places his thumb back over Levi’s back and holds him still. Levi is only unhappy for a moment before Erwin begins fucking him with his finger in earnest. He’s gentle, but firm. Dedicated to the process. Careful not to go too far again, but pushing just deep enough to get that strangled gasp from Levi. He’s able to slide his finger more smoothly now and he takes advantage, thrusting it faster into Levi’s pliant depths.
The fairy has gone completely liquid in the palm of his hand, giving his control completely over to Erwin. And Erwin takes care of him. It’s not long before he feels Levi’s entire body tighten up around him, gripping his finger relentlessly as a new wetness hits Erwin’s palm. Erwin slows his finger, rubbing against the most sensitive place as Levi rides the waves of pleasure. He doesn’t try to remove the finger for a long while. He just lets Levi catch his breath.
“Satisfied?” He asks playfully.
Responding to the timber of Erwin’s voice, Levi’s hole pulses. Interesting. He decides it’s time to take it out. That in itself is a bit of a process earning several long groans from Levi. The poor thing is entirely spent. When the finger finally slips the rest of the way out, the gaping hole left behind is astounding. Gingerly, Erwin turns the hand holding Levi over until the fairy is on his back cradled in Erwin’s fingers. Levi peeks at him through his lashes and then lets his eyes fall closed. For a second, worry pierces Erwin. But then he sees the steady rise and fall of Levi’s chest as he finally breathes normally. It would seem the toxin is completely gone.
Erwin had run a bit mindlessly through the woods earlier, ao it takes a bit to find the path back to his house. When he walks in, the first thing thinks is that it’s too bad he didn’t already have Levi’s bed finished. But then that’s what got them into this mess isn’t it? He settles for placing Levi gently down on the pillow of his own bed. The fairy’s body is completely limp, utterly drained from the fight and the toxin and thorough fucking. What a brave little soul.
If Levi wakes up and doesn’t have a complete change of heart with toxin out of his system, then what does that make them? Lovers? Is it even possible to take a fairy as a lover? He supposes they just proved it is. Although, it did take the entire walk home for him to calm the beast in his pants. Maybe Erwin didn’t get anything physical from the experience, but pleasuring Levi was an experience in and of itself. He’s ok with it, he realizes. He may never be with Levi the way he desperately wants to, but what they have is enough. As long as Levi will have him.
Erwin has too much energy. He sets straight to work on making Levi’s new bed.
~~~
When Levi opens his eyes, he thinks he’s in his room at the fairy tree for a moment. The bedding has the familiar scent of crimson dagger flowers. His body feels more relaxed than he’s felt in ages, if not a little sore.
All at once, the memories come flooding in. He opens his eyes to find he is not at the fairy tree. This is Erwin’s home. The human. Tenderly, Levi sits up in...bed? He’s in a bed that looks like it’s meant for him. He takes in the crimson cushion of the bed and understands now why Erwin was in the hive’s territory. Years ago, the fairies stole what they needed from the crimson forest and none dare to venture there since. The Dagger wasps are a nasty bunch with an insatiable taste for fairy.
But Erwin wouldn’t know all that. Erwin is new to the forest and has never even heard of half of what’s in it. Every time Levi looks away, Erwin is getting into some kind of trouble. Levi is about at his wit’s end trying to placate the locals lest they decide to rally and chase the human out. Or worse, eat him. He still remembers a very close call with a centaur he doesn’t think Erwin even noticed. The human encroached on the centaur’s land. This particular centaur has had a bad history with humans and tends to kill them on sight.
It’s from this centaur that Levi has slowly been learning the human language. It took a mountain of bribing and a few mildly veiled threats for Ymir to come around, but eventually he had his teacher. Ymir’s knowledge is also a bit limited due to the circumstances of her interactions with humans, but she could at least teach Levi the basics. Like how to make the human sounds that would eventually form words. He’s learned a few words, but he hasn’t tried to talk to the human just yet. It’s more interesting to try to understand what the human is always rambling about while the man still thinks Levi doesn’t have the faintest clue what he’s talking about. One day, though, Levi hopes to be able to communicate normally with the human. To be able to tell him the dos and don’ts of the forest so he doesn’t get himself killed. And to finally ask the questions he has about humans and the world outside the forest.
He spoke his first human word to Erwin yesterday. Of all things, it had to be that word. He hates asking for anything. He may be prince of the forest, but he didn’t start out that way. He started from the bottom and made his way to the top without ever asking for help. And in one fell swoop, this human who is stronger than him in every way, ruined that. Because this human needs so much help of his own. The human who walked into the forest would have died a thousand different ways and seemed prepared to do just that, as if it had nothing to do with him. All that strength and this human was still barely able to survive.
It didn’t take long watching him, though, for Levi to realize that surviving is strong. It had been so long since Levi had been at rock bottom that he had forgotten what it was like to be there. Seeing this human suffer through it awakened something in Levi that made him want to help. He needed to help.
Watching Erwin throw himself into his work, making things for Levi, and slowly heal made Levi wonder if he himself healed the right way. He’s at the top. And he always thought that was what he needed to heal. But he’s been at the top for so long… how has he only just realized how alone he was?
Not only has spending time at Erwin’s place helped fill the void he discovered in himself, but also all the running around, trying to keep the peace between the forest dwellers and the human has helped him get to know some of the people “at the bottom”. For the first time, he feels like he’s living up to the title of “Prince of the Forest”. He’s always been feared, but now there’s the beginnings of a relationship with his people. All because a human can’t take care of himself.
If Levi hadn’t shown up when he did, Erwin might have died. When Dagger Wasps aren’t looking to mate, they secrete a different toxin, meant to shut down all bodily functions, not just muscle control.
Maybe it’s time he does something about the crimson forest. He got lucky, but other fairies probably don’t.
Levi looks around, finding the human’s hulking form sprawled out on the much larger bed in the room. Most humans that wander into the forest are weak creatures that find themselves quickly killed. Levi will never forget the moment he met the flying palm of the human. It should’ve been his first clue that the human wasn’t normal. Those instincts are only won in battle.
The second clue, that finally let it sink in for Levi, was the way the human sliced through the branch of a tree with ease. Such raw power. Do all humans hold this potential? Even more reason to keep the forest a secret. He had intended to kill the human to keep the secret, but he never found a good opportunity. And then he started getting ideas about adding the human’s strength to his own. Together, no one would dare challenge his position as Prince of the Forest. But then he saw how helpless the human was in the forest and how little will to live there was. He knew fairly quickly that his plan wouldn’t work. But still he kept returning to the human’s house. Something drew him in. It became comfortable to spend his time with the human. The man’s deep voice is soothing to listen to and he makes cool things for Levi. He was starting to wonder if he was being courted.
And then the wasps attacked and Levi found himself literally in the palm of the human’s hand. He had no strength. If the human wanted to finish him, he could. A flick of his fingers would do the trick. Of course, by this point, he knew Erwin didn’t mean him harm. When the toxin kicked in, Levi already made up his mind what he wanted. And Erwin sure didn’t disappoint. It was the best fucking Levi had ever experienced. Part of him had been worried the human wouldn’t be interested. Or worse, that he’d be disgusted. Judging by the human’s enthusiasm, neither were the case. He even made Levi this beautiful bed….
Never in his life has Levi ever felt so taken care of.
Across the room, the human turns over in his sleep. Levi’s eyes catch on the bulge protruding from the man’s crotch. A cock that size is downright terrifying and incomprehensible. But Levi is not selfish. Well, at least he doesn’t want to be with Erwin. Levi stretches his wings and lands on the large expanse of the human’s bed. He treks over to the hill of Erwin’s body and climbs. After a moment, he reaches the “peak”. He looks up at the human’s face, but the man is still sleeping. It’s up to Levi then. He tugs furiously at the clothing covering his goal, but the fabric refuses to budge. He settles for rubbing at it through the cloth. His touch must be so light that the human can’t even feel it in his sleep, Levi realizes. He decides to put some force into it. He can’t quite wrap his arms around it, but he wraps then as far as he can and squeezes. Still no reaction. Levi grimaces at himself. What is he some kind of dick-hugger? He’s sure he looks ridiculous. On a whim, he climbs directly on top of the thing.
Suddenly, the human shifts. Panicking for whatever reason, Levi quickly sits down, crosses one leg of the other and tries to act natural.
Erwin wakes to a fairy sitting on his half-hard dick, looking up at him with a bored expression.
“Uhhh”
“Hello.” Levi put all his effort into making the word sound human.
Erwin blinks at him sleepily a couple times.
“Have you been able to talk this whole time?” Erwin asks calmly.
Levi tilts his head. He only caught a couple of familiar words in there.
“I take that as a no.” His eyes rove over Levi scrutinizingly. It’s almost like hearing a human word from the fairy makes him feel more real. Like this is the true start to their relationship. He takes in the messy hair and lack of eyebags.
“Slept well, I take it,” he says smugly. “How are you feeling?”
Levi frowns at him.
He tries again. “Hurt? Pain? Ouch?”
Understanding dawns on Levi’s face and he shakes his head, stubbornly crossing his arms and adjusting his pose. It brings attention back to where he’s sitting.
“Erm…” Erwin begins awkwardly. He shifts, making a show of trying to get up, hoping Levi takes the hint.
Instead of getting off, Levi clings onto the fabric at his crotch so as to not fall off.
“What are you..?”
Levi pulls at the fabric, suggestively.
“No need for that. It will go away. You don’t owe me anything, Levi.”
There’s that word again Levi knows is his name. He’s heard it so much he even has begun to refer to himself that way in his thoughts. He was never given a real name anyways, so Levi is perfect.
Levi is insistent until Erwin gives in and bares his cock for the fairy to peruse. It’s hardly a moment of watching Levi gawk at his towering cock now that it’s freed from its confines before Erwin is proudly at full-mast.
Unsure, Levi tries the whole wrapping his arms around it thing. It’s even harder now to reach. He feels stupid for trying. He looks up at Erwin for guidance.
Erwin doesn’t know either. “We’ll…. figure it out. For now, why don’t you let me handle it.”
Levi may not understand his words, but he knows a rejection when he sees one. Embarrassing. Why did he even think…
“Maybe you could inspire me.”
What the hell does this word inspire mean? Levi doesn’t understand. What does Erwin want from him? Why can’t there be magic for learning a language so they can communicate already!
Erwin makes a gesture of removing clothes and points to Levi. The light flicks on. Levi lost his cloak somewhere in the fight yesterday, so he’s just got his shirt and leggings to remove. He draws his shirt over his head and goes for his pants, all the while watching Erwin palm that massive cock. Erwin’s eyes are intent on him. Levi slows, making a show of removing his leggings. He may be miniature compared to a human, but he knows he’s fit and with a body type humans and fairies alike prefer.
He decides to get on his knees across from Erwin and mirror the way Erwin strokes his cock. The way Erwin looks at him is hungry and it’s not long before Levi needs more. He changes his position, remembering how it happened between them yesterday. Chest down, ass up, he proudly displays his wings as he plays with his rim. His fingers are nothing compared to what Erwin’s single finger did to him. He closes his eyes and imagines if he was Erwin’s size or if Erwin was his size. How they would come together so naturally then. Erwin would press his whole body against his as he takes him and they would match .
He gets lost in the fantasy and is surprised when he comes so soon. Above him, he can hear a deep rumbling sound. It takes him a moment to realize it’s Erwin finishing with a long drawn out groan. The whole bed vibrates with it. It’s so attractive.
Erwin finds something to wipe himself clean with and hands Levi a little piece to clean himself too. Neither show any sign of getting out of bed. With only the slightest hesitance, Erwin holds his hand out to Levi. With only the slightest consideration, Levi steps onto the offered hand and is lifted up to Erwin’s chest. Levi climbs off and after a moment settles on lying down on the human’s surprisingly soft chest. It’s strange, rising and falling with each of Erwin’s breaths, but once he gets used to it, it becomes relaxing. It’s peaceful and quiet here. No one is trying to kill him. There’s no one he needs to kill. He gets the feeling the human understands just how precious time like this is.
Suddenly size doesn’t matter to Levi. As long as he can stay with this person, he’ll be happy.
