There was a multiversal crisis going on in the City of New York allowing villains to escape through from their universe. Such bad guys includes the Green Goblin and Electro who had both came from different alternate universes and had escaped from being trapped by the wizard Dr Stephen Strange thanks to this world's Spider-Man. The Goblin had taken a test tube to catch a sample of the energy bleeding out form the tears on the fabric of space and time.
"Never would Norman Osborn ever imagine that in his hand he would hold the energy that exists outside all of space and time nor would he ever venture outside the universe. He would consider such a thing existing only in the Twilight Zone or Star Trek." The Goblin muttered as they were in hiding inside an abandoned facility that was owned by Cross Technologies that they had just found. "I find myself in a world with a Spider-Man as well along with others who came from such worlds. With a compatriot that is like me; destined to die at the hands of Spider-Man." The Goblin stated looking towards Electro as they were exploring the place.
"That Strange guy said that us staying will cause this place to crash, I rather like being able to carry out living but can you stop this Earth from destroying itself?" Electro asked as the Goblin took off his helmet to show his insulted face.
"I am a scientist who built his company from scratch and figuring out how to fix this world so we could continue living in it without collapsing should be child's play." The Goblin retorted as he put his helmet back on with Electro grinning.
"Sorry for doubting you sir, you know in my universe I was friends with your son." Electro told him and Goblin laughed humourlessly.
"Doesn't exactly aspire confidence in you considering the disappointment in my own universe had none of the Osborn genius and got himself kicked out of every private school that he was sent to. I don't think the Harry in yours was much better if he was friends with someone who called himself Electro." The Goblin retorted as Electro glared at him.
"Coming from you who called himself the Green Goblin." Electro retorted himself as the Goblin glared at him behind the mask.
"Let me clarify something for you; never at any point did I call myself the Green Goblin. That was a name that Jameson of the Bugle gave me and copyrighted so that his rival papers would have to pay him for using the name. Looks just like the Jameson here only this world's Jameson got a haircut and I don't think mine even knows how to turn on a computer." The Goblin said as they saw windows and looked down at the area which was in an underground part of the facility.
"I thought that this world's Spider-Man killed him." Electro remarked as they saw the Mysterio character that this world's Spider-Man had supposedly killed but was acquitted through claims that his supposed heroics was engineered through holograms.
"Remember everyone, this has to be big for my big return to get my revenge on my killer Spider-Man! These new villains will leave so we need another big Avengers level threat to compensate!" Quentin Beck said in costume as they turned on the hologram machine with the two hidden villains thinking that the young Spider-Man was right.
They noticed they had a containment unit of the energy to study just like what they had, a hologram of a troll got near the unit and then it looked like it transformed into solid matter. Beck screamed at them to turn the malfunctioning hologram up but then it went to attack one of them as the Goblin smirked.
"I believe we have found our solution!" The Goblin said as he summoned his glider and busted through the window using a Bomb to destroy the troll and floated down along with Electro with the assembled crew looking terrified at them.
"So if it isn't Mysterio looking quite good for a dead man but I am hardly one to talk. The destiny of myself and my friend here are to be killed by Spider-Man ourselves. Rather the Spider-Men from our own counterparts in the Multiverse." The Goblin greeted Beck who then started laughing along with the others.
"Listen buddy, I don't know how you pull off your own special effects or how you found us but I must admit that it's top notch. I don't know about stealing our cover story..." Beck said but the Goblin picked him up by the throat and threw him to the containment unit smashing it.
Beck got up yelling looking like he thought he was about to explode like the others, but then Beck saw his hands performing some sort of green energy magic trick. "The Multiversal energy must have the power to turn fantasy into reality." The Goblin explained grinning and faced them all. "Listen everyone, if you know what's good for you then you will accept that I am now in charge of this group!" Goblin shouted with Electro glowing his hands into electricity helping to scare all of them into submission including Beck who realised he didn't know how to use his new powers.
"There are 3 more ghosts in the Multiverse still out there so let's assemble our sinister six..." the Goblin Smirked.
MUCH LATER
Peter Parker as Spider-Man looked up at the top of the old Avengers Tower at night along with Dr Strange and the other alternate versions of himself in the Multiverse who affectionately were called Seabiscuit Peter and Social Network Peter. They saw the giant Sandman with Social Network Peter whispering Mr Sandman by the Chordettes and Peter muttered "how are we going to fight this giant Sandman!"
Peter was scared with Seabiscuit Peter admitting that this villain killed his Uncle Ben in his own universe, "I have brought a Spider-Man who could help with him." Strange told them and then suddenly they saw another Spider-Man in a much cheaper looking costume and falling down from the sky was a massive black, yellow, silver and red giant robot with their mouths wide open.
"That is Leopardon and I am the Emissary from Hell: Spider-Man!" The Spider-Man said as he jumped to go inside Leopardon, the way he talked sounded like he was a badly dubbed American voice for a Godzilla movie.
"His robot doesn't look like it's spider themed at all..." Social Network Peter muttered as they web slinged up for this final fight.
It was tough as there was that Doc Ock guy (Otto Octavius), Electro, Beck with actual magic powers that he had been struggling with said powers and a Lizard guy with Sandman managing to help his allies in the fight against the Spider-Men along with fighting Leopardon.
"Flint, I forgave you for my uncle and I know you are not a bad guy! You have to know what a bad guy the Goblin is!" Seabiscuit Peter shouted pleadingly to the Sandman when he was sure that he would listen.
"The Goblin said he could change this world to suit us; Penny will not be sick and my wife will not hate me." The Sandman replied simply as they all noticed a tear in the fabric of reality opening up in the sky and it was only getting bigger.
Peter managed to outdo the frustrated Beck, "It's over Beck, the news saw you helping the bad guys and how you faked your death! You're a villain now and there is no denying it!" Peter shouted to Beck pushing him back.
"I told you about how people will believe what they want to believe and you would be surprised at how good spin doctors would be! Besides, it won't matter because history and reality as we know it is going to rewrite itself!" Beck ranted but he was picked up by a large bulky slime monster by the throat with a large tongue.
"Eddie?" Seabiscuit Peter muttered hesitatingly to the big monster who grinned at him.
"We are the Lethal Protectors!" the monster said and grinned as he looked at the screaming Beck. "Fish bowl head just like the massive jawbreakers from Ed, Edd N Eddy!" the monster said and the Spider-Men along with the others turn their heads as the monster opened it's mouth and they heard Beck's scream of agony.
First they deal with saving reality and then deal with this cannibal monster who seemed like it wanted to help later...
Peter managed to reach the top of the tower where there was the giant hologram machine and the Goblin was with Guterman from Beck's crew. A hologram was created showing an Iron Man suit of mainly red with a star shaped arc reactor with blue and silver. "I used the symbolism of the world's most beloved heroes Captain America and Iron Man, I couldn't think of a better name so I just used the Iron Patriot name that they saddled War Machine with briefly." Guterman told him and the Goblin aligned himself with the hologram and then they flew up to the tear and the armour became real.
Peter took down Guterman but had to dodge as the Iron Patriot now flew down and opened up his faceplate. "You insist on being a hero when villains get away with horrible crimes all the time provided they have the right connections, wealth and story to sell to the public. You heroes save the day in this universe and bad guys take advantage of the aftermath while making sure the heroes get the criticism. Hard work gets you nowhere and someone else takes the credit. You build a company with your bare hands and make it successful more so than it had ever been and the vultures in the board still choose to kick you out. I plan on fixing all that!" The Iron Patriot told him as Electro flew down.
"You all being here and the tear in the reality is going to break this world apart!" Peter screamed as the Iron Patriot shook his head.
"I am going to fix it with a hologram of a better world that will be made reality! We will make a world where we do belong and we are the heroes! Iron Patriot leader of the Avengers and no one will know who Iron Man or Captain America ever was. All of us working together!" The Patriot said.
"I thought Spider-Man on my world was my friend but he lied to me and betrayed me! We could be friends as we all will be superheroes together!" Electro told Peter and Peter couldn't count how wrong this sounded.
"I thought Spider-Man could be a replacement for my disappointment of a son and you could fit the bill better! Think about it, Spider-Man member of the Avengers alongside us! No one will be hating you and in fact will be loving you! You could bring back the one you lost and want to bring back the most! Don't lie and say Stark!" The Iron Patriot told him and Peter muttered that he didn't know what he was talking about.
"I hate it when Spider-Man lies to me! You know your Uncle Ben!" Electro told him and Peter paused as Electro grinned at his reaction. "I get it Pete, please don't mind me calling you that since in a few minutes we are going to be good friends. How much of a Stark sycophant you were and Beck told us of how easily you bought his act and gave him the EDITH glasses. We ended up wondering if you are so desperate to find a new father figure because poor Peter Parker never got over the guilt and death of losing his Uncle Ben leaving a hole that he is so desperate to try and fill!" Electro told him and Peter put his head down.
"We can fix all this Peter; Uncle Ben will be back never having died!" The Iron Patriot told him and Peter thought it over.
"I do miss Uncle Ben and if he was here... He would tell me how wrong this would be!" Peter yelled as he kicked Electro back and the Iron Patriot shook his head as he put his faceplate down and the two villains began fighting the youngest Spider-Man in the fight.
