Work Text:
Yoongi stalked into the open plan office space with fire in his eyes. Silently he cursed himself for being the one to really push for the large room now, wishing there would have been somewhere more private for this conversation to take place. He scanned the space, noticing Seokjin was already using the one locked off office and was midway through what looked to be a very stressful conversation, then turned his attention to the also occupied meeting room where it appeared that Hoseok was preparing to conduct interviews.
Finally he honed in on where Namjoon was perched on the edge of Jimin's desk, talking animatedly about something.
"Where the fuck were you last night?" Yoongi demanded once he'd reached the younger man.
"I texted you and said I couldn't come." Namjoon replied immediately, voice tight and obviously rehearsed. "Something came up."
"It was my fault Yoongi." Jimin trilled immediately, "The papers came in from LA and they hadn't sent over the Korean version. Joonie was helping me go through them."
"Bullshit." Yoongi snarled, not even bothering to turn his attention to the other man. "You promised me Joon."
"Everyone else was there, I don't get why it's such a big deal?" Namjoon shrugged, still obviously forcing the airy edgy to his voice. "I'll catch you guys next time."
"How about tonight then?"
"We're going for drinks tonight."
"Who's we?"
"Me!" Jimin interrupted, eyes darting between his two superiors.
Yoongi folded his arms, he'd known Namjoon for fifteen years now. They'd been together through everything, he knew when he was being lied to.
"Since when did you two hang out?"
"We hang out all the time actually." Namjoon stood up, knocking over at least five trinkets in the process, "You would have noticed that if you didn't spend all of your time demanding group dinners to show off your boyfriend."
"And what is that supposed to mean exactly?"
"Exactly what I said." Namjoon shrugged and turned his attention to Jimin, "Can you get Jungkook to print off the SM contracts for me please? Jin wants to just run the numbers one more time before we agree to anything."
Jimin nodded, happy to excuse himself from whatever was going on between his two bosses.
MinKim was their baby, a creative collective agency born on the floor of Namjoon's college dorm when he was 18. The first agency of its kind in Korea, starting as just the two of them, to then a collective of songwriters and producers and now, ten years later it had finally become so much more. A company respected in the world wide stage, with even big American acts begging to work with them and their team.
"Namjoon, what's going on with you? You need to tell me." Yoongi frowned, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Why must something be going on with me if I don't want to sit in your apartment for the 100th time listening to the world according to Jun?" Namjoon rolled his eyes, and started stalking back towards his desk. "We don't have to do everything together anymore Yoongi, you've got someone else to do that with now."
Yoongi stopped following the other across the room, suddenly aware of their staff's eyes boring into him, "but we always have."
Namjoon shrugged, not bothering to turn around. "Things change. You don't get to keep me following you around anymore, think about how that makes Jun feel."
"Jun loves you."
This caused Namjoon to turn, eyebrows raised. He seemed shocked at the distance between them but unlike Yoongi didn't seem bothered by their audience. "No, Jun loves you. He tolerates me. You can't have your best friend tagging along everywhere with you anymore."
"Jimin and Tae do."
"That's different."
"No it's not." Yoongi tried to assure him.
Namjoon smiled almost sadly, "I can't be around you guys all the time. I'm sorry Yoongi. Now I've really gotta check these numbers."

"I just wish that I could get over it already." Namjoon sighed, pushing his food around his plate.
"Stop that." Seokjin frowned, swatting at the back of his friend's shoulder as he huddled around the table, laying out more side dishes than four men really required. "Don't take your bad mood out on my food."
"It's just too much for me to be around them now. Like it always hurt, but they're so serious about each other."
"Do you think?" Jimin asked, tilting his head slightly, "I don't think Yoongi is serious about him at all."
"Don't pity me." Namjoon chuckled darkly.
After his altercation with Yoongi, Namjoon had promptly received an email from Seokjin demanding his presence for dinner later that evening, informing him that Hoseok had even gone out of his way to make Namjoon dessert and they were not taking no for an answer.
"No it's true." Hoseok nodded before pausing, a frown clouding his face for a moment, "or maybe we're all seeing what we want to see."
"And what do you want to see?"
"You and Yoongi. Together. At last."The other shrugged. "I just thought he knew."
"But why would he want me? I'm a mess." Namjoon sighed, finally pushing his plate away from him.
Hoseok frowned again, “Don’t say that about yourself Namjoon. You’re an absolute catch.”
"All he spoke about last night was you though, that's what I don't understand." Seokjin added, pushing the plate back towards Namjoon. "Eat."
Namjoon pouted, picking his chopsticks up again, "I just feel suffocated by what I feel now."
"What do you mean?" Jimin prompted him.
"I just, everything I do and see and think always comes back to Yoongi. I'm like the moon gravitating around him. But Jun is like the sun." Namjoon sighed mournfully. "I was ready to tell him, you know? Like months ago before he met Jun, I was going to finally tell him that I've spent the last ten years absolutely in love with him and that if he'd let me I'd make him so incredibly happy."
"You still could tell him." Seokjin suggested.
"How would you feel if someone told Hoseok they loved him?"
Jin shrugged, "I'd be fine with it. Because if that confession made him waver it would mean we weren't meant to be wouldn't it? And that other person could move on. You can't move on because you can't get closure."
"But it'd ruin everything."
"Or would it make him realise how he feels about you too? Everyone sees it."
"I even wrote him a song." Namjoon admitted mournfully, "It was how I was going to tell him."
"Can we hear it?" Jimin asked gently.
Namjoon shrugged half heartedly. What was the use in keeping it a secret anymore. It was a good song, it might be good for something at least.”
Namjoon fumbled through his bag, finally pulling out the thumb drive he used to store his unfinished work. He threw it over the table, Hoseok caught it easily and excused himself to fetch his laptop. Finally he hooked the device up and the familiar pianos of the guide track filled the room. Namjoon hated listening to his own voice, choosing to bury his head in his arms.
"Oh Joonie." Jimin sighed, enveloping the taller into a hug as the song came to a close, "That's so-"
The rest of his sentence was cut off and he cuddled closer.
"And it was so clever as well. I don't even know how you do it Joon." Hobi flashed him a watery smile. "You should show him. You should let him hear this and see how you feel."
Namjoon shook his head, tightening his grip on Jimin.
"I just don't think I can be his friend, not right now. And I definitely can't be around Jun."
××××
It wasn't for another month that Namjoon was finally forced to be in the same place as Jun.
It was 11pm and most of the staff had already left, leaving behind Namjoon, Yoongi and their band of five core friends. Seokjin had moaned every hour that he was 'literally just the numbers guy' but had stayed, dutifully adding to moodboards under Taehyung's direction. The following week they would have their biggest pitch yet, an agency had reached out for them to work on the entirety of the first solo album for one of their biggest idols. They were looking for MinKim to do it all. Jungkook had been running in from the makeshift studio setup every twenty minutes ready to record the next guide tracks, while Yoongi attempted to cut rough drafts on the not at all good enough laptop for the job.
"This isn't working." Yoongi growled finally, he was the best at what he did and he couldn't make anything of it. "It's not going to work."
"It's 72 hours until we meet them. It's going to have to be." Hoseok muttered, barely glancing up from the concept proposal Jimin had shoved under his nose moments before.
Namjoon wordlessly held out his hand for Yoongi to pass him his headphones. He was silent the whole time, tapping his pen on the pad in front of him. "You wrote this?
Yoongi nodded, eyes downcast. "I know it's not my normal style but Jun said…"
"Sorry, is Jun a song writer now?" Jin's head shot up from the other end of the table. "Please don't tell me this is the first time you ran this past Namjoon?"
"Well when Jun said it was so good, Namjoon trusts me, we don't always run everything past each other." Yoongi shrugged, eyes flashing with hurt at Jin's tone.
"Of course Jun said its good, you're fucking him." Jimin rolled his eyes.
"It's…" Namjoon started delicately before pausing. They'd never done this, they'd never been delicate with each other, not when it came to work. "It's shit."
Yoongi winced, but nodded still. "What are we going to do?"
Namjoon shrugged, glancing at his laptop and then back at his partner. Sure they probably could knock something together in enough time, but this was the biggest solo debut in years. They couldn't go into that meeting anything less than prepared.
"What about the song you played us the other day, Joonie?" Jimin suggested, making his way up the room and wrapping his arms around the back of Namjoon's neck. Yoongi raised his eyebrows at the easy skinship between the two.
"I dunno. It's not…" Namjoon began, wincing as Hoseok scowled at him across the table. "I guess I can play it for you guys?"
Namjoon unwrapped Jimins arms from around him and left the meeting room in search of his USB stick.
"You're not even showing me your music anymore?" Yoongi asked, trailing him out of the room.
Namjoon shrugged, "I could say the same to you."
Yoongi frowned at his best friend, really looking at him for what felt like the first time in months. He looked tired, not in the way that they all did that evening, but something more than that. His shoulders slumped in a way they only did when Namjoon felt as if he had the weight of the world on them, his nails were bitter down to stubs.
"What's going on with you? Why won't you tell me what's wrong?" He finally asked.
Namjoon shrugged, still rooting around his desk. "Nothing to tell."
"Don't bullshit me."
"I can't tell you then, are you happy? I can't tell you what's going on with me. I've just got to get it sorted on my own."
"Does Jimin know?"
"What?"
"Does Jimin know what's going on with you?"
"What difference does that make?"
"Because you're supposed to be my best friend. You're my person. We tell each other everything."
"Why do you keep saying that? Why does it matter? You have your whole life, I'm not important."
"What? You think you're not important? You're the most important person in the world to me Joon."
"Please don't say that."
"Why?"
"Because I can't take it."
"But it's true."
"It's not."
"It's always been me and you Joon. I love you for fucks sake, it's killing me knowing you're suffering and I can't help you."
"You just can't help me with this. Nobody can help me with this."
"But you won't even tell me so I can try?" Yoongi closed his eyes, blinking away tears. "Look at everything we've done, everyone said we could do this and we did. There's nothing we can't do if we're together, Joon." He tried to smile encouragingly.
Namjoon smiled in return, the same sad smile he'd used those weeks before. "I know I don't tell you this enough. I love you yoongi."
"And I love you. So please…"
"It's not the same…"
"What do you mean it's not the same?" Yoongi stepped closer to Namjoon. "I don't understand."
"Its-"
"Hellooo?" A loud voice cut through the office. "Yoongi? I've brought you guys some food."
It was Jun.
Namjion shook his head gently, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hands roughly. "Hey Jun." He called, voice full of fake cheer. "Yoongi was just helping me look for this!" He held up the USB.
Jun beamed, arms ladened with bags full of take out bags. "Where do you want me?"
"Erm, in the meeting room. We'll be in a sec babe." Yoongi smiled brightly at his boyfriend, praying he would notice his tear streamed cheeks. He waited for Jun to exit the main office space and turned back to Namjoon. "Carry on."
"You invited Jun here tonight?"
"Huh?” Yoongi glossies, eyes glazing over momentarily. “No, he just said he wanted to bring us some food."
"Best not keep him waiting then."
Namjoon left before Yoongi could say anything else, leaving Yoongi to follow after him awkwardly. Jun had positioned himself at the head of the long meeting table and was handing out take out containers to the others. Yoongi couldn't help but notice the tight smiles on his friend's lips as they thanked him.
"Shall we hear this song then?" Jimin asked brightly, interestingly Yoongi noticed, now sat almost glued at Namjoon's side.
"I don't know. We should probably eat first and…"
"I want to hear it!" Jun grinned, "everything you work on is like… magic."
Namjoon smiled weakly, and slid the USB over to Hoseok who was sitting opposite. The same age friends exchanged a look that lasted a few beats longer than they should before Hoseok shrugged and plugged the stick into his own laptop.
The group fell silent as the piano's filled the room. Namjoon didn’t dare look at anybody as his song played back out of the slightly too tinny speaker on the centre of the desk.
“You know...We were always meant to be...Destiny...
I hope you feel the same with me...LOVE” his own voice mocked him as the song came to a close.
"That was… wow Joon." Jungkook was the first to speak.
Namjoon shrugged. Still refusing to look at anything other than where Jimin had now placed a supportive hand over his own.
"That is so cool. So romantic isn't it babe?" Jun asked, nudging Yoongi's shoulder with his own. "Who is it about?"
"That's sort of a personal question." Namjoon mumbled, cheeks flushed with all the attention on him. He glanced up and caught Yoongi's eye. "I just wrote it for my person."
Hoseok hmmed and nodded, copying the file onto his own laptop and typing furiously.
"It's so cool that your brain thinks like that. You live so you love. Amazing" Jun wrapped an arm around his boyfriend. "That's how I feel about you Yoongi. You're my person too."
It all happened so suddenly as Jun spoke those words. Seokjin choked on the chicken he was idly chewing first, Jimin pushed away from the table as if he anticipated the way that Namjoon got to his feet, excusing himself so suddenly, scurrying out of the room after him followed seconds later by Hoseok and Jungkook.
Taehyung smiled tightly, "As romantic as that was. You need to go now, Jun."
"Huh? Oh Yoongi said it would be cool for me to hang around tonight?"
"Did he now?" Seokjin narrowed his eyes.
Yoongi shrunk in his chair, that wasn't exactly what he said. He'd just told Jun that it wouldn't be a big deal if he didn't leave straight away. But that was before.
It was almost thirty minutes before the other men returned minus Namjoon.
"Joon's got a bad stomach." Jimin said vaguely, "He said he’s going to finish his share at home and he’ll be back in the morning."
"Oh no, does anyone else feel bad? Do you think it was the chicken?" Jun asked, concern etched over his face.
Jimin glowered at the other man, "Something like that. Look I think we've all done as much as we can tonight don't you guys?" Everyone nodded unsurely, earning a grin from Jimin. "I’m going to go and take care of Namjoon then."
"I'll do it." Yoongi heard himself saying.
"Babe? Jimin just said he can-"
"And I said I would go and look after him. He's my friend. It's my job to look after him." Yoongi was already on his feet, collecting together his belongings and forcing them into his bag haphazardly.
"It's not your job." Jimin said firmly, "Not anymore."
"But he's my p-" Yoongi stopped, feeling Jun's heavy gaze on the side of his face, "He's my best friend. I've always looked after him while he was sick."
"That's not actually true." Hoseok piped up, "when he was in the hospital in May, it was actually me and Jimin who looked after him. I think Jimin can deal with a little vomit."
"Joon was in the hospital in May?"
Jimin nodded, now packing his own belongings away. "He didn't want to worry you while you were away with Jun."
"And none of you told me my best friend was in the hospital?" Yoongi felt something in the pit of his stomach.
"It's not a big deal babe. I know you guys are close, but this whole best friend thing is a bit childish isn't it?" Jun sighed, rubbing a circle on Yoongi's back.
"Yeah… I guess you're right." Yoongi nodded awkwardly.
Jimin shook his head at the older man before leaving the meeting room with a slam of the door. The room fell silent again, Jin took this as his clue to pick up with his work once more.
"Joon was in the hospital?" Yoongi finally asked quietly, unable to ignore the feeling he had finally identified as guilt in his stomach.
Hoseok nodded, attention focused on the paper in front of him. "He was dehydrated and stressed. Just generally not looking after himself. You know how he gets when he's busy."
"And he didn't want to bother me?"
Jungkook had been silent the entire time that everything had transpired. "Well it's not like you care is it? The best thing is childish isn't it?" He was sat in Jimin’s now vacated seat, arms folded across his chest, glaring at where Jun and Yoongi were sat.
"Kook…" Jin began warningly.
But the younger shook his head, "No. Don't Kook me. What the fuck Yoongi. I'm sorry, I know you're older than me and you're my boss and whatever. But what the fuck. I've spent the last 5 years hearing about how Namjoon is your fucking person or whatever it is that you guys say. And now you're going to stand there and agree with him that your friendship is childish?" The youngest was glaring at him, wide eyes showing an emotion Yoongi had never seen from him before. "You're not here anymore, you don't get to decide when you want to know what's going on with us anymore."
"What? I'm here all the time."
"Then how are you only just finding out Namjoon was in hospital? How are you only now noticing that something is fucking wrong with him?" Jungkook was on his feet now. Instead of waiting for Yoongi to reply he turned to Jin. "Do you need anything else from me tonight or can I go after Jimin?"
Jin shook his head, gesturing to the door. "Go ahead."
Jungkook nodded, shoving his belongings into his rucksack before pausing by the door. He pulled out his wallet and dropped a fistful of notes on the table. "That should get you back for Namjoon, Jimin and my share."
"No I don't w-" Jun began before being silenced by the glares he received from the other remaining men in the room.
"Jun, I think you need to go." Taehyung said again, "we've got some childish shit to sort out here."
Jun paused, glancing at Yoongi who simply nodded. "I'll wait at your place?"
"Yeah sure." Yoongi nodded faintly, still reeling from Jungkook's words.
Jun nodded, sloping out the room.
Hobi busied himself, collecting up leftovers and stacking up empty cups.
"I'm sorry." Yoongi finally sighed.
Taehyung shrugged, now back inspecting the poster boards laid flat in front of him. “I don’t really want to talk about any of this. We’re three men down and we’ve got a shit load more to do tonight.”
××××
It was a little after 3am when Namjoon’s phone began ringing. He ignored it at first, Jimin and Jungkook had only been gone fifteen minutes after he’d practically forced them out with promises that he would sleep and be back in the office the next morning. When the phone started ringing again he answered without a glance l at the caller Id.
“Jimin, I’m fine. Go and get some rest please.” He sighed, concentrating more on the flickering lights of the Seoul skyline from his window.
“Actually it’s me.” Yoongi’s hesitant voice drawled down the line. “I’m actually outside your place.”
“Go home Yoongi.” Namjoon muttered, yet still climbing out of his bed and forcing his legs into his discarded sweatpants from the floor.
“I tried that.” Yoongi sounded smaller than Namjoon had ever remembered him sounding. “But I ended up here. I can’t leave things weird between us.”
“Things aren’t weird.”
“Don't bullshit me.”
“You need to go home to Jun.” Namjoon was leaning against his front door now.
The elder hesitated for a beat. “Did you write that song about me? About us?” When Namjoon didn’t respond, Yoongi sighed, “Let me in Joon. I know you’re by the door.”
The Yoongi stood on the other side of the door was one Namjoon had only seen twice before in all the years they’d known each other. Once when he’d heard the news of his Grandfather passing away and the second was the first time a big deal for MinKim had fallen through. The Yoongi in front of him looked tiny, not in the cute way that he would in the winter that made Namjoon’s heart clench, but instead he looked defeated. Shoulders slumped, paler than usual and tired.
“I’ve listened to it about twenty times. If I’m wrong, tell me and I’ll leave right now.”
“Do you want tea?” Namjoon asked instead, padding through his apartment towards the kitchen. “I’ve got the honey green tea you like.”
“Namjoon…”
“It’s a yes or a no question. Do you want tea?”
“Fine.”
Namjoon hummed and began pulling mugs out of the cupboards as needed. Silent until there were two steaming mugs on the counter. “I’m sorry.”
“What for?”
“Falling in love with you. I’m so fucking sorry.”
“Should you be sorry?”
“You tell me.”
“It’s a really beautiful song Joon.” Yoongi murmured, curling hands around the mug. “Really fucking clever too.”
“It was easy to write. You’re always easy to write about.” Namjoon shrugged, his drink already abandoned as he concentrated on wiping a stain he knew was long embedded into his countertop. “It’s actually funny how many songs that people love so much on the radio are about you.”
Yoongi watched him for a while, “I just… have to sort some things out. I can’t… I can’t tell you. Not like this.”
“If you’re doing this because you’re scared things are going to get messed up, don’t. I just need some time to sort myself out.” Namjoon sighed.
“I wouldn’t ever do that.”
And Namjoon knew that was true, Yoongi would never knowingly lead him on or hurt him.
“Just… you’re worth so much more than me telling you now.” Yoongi stared back down at his drink, “I just had to make sure.”
“How long?”
Yoongi shrugged, “I can’t tell you that. I don’t even know myself.”
Objectively Yoongi considered he could have been in love with Namjoon for as long as he’d known him. He’d always appreciated Namjoon on a superficial level, always been so confused by his best friend’s absolute refusal to see what a good looking man he was. He’d never considered the reasoning for why he could never quite gel with any of his friends' partners, he’d always just stemmed it to thinking they weren’t good enough for his angelic best friend, but maybe it had been more all along.
Jun was sitting on the sofa waiting when Yoongi arrived back at his apartment, his eyes were red rimmed, hair sticking out at odd angles where he obviously had been running his hands through it throughout the night.
When Yoongi sat down next to him heavily, neither man spoke for a while. Suddenly the usually cosy living room felt far too large.
“How long have you known that he was in love with you?”
Yoongi shrugged, “as long as you have I guess.”
“And how long have you known you’re in love with him?”
Yoongi hadn’t noticed that the room felt so empty because Jun had already collected his belongings together.
Jun sighed, “The first time I saw you with Namjoon I was so jealous. The way you are together, you can’t learn that intimacy.”
“I’ve never -“
“I know that Yoon.” Jun closed his eyes and fell back in his chair. “You’re both too good to do that.”
“You’re not mad?”
“I think I knew. I think everyone knew.” The older man smiled, tears streaming now. “The worst thing is, I can’t even be mad. The things he said about you in that song. It’s true. You’re his person. And… and he’s yours”
“He is.” Yoongi whispered. “I’m so sorry.”
“Don’t be. Like I said I always knew. I shouldn’t have tried to force things. Force you to be with me when you already were with the person you should be.”
“You didn’t ever force me to do anything” Yoongi was quick to assure but Jun shook his head. “I had my head in my ass.”
“Can I at least break up with you?” Jun asked with a wet smile. When Yoongi nodded, cheeks wet with his own tear tracks now, he continued. “Yoongi, we need to break up.”
“I had a lot of fun with you.”
“So did I.”
Jun got to his feet, a smile spreading over his handsome face. “Don’t fuck things up with Namjoon.”
“Why do you assume it’d be me?”
“And don’t use that song for the idol. That’s Namjoon’s song.” Jun continued as if Yoongi hadn’t spoken. “Even if he did steal my boyfriend, Namjoon is a really fucking good guy.”
“I know.”
Jun nodded finally, already near the door, a duffel bag Yoongi vaguely recognised from a trip they’d taken months ago filled with the few belongings he’d left in Yoongia Apartment over the time they’d spent together.
“I’ll see you?”
Yoongi nodded, not following his now ex to the door.
××××
It wasn’t for another month until Yoongi was back at Namjoon’s door. They’d spent the previous weeks sharing smiles across the office, sitting pressed close to one another in bar booths with friends and sharing late night calls in hushed tones.
Namjoon opened the door, cheeks flushed and hair damp, clearly fresh from the shower.
“Uh hey.” Yoongi began awkwardly, he thrust his hand out shoving a cheap bunch of flowers at Namjoon. “These are for you.”
“Oh wow… thank you.” Namjoon chuckled a little, accepting the squished bouquet. “Do you want to come in?”
Yoongi nodded, awkwardly kicking off his shoes in the foyer. “Do you even have a vase?”
Namjoon shook his head, “I don’t think anyone's ever brought me flowers.” He smiled softly at the sad looking bouquet, causing Yoongi to make a mental note to buy the younger man as many bunches of flowers as he could afford in the future. “I’ve got a jar though in my recycling, that’s very fashionable.”
Yoongi nodded, climbing onto one of the barstools that peered into Namjoon’s kitchen.
“Can I get you a drink or an-“
“I love you.” Yoongi interrupted, suddenly incapable of keeping the words to himself, “I’m in love with you.”
Namjoon nodded slightly, still concentrating on arranging the flowers in the empty coffee jar. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“Because surely you have something else to add?” Yoongi huffed with a frown.
“I’ve got plenty to add, but I don’t think you’ve said all
You have to say just yet.”
Yoongi sighed, realising a relationship with Namjoon may be difficult. The younger knew him so well, always able to anticipate his needs before even he himself had realised them for so long. “The person I was with Jun, I’m not sure that’s the boyfriend you’re going to get.” Namjoon simply nodded, now carefully trimming flower stems to length. “The loudness of the way I loved him, that’s not really me. I’m shit at being romantic, I’m not as good at words as you are, I don’t like theme parks and matching outfits or Instagramming every milestone in our relationship. I did those things with Jun because they mattered so much to him, and I hated it.”
“I know you did.”
“But I’ll do it for you, if you need me to.”
“I don’t need that.” Namjoon shrugged slightly, “Nothing has to change between us if you don’t want it to. This is enough for me.”
“What is?”
“Knowing that you love me the same way I love you. Knowing that I won’t have to watch you with someone else.”
“Can I kiss you?”
Namjoon nodded, taking his time to exit the small kitchen and approach where Yoongi was sitting. “You don’t need to force yourself to match where I’m at with this.”
“I’m not at all.” Yoongi assured him, “I think I’ve been here longer than I thought I had.”
Yoongi curled an arm around Namjoon’s waist, pulled him so he stood between his open thighs. Tentatively he brought his lips to Namjoon’s. They stood like that foot a while, exchanging shy kisses that quickly became more heated.
They had a world of things to talk about, contingency plans for the business of this didn’t work out. They had to talk about the song, about Yoonhi realising his feelings had been there for longer than even he had realised. They needed to talk about titles, about what they were going to tell people. But for now, Namjoon was right. This was enough. Knowing they felt the same, that they had all the time they wanted to figure everything else out. It was enough to be each other’s person, the rest would come. As long as they were together.
