Kara was on her third batch of potstickers, when an interdimensional portal appeared in front of her. She stopped mid chew and stared at it for a second, when Barry and Cisco appeared.
“Hey,” Kara greeted, closing the container that held her food.
“Kara, we are sorry to bother you, but we need your help,” Barry told her, rubbing the back of his neck.
Kara nodded her head. “Let me text Alex and Lena, and then we can head out.”
Cisco nodded. “Please let your girlfriend know. I don’t want her to hold a grudge against me too.”
Barry chuckled, “She told me I was lucky I was so much like Kara or she would hate me too.”
“She’s not that scary,” Kara said, looking at the two. She looked at her phone. “Okay, they know. Lena said to let Oliver know that this is last chance.” Kara rolled her eyes. “She is just looking for an excuse.”
“As fun as all this is, we don’t have a lot of time,” Barry told her, giving her a smile.
Kara nodded and quickly grabbed her stuff. And to Earth 1 they went.
“What are we up against?” Kara asked the teams, all of whom were standing around the Star Labs hanger.
“A magical being by the name of Circe,” Oliver told her, taking a step forward. Kara froze, before shaking it off. Oliver narrowed her eyes, but he didn’t say anything.
“Where is she?” Kara asked, taking a step forward and placing her hands on her hips.
“We don’t know. She just appears whenever she wants. We are never sure of when she will attack next,” he responded, turning to the other dreams.
“We do now,” Felicity said, turning from the monitors. The heroes all turned to the monitor to see the attack. “Time to suit up. Barry, Kara, we will meet you guys there.”
The two fastest heroes nodded their heads before zooming away.
Kara and Barry showed up at the location of attack. Kara looked at the woman, who was standing in the middle of the street.
“You go left, I go right. We hit her with everything we have,” Barry told Kara, who nodded. The two went to their sides and with fists ready, charged at the magical woman.
Circe just grinned and vanished. Kara barely had time to react when she felt a blast hit her straight in the chest. She flew backwards and slammed into a car. She inhaled, feeling her chest ache with pain.
Kara shook it off and stood up. She looked around, to see that she somehow changed the ground into some sort of goo and Barry was stuck. Kara saw Circe floating above Barry, and her hands started to glow. Kara used her speed to tackle her, when Circe grab Kara’s shoulders and whisper a spell. Kara suddenly couldn’t fly, she forgot how. She started to fall to the ground and landed with a thump. Circe stood over Kara, who was staring up at her.
“You are not so strong against me, are you, child?”
“I am strong enough to beat you,” Kara shot back, pushing herself up. She raised her fists and swung, but Circe teleported. She appeared behind Kara and shot a blast. Kara cried out as she fell forward on her knees.
Circe grabbed Kara by her hair and pulled, causing Kara to look up at her. “You are powerful child, but it’s not enough. You are weak against me, against my magic. Stop fighting.”
“Never,” Kara said, but Circe just moved backwards. She looked at Kara, when an interdimensional portal appeared. Oliver quickly shot arrows, but Circe teleported.
Kara pushed herself to her feet, shaking her head. She looked at the team in front of her. She watched as Cisco and Caitlin worked to get Barry out of the goo. Mick, Ray, Diggle and Oliver were shooting at Circe, who was standing above her.
Circe laughed, before she started to sing. The men in the group all seemed to be in a trance. Kara watched as the men started to fight against the women.
Kara looked at the woman, before launching herself up to her. She tackled her a second time, and Circe teleported them to the ground. She glared at Kara. “You don’t give up, do you?”
Kara was blasted and she hit the ground. She looked to her friends, to see them fighting. She could see the men having the advantage in numbers. The Kryptonian stood up and looked Circe. “Let them go!”
“You are a pest,” Circe responded, snapping her fingers. Kara frowned, and suddenly her vision went dark.
Oliver blinked, his bow aimed at Ava. He frowned, confused about why. He looked around, seeing the men all stumble. The women let out breaths, looking relieved. He looked at everyone, making sure everyone was okay, before noticing that Kara was gone.
“Where is Kara?” he asked everyone, but no one had the answer. Barry vanished, before reappearing empty handed. “We have to find her, now !”
The united teams all rushed off to search for the Kryptonian. Oliver touched his in-ear communicator. “Felicity, can you hack the security camera? See if you can find Kara.”
He heard the typing, before hearing a gasp. “ Oliver, do you see that puppy four feet to your? ”
Oliver looked and saw a small golden retriever hiding under a bus bench. It was trembling, it’s eyes looking around. “Please tell me that’s not her.”
“Circe used her magic to change Kara into a puppy. That’s Kara.
”
Oliver nodded, letting out a sigh. “Lena is going to kill me. I swear this is it. This is how I die." He walked towards the puppy, who seemed to notice him. She moved backwards until she couldn’t go back anymore. Oliver crouched down and extended his hand. The puppy took a sniff, and her tail started to wag. She barked and moved into Oliver’s arms. He looked at her, into her eyes. Bright blue, hopeful eyes stared back at him. “Yup, this is Kara.”
He held her against his chest as he headed back to the other heroes.
“Did anyone find her?” Barry asked, looking really concerned. He frowned when he noticed Oliver.
“Oh god, tell me she didn’t,” Sara insisted, looking at Oliver.
The archer nodded. “She did. This is Kara. Let's get her back to the hanger and we can come up with another plan there.”
“Lena is going to kill you,” Barry said, shaking his head.
“Barry.”
“She’s going to cut you up in pieces and scatter you around the world.”
“Barry.”
“She’s going to make you disappear and there is nothing we can do about it.”
“Barry.”
“You will be missed.”
“Barry! I get it! You have to help me get Kara back.”
The puppy let out a yelp. She stuck out her tongue and looked up at Oliver. She tried to reach up and lick his chin. Oliver moved out of her reach, but it caused Kara to whine.
“I hate you,” he told the puppy, moving his chin back and Kara gave it a lick. She let out a content sigh and Cisco summoned a portal.
Barry, Oliver, Sara, and a select few of their teams all sat around the Star Labs cortex, watching as Kara chased her own tail.
“Do you think she still has her powers?” Ray asked, looking at the puppy. Kara let out a bark, getting annoyed that she couldn’t catch her tail.
“I sure hope not,” Sara responded. “None powered little Kara was a nightmare to catch. Imagine a powered puppy Kara? That would just be torture.”
“Guys,” Iris called out, watching as Kara’s speed got quickly. “I think your worst nightmare just came true.”
Kara became a blur to everyone except Barry. “I think I can keep up with her.”
Kara stopped running and sniffed the air. Her ears twitched, and she was gone. Barry rushed after her, watching as she ran through the building. Barry gritted his teeth as he extended his hand to grab her. But Kara just ran with her four legs, helping her become quicker. Barry pushed his speed a bit more, and felt her fur on his fingertips. He urged for more speed, but Kara suddenly turned and Barry crashed into a wall. He fell backwards and just stared up at the ceiling.
Slightly disoriented, he caught his breath, when Kara appeared over him. She started to attack his face with licks and Barry tried to push her away, letting out a laugh. It seemed to excite Kara, who just attacked more. Barry gave her a pat and the golden retriever stopped, sitting at his side. She let out a bark, and Barry just grinned.
“You are so cute,” Barry said, scratching Kara’s head. The puppy closed her eyes and just leaned into her, her tail wagging at a fast pace. “Let’s get back to the others. They must be so worried.”
Bark!
“You got lucky.”
Bark!
“I’m still faster. You just have a four legged advantage.”
Bark!
“I am not bitter!”
“Are you seriously fighting with a dog?” Nate asked, smirking.
“An alien dog that was a alien woman, yeah. She started it,” Barry said, but Kara’s attention transferred to the new person. She let out a bark and walked up to him. She used her teeth and bit his pants, ripping it.
“Hey! I like these pants,” Nate complained, pulling away from the puppy.
Kara ignored him and went to bite his leg, but Nate quickly went steel. Kara frowned at the new skin. She looked up at Nate and tilted her head. Nate smirked at her, smug that he had one-upped her.
But Kara crouched down and launched herself, her teeth grabbed into Nate’s arm. He was smug for one second, before Kara’s teeth broke into the steel. His eyes widened and he turned to Barry. “Get her off! Get her off of me!” He screamed and waved his arm around, Kara holding on by her teeth. Kara let out a growl. “Get her off!”
The screaming caught everyone’s attention, and they rushed to check on them.
Sara burst laughing, seeing Nate in near tears with Kara hanging from his arm. “Please get her off.”
“Let go of him Kara, please,” Barry asked, and the puppy let him go and stayed floating in the air. She let herself drop to the ground and walk to the majority group. She sat down and looked up at them, giving them a puppy grin.
Kara had to pee. She had to really go pee, but she didn’t know where to go. She looked around, before finding a weird green thing. It was wooden and had a string. She had to go.
Kara bit down on the black metal toys. She could hear something moving, but it was fun, like a squeaky toy. Kara bit down and broke it in half. She whined when it just dropped.
One of the women seemed to notice and seemed worried. “Diggle! Your guns!”
Kara grabbed the other ‘gun’ and ran off, not wanting anyone to take her toys. Unfortunately it snapped in half as well.
Oh well.
Iris and Felicity sat on either side of the room and tossed a ball back and forth, and Kara chased after it at regular speed. Her tail was wagging at forty miles per hour. She had learned after the other twelve balls that biting them didn’t help.
Iris tossed it a little low and Kara was able to catch it, puncturing it in her mouth. She dropped the deflated ball and whimpered.
“Don’t worry, we got more,” Felicity said, and Kara perked up, ready to play again.
Cool things shot out of her eyes. And Kara was enjoying it. She saw a weird toy that looked like Diggle’s ‘guns’ but it was orange. Kara looked at it, letting her heat vision hit it. She saw it warm up, before it exploded. Kara flinched at the explosion, and it seemed to get everyone’s attention.
“My gun!” the bald man exclaimed, before glaring at Kara. “I am going to kill that mutt!”
Kara quickly ran to hid behind the goggle man, not wanting the angry man to hurt her.
“Mick, Gideon will just make you a new one. Don’t worry about it.”
Mick shot Kara a glare before storming off. Kara let out a breath, before running off, wanting to play some more.
“Do you think Gideon will be able to help us?” Ray asked, looking at his captain.
Sara frowned, before shrugged. “Maybe.” She pressed her in-ear. “Gideon? We need some help.”
“It seems my systems are down, Captain Lance, ” Gideon responded, confusing Sara and Ray.
“What happened?”
“ It seems like there is a bug. I am working on rectifying it.”
Sara’s eyes went to Kara, who was asleep on Ray’s lap. The puppy had finally worn herself off. Kara let out a small snore and kicked her little legs.
“Gideon, is this about Kara?”
“ Yes. Keep that animal out of my ship. ”
“Gideon! Gideon!” Sara sighed. She looked at Ray. “Gideon is not going to help us.”
Ray let out a laugh. He looked at the puppy, who seemed to be dreaming about something fun. “We can handle it here.”
Kara had snuck out of STAR Labs after her nap. She was digging a hole to hide her treasures. She held the arrows in her teeth as gently as she could, not wanting to break them. Once the whole was deep enough, she dropped them, before throwing the dirt back on them.
Now no one could take her treasures away from her. She was so proud of herself.
“Sit,” Ava said, holding out a treat. Kara stared at her, blinking. She zeroed in on the treat and took a step forward. “No Kara, sit. Sit down Kara.”
Kara ignored her and charged, dropping Ava back. She grabbed the treat and munched on it. Kara sniffed Ava, finding more treats in her pockets. Using her teeth, she pulled at the pants until it ripped and released the treats. She ate the treats with her tail wagging. Before walking away, Kara gave Ava’s cheek a quick lick.
Kara walked out of the room, leaving Ava behind with ripped pants.
“Oh come on!” Oliver shouted, his voice filled with disgust.
Kara watched as everyone grabbed yummy food out of the boxes. Her stomach growled, and she wanted some. But the humans didn’t want to give her any. Kara walked to Sara as slowly as she could and when the woman wasn’t looking, Kara bit the pizza and ran off to finish it. She enjoyed it so much, she had to go back to get more. She reached Caitlin, and grabbed her slice of pizza as well.
“Kara!”
Another interdimensional portal appeared and the two people Oliver least wanted to see walked out.
“Ms. Luthor, Alex, what are you two doing here?” he asked, looking at the women.
“Kara has been gone long enough. We wanted to see if she was okay, or if you guys needed our help with the problem,” Alex answered and Lena just glared.
“Kara is doing just fine,” Oliver told her, just as Kara walked into the room. She seemed to notice Lena and Alex and became excited.
Lena stared at the puppy, before shifting her attention to Oliver. “This is a joke right?”
“Kara! There you are,” Barry exclaimed as he walked into the room. He seemed to notice the new visitors and froze. “L-Lena, Alex, hey.”
“What is the meaning of this Mr. Allen?” Lena inquired, her arms crossed over her chest. Kara was sitting in front of the CEO, her tail wagging.
“Oh no, Lena’s I’m-Close-To-Murder voice. You see, the help we needed Kara for was a magical problem. And she changed Kara into a puppy.”
Lena crouched down and Kara started to lick her face, excited to see the woman.
Bark! Bark! Bark! Bark!
“You are so lucky you are still adorable,” Lena whispered, scratching the sides of Kara’s face. The puppy seemed to enjoy it. She looked at Oliver and Barry. “How are we going to change her back?”
“Behrad went to get John. He should be back soon.”
Lena nodded and stood up with the puppy in her arms. Kara seemed to enjoy her position. She let out a breath and closed her eyes, content where she was.
Alex was playing with Kara while Lena watched.
“We’re back!” Behrad exclaimed, walking into the cortex with John right behind him.
“Where is the mutt?” John questioned, before seeing the canine by Alex. He smirked. “Sure you want me to change her back? Might be easier to care for a mutt than the human.”
Lena was about to stand up, when Sara pulled her back. John got his book and flipped through it, before finding the spell he wanted. He told Alex where to place Kara and started with the spell. Lena watched with hawk eyes, not wanting anything to go wrong. There was a quick flash and Kara appeared in front of them, in her super suit, fortunately. She was unconscious. Alex and Caitlin were quick to check the girl over.
She was declared to be okay. Lena and Alex waited until Kara was conscious before they prepared to return home.
“What happened?” Kara asked, rubbing her head.
“Well, you turned into a puppy. You broke Dig and Rory’s guns. You almost broke Nate’s arm. Ava’s pants were ripped open. Oliver’s arrows, Cisco’s goggles, Iris’s laptop, and Felicity’s tablet are missing. I almost got a concussion. Oh and you peed on Oliver’s bow,” Barry told her, getting laughter from Alex.
Kara’s cheeks flushed pink. “I-I think you should check around the building for those things? I-I don’t really remember.”
“I think we should head home,” Lena said, before taking a step towards Oliver. “You are so lucky I am letting you live. Kara is in one piece, so I won’t dismember you now, But next time, you won’t be so lucky.”
“How long are you going to hold that against me?” Oliver questioned, looking frustrated.
“Evil you married other Kara. Evil you tried to kill my Kara. You tried to kill other Kara. Evil you let other Kara die !”
“Why is Nazi me Evil me and Nazi Kara other Kara?”
“I hate you and love her. And I know you Oliver Jonas Queen. I know what you are allergic too. I can make it seem like an accident. Don’t forget that.”
Lena then turned and walked to Alex and Kara. The blond woman waved at everyone as Lena pulled her towards the portal.
Alex sat on the couch, and Kara sat down next to her. Lena was in the kitchen making herself a drink.
“How do you always find all the fun?” Alex questioned.
Kara shrugged. “I'm the better sister.”
Alex looked at Kara for a second before rolling her eyes. “I liked you better as a dog.”
