Chapter Text

Side note: Philza and Techno don’t know each other here and Philza is a wanderer searching the overworld and other dimensions(except end) for riches and his lost love(Kristin), Techno is a feared warrior from the nether

It was a snowy night in the cursed woods everything was quiet except for one man stumbling through them clutching his arm to his side. „Shit“, He thought, „How did I manage to get hit by that curse??“. He let go of his arm to look at the injury, the injury was slowly but steadily growing dark grey feathers and it was getting faster ever so slightly by the second.“oh no…“ He stumbled father out of the forest trying to do anything to help, trying to stop the feathers from growing. He manages a few more steps before tripping and falling onto the white snow shining in the afternoon light. The feathers started growing faster and faster ripping up his skin and feathers sprouting out of it. He screamed in pain tears running down his face, thinking that he will die here and never see his love again. The feathers take over his arms turning them into wings, feathers start sprouting on his face and his legs turn into those of a crow. He fully turns and passes out.

(Author's Note: To watch the video this was inspired by Casserole :D’s Video“The Crow Monster" This is the design I’ll be using for Philza and Techno in this fic)

Phil wakes up confused and disoriented trying to move properly with his new body, he struggles but manages to get up on his feet and takes in what is happening:”So I am still we’re I can remember I passed out at the edge of the forest. This is not what my body looked and felt like but at least the pain is gone. This is really weird to move in.” He started walking around trying to find where he left some food that he had caught this morning, when he finally finds the place he digs the chest out with his claws and opens the chest with his beak. He takes the meat out and throws it in the air, catches it and swallows it. “So, now that I have eaten I should try and find something to turn me back because I can’t stay like this, I still have to find Kristin!” He goes to find his nether portal as he remembers he put chests and a brewing stand into a wall in the nether.

Techno POV:
I have been wandering around in the nether for a few days trying to find the person again that cursed me into this hoglin form but to no avail. I went into a red wood forest to try and get some food. As I was walking I noticed a hole in the nether rack wall. I got curious and decide to check it out as it seemed like a good place to stay for the night(you could tell night was coming because the lava, the shrooms and the mushrooms seemed to glow brighter and everything was getting darker). As I went and checked it out I could confirm that the hole was indeed made by a player and was not just some natural hole in the nether rack. There were a double chest and a brewing stand on one wall. I decide to rest and see if I can get stuff tomorrow. I go threw the chest and find wool that I spread out on the floor so I have something to sleep on.

Chapter Text

2. Chapter
Philza’s POV:
I roamed through the nether and found a bastion on my way back to my current home and decided to raid it. I swooped into the bastion and thankfully the brutes were too occupied with sorting the gold to notice me go to their chests. I opened a chest and picked the gold out of it and placed in my inventory. I turned around to see if any of the brutes noticed but they were still distracted, I also took the obsidian when I saw that the brutes had noticed I was taking stuff out of their chests, some looked at me confused obviously wondering what I was as they had never see anything like me before and the rest was charging at me furious that I dared to steal from their chests.
I spread out my wings towering above them and with a strong flap of them both hit them with such a strong air force that they were thrown back and flew into the air. I flew through the hole in the roof followed by arrows the angry brutes shot to try and shoot me down, I dodged them easily and started flying into the direction of my current home.

Once in the red wood forest that I hid my home in I swept down, landed on the floor and started walking towards it. I maneuvered through the trees and finally saw the entry of my little cave. But something was different I noticed, it smelt an awful lot like hoglin here. I was scared that the hoglins may have destroyed my cave so I moved more carefully as to not alert potential enemies. I slowly poked my head around the corner and to my surprise there was a very big hoglin laying on wool spreaded on the floor, it was a very big one for sure with many scars and a gold ring on one of its (horn thingies they have in their mouth). I froze when I saw it moving, in some kind of shock paralysis I stood there not being able to move as it got up. It turned around still looking slightly dazed from sleeping and saw me, our eyes locked as we stared at each other neither of us breaking eye contact or moving. “Ah shit it’s probably gonna kill me” I thought to myself

Techno POV:
I woke up still in the little cave I slept in. I smelt bird and turned around to see where it was coming from and saw a crow that was as big as me staring right back at me. It was probably the owner of this as It smelled very similar to the cave.

After a few moments it spoke: ”What are you doing in my home?” “I just stayed here for the night I would have gone anyway after I woke up since I still need to find something” I replied. The other creature seemed to think a bit and then said: “It’s fine I was going to go into the overworld after getting the stuff I left here so if you want to you could stay here” “You have a way of going to the overworld?!?”
“Yeah why?”
“ I have been trying to go to the overworld since forever!”
“Oh, you could come with me under one condition”
“Which is?”
“You help me find what I am searching for and I will help you find what your searching for”
“Deal”
